Lagoa Das Sete Cidades “Jeep” Tour

Our guide, Pedro, was knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Ponta Delgorda. He drove us in his classic Range Rover up to the Setes Cidades to view the twin lake volcanic crater. Be prepared to walk up a steep hill to get the best view. Pedro wanted us to get great pictures of this amazing natural wonder. He drove us to the small town nestled at the base of the volcano and then to his favorite childhood spot. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend Pedro and his company.

This was a fun informative tour. Our guide Tiago was one of the best and you could tell he loved what he was doing as well as the Acores. He took great care of us while taking us off the beaten path, wnsuring we had the best views and day possible. Also was easy to find as soon as we disembarked. Highly recommend.

Pedro was amazing! He drove us around in a certified Museum vehicle (1994 Land Rover) navigating the roadways with ease and comfort. He spoke of the history, foliage and trees, economy, Azores living, and information at tourist spots and hidden gems. He made time at places if we wanted to stay longer and walked us up to areas for the best views. I highly recommend him for personal tours and would book with again! It was definitely a memorable experience!
