Words cannot describe the feeling of driving an open air buggy on the rim of a volcano! This is an amazing tour full of stops and sights. The food served was buffet style, however, it was freshly cooked and delicious. I highly recommend this tour as a bucket list purchase! Our guide did an excellent job of keeping us on track while still allowing us the freedom of stopping where and for how long we wished. Do not miss this tour!

The full day tour was AMAZING!!! Pedro was outstanding! It was a truly incredible experience that we will never forget. I HIGHLY recommend this company and Pedro for anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience around Sete Cidades!
This was the best time. We had so much fun with Pedro. There is no better way to see this island- Pedro knew all the best viewpoints and shared so much information and stories. There’s nothing here that isn’t beautiful. A few tips- the weather here is all over the place. You will have to put on and take off several times, so layering- a scarf, gloves, short sleeves, sunscreen, large sunglasses or goggles (no windshield), raincoat, and water is a must. There’s room at the passenger feet to throw a backpack. Come ready or you will not be comfortable. You literally hit at least 3 seasons in a day. You may want a bandana to cover your nose. Parts of the ride are a little dusty. The lunch was good and Pedro takes care of a reserved table and all that. It was perfect and worth every penny. Pictures don’t do the Azores justice. You have to see it. Amazing.
This was a perfect was to explore part of the island and Sete Cidades. Our tour guide was amazing and we met great people in the tour. Highly recommended!
Has the most amazing experience. Even with the rain in forecast and the fog that didn’t allow us to see the lakes from the top, our guide provided a lot of information and had a couple of stops showing us different sides. It’s beautiful! We liked the mix of paved road and dirt road. Many people seeing us drive up in the buggy’s would wave or smile with intrigue. Someone from our hostel was on foot, and recognized me and my friend and later that day commented on how cool that was.

Great day out but make sure to pack a waterproof as you may get every season in one day. The views are awesome. The lunch was excellent. Well worth the money.

Had a fantastic day. The tour guide was exceptional - shared lots of information and kept things interesting! The off-road was amazing - doing and seeing things you could not do in a car. Saw everything promised plus extras. Loved every minute of the excursion.

Scenery absolutely gorgeous! Guide was friendly and knowledgeable .
Little restaurant that we had lunch at offered delicious food and wine.

We had a such a great experience on the buggy tour! Reuben was a wonderful guide. He showed us many amazing sites and shared lots of the area’s history. The other couple on the tour was on their honeymoon and were so sweet and easy to be with. Such a cool way to spend the day and see the island!!

The only reason I did not give this tour 5 stars is because of misleading information in the description. There is NO stop at the Ferraria hot pools which we were really excited about so that was disappointing. However, the UTV's were really fun, the lunch was fabulous and our guide, Luis, was awesome.

Very fun activity! Went with two teens. Had choice of buggy or ATV and glad we went with buggy. 7 hours on ATV would have been a very long day. Frequent stops to take pictures, rotate drivers and take in the sites. Rubin was a great tour guide. I was wondering if bathing suit were necessary- they are not. No place to swim. Wear layers. Temp can vary greatly.
The highlight of our week-long visit to the Island of Sao Miguel was the full day UTV Tour with lunch from Ponta Delgada. Our tour guide Miguel was outstanding. As a local, he shared information about the island and area that only a lifelong resident would know. Miguel knew all the dirt paths and led us to secluded access to views and lakes that were so impressive and beautiful to us. He would often take a group picture of the four of us in remote spots with unique scenic backgrounds, resulting in absolutely beautiful pictures. We all took turns driving the UTV which was really a blast, mostly on dirt paths following Miguel on his ATV. A great buffet lunch at a local restaurant was indeed tasty with choices of salad, beef, salt or fresh water fish, pork, rabbit, rice and so much more. We highly recommend this tour it was soooo much fun!

This was way fun tour! Well worth the money. We spent hours traveling along back country 4-wheel drive roads, up along the rim of the caldera around Sete Cicades. Views were fabulous. Didn't hurt that we had a perfectly clear cloudless sunny day. The food was local and very good, some not recognizable to us Americans but well presented and plenty of it. Just depends on how adventurous your taste buds are. The ATC's and Razor were in excellent condition. The guide had a tendency to forget we were behind him and would lose us in the maze of dirt roads. In the town where we had lunch he had to come back and find a couple of us. This was our 4th time on the São Miguel Is, Ponta Delgada port, and we saw so much more than we've ever seen before.
My husband and I took a tour of Sete Cidades by ATV Buggy with Luis. It was amazing! It is the Best way to see the area! Fun and Excitiing .Highly recommend
Miguel was onze gids en hij heeft er een echt feestje van gemaakt. Bij ons was het bewolkt en regenachtig maar de pret was er niet minder om. Wel kan ik iedereen aanraden een zonnebril mee te nemen, ook als het bewolkt is (skibril zou nog beter zijn). Door modder en stof kun je zonder bril eigenlijk niet rijden. Lunch was ook super!
