We booked this last minute in place of a tour and we are so glad we did. What a truly amazing way to spend the day! Maria was our tour guide. She picked us up at a convenient spot near our hotel and showed us around a bit on our way to the studio. The studio is incredible. Andreas creates much of the dinner ware for the hotels and works with many students as well. Coincidentally, the hotel we are staying in has many of his sculptures and other pieces on display throughout the property. He is so incredibly talented and he and his wife Cristi are so fun and interesting as they teach you about the art of pottery over wine and snacks. He then helps you to create a unique piece on the wheel and helps guide you as you go. You can choose a color for the piece and they will ship it to you for only the additional cost of mailing it. It was so much fun and they are so lovely to spend time with. A truly authentic and unique experience in Santorini. Maria then took us to an adorable traditional cave style vineyard/art space to view some art and taste some wine. Paula was our guide at the vineyard. She is so much fun to tour with and the wine is delicious. Maria has curated the perfect way to spend an afternoon. We absolutely loved every part of it!
