It was a long day but a wonderful mix of nature and history- Luho was beautiful and the beach was gorgeous.

I visited Playa de las Catedrales 2 times and both were really worth it. On this trip it was a sunny day and you could walk in areas that were filled with water another day. So every day is different and every day has its own charm. It feels like magic. We also visited the roman wall in Lugo, an Unesco world heritage site, which was very interesting and the old city of Lugo seemed very Spanish (i.e., non-turistic). Our tour guide Maria was very good and told us a lot of interesting things.

Tour goes to Lugo, which is a lovely small town w/ an amazing Roman wall. Loved being able to walk along the wall. Lunch in Lugo was great too! We had perfect weather - didn't realize how wonderful the Playa de las Catedrales would be. This is a great tour and makes a fun day out of Santiago.

Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable of the area and all the stops. It was wonderful to see the history of Lugo with the wall, then the natural history of the beach.

Our reservation did not sent to Galicia Tours.
By chance we found the last 2 free seats in the bus. Otherwise we would have lost the opportunity to make this tour!

I booked the tour with English speaking guide but the tour was in Spanish with only myself and only 1 other English speaking guest on the bus.The guide was only giving commentaries in Spanish until i sent a message to the local operator and then she started to give commentary in English also.After that i had no issues with the guide,but lunch was late in Ribadeo although we had 2 hrs for lunch 1 hr would have been enough as all the shops were closed which meant walking around the town aimlessly for an hour

Operator changed pickup time from ticket stated 9:00am to 8:00am and Never let us know. They left without us as we showed up at 8:45 for the ticket stated 9:00am pickup.
Then we could not rebook because it was not offered again while we were in Santiago.Very disappointed.

The excursion was supposed to be in Spanish and English but apart from being handed a leaflet in English and telling us about the duration of our stops the guide only spoke in Spanish to give descriptions of the places visited. We found the guide pleasant and helpful when asked.
Secondly we found the time spent in the beach of Cathedrals very short.
Thirdly we found the stops in Radibeo and Lugo uninteresting and looks as if they’ve been added to the excursion just to fill the day.

Being our first time to Spain, it was great to see such a special place. The guide did an excellent job explaining many things. We also spent time in Lugo which was enjoyable. Felt the results of the trip met the value that we paid.

It was a very enjoyable tour of the day to Lugo and Cathedral beach. It would have been a greater experience staying more time at the beach to really savor the place and to be able to get in the water.
One suggestion is for the tour guides to have the proper mask in the face. I noticed our tour guide was constantly arranging his mask on his nose as it was sliding down. Also, it should be a fresh disposable mask every day as they are busy with big groups of people every day and they should be the example to make us feel safe. Thank you.

I was expecting more of Lugo(going inside the cathedral and walking around the wall)and spending more time at the Cathedral beach. We could have skipped the travel time and walking tour at Ribadeo. Since this trip was scheduled on a Sunday at the middle of the day, there was nothing much going on in terms of cultural encounters. On the other hand, Maria tried her very best to make it worthwhile. At least the Cathedral beach trip was really worth the time and travel. I know timing is of the essence because of having to consider that it is low tide when we get to the beach. And it would be helpful to indicate that return is after sundown.

Bellissima esperienza per chi patla spagnolo. Luoghi magnifici guida preparata ma ostante avessimo richiesto inglese ha parlato solo spagnolo. Non conoscendo noi la lingua abbiamo avuto difficoltà a comprendere le istruzioni per accedere alla spiaggia delle cattedrali Galizia tour ci ha risposto dopo 2 ore e ha sostenuto che loro fanno sempre presentazione in inglese (non é stata detta una parolain inglese) e spagnolo non in altre lingue (che noi non avevamo richiesto) , la guida non si è interessata. Ottima invece l'assistenza di Viator

Viel zu viel Zeit unterwegs, der Strand ist nett aber auch nicht mehr. Und überfüllt mit Menschen. Stopp in in ribadeo mit 2h für Mittagessen um 14:45 (?) viel zu lange. Stopp in Lugo unnötig, da man die Kirche nur von außen sieht und sie von außen eine „normale“ Kirche ist. Und die Erklärungen sowieso nur in spanisch erfolgen. Der überreichte Zeiten mit englischen Infos ist nur die Kurzversion.

Die Erklärungen werden in beiden Sprachen gegeben, um sicherzustellen, dass alle unsere Reisenden die Geschichte und die besuchten Orte genießen und verstehen können.
Was den besuchten Strand betrifft, ist es richtig, dass er an manchen Tagen aufgrund seiner Beliebtheit stärker besucht sein kann. Dennoch bleibt er ein Ort von großer natürlicher Schönheit und ein Highlight der Tour.
Der Stopp in Ribadeo ist so geplant, dass die Reisenden ihr Mittagessen in Ruhe genießen können, und in Lugo bieten wir die Möglichkeit, die historische Umgebung der Stadt zu erkunden. Auch wenn die Besichtigung der Kathedrale nur von außen erfolgt, halten wir Lugo aufgrund seiner Geschichte und der römischen Mauer, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört, für einen wichtigen Ort.

El viaje fue muy bien, y la guía María, estupenda, se nota que le gusta su trabajo y todo lo que contó era interesante y bien preparado, atendió a los compañeros de viaje que hablaban en inglés perfectamente. Todo muy bien, solo dos cosas, hay que avisar en la web a que hora sería la salida según el día, o advertir algo, ya que cambia según la pleamar.

Desde Lugo, pasando por Ribadeo, hasta llegar a la Playa de las Catedrales, una experiencia única. Sin duda, volvería a repetir. María, nuestra guía, fue estupenda con todos. Nos mostró los rincones más fabulosos de las tres localizaciones anteriormente mencionadas y quedamos encantados.

Viator no paso bien los datos a la compañía, ni me comunicaron el csmbio de horario de la salida, lo cual perdi el viaje. Al finla la compañia tour Galícia nos ofreció una alternativa a otri lugar. Viator, aun escribiendoles, no me ha contestado

Este tour hubiera sido perfecto si hubiéramos podido quedarnos en la playa de las catedrales de 2 a 3 horas en lugar de menos de una hora, para así poder disfrutar de la maravillosa playa y sus magníficas catedrales para fotografiar. Y..., ni qué decir tiene, de haber podido disfrutar de un buen chapuzón en el agua de temperatura perfecta. Nada que ver con el agua fría de las Rías Baixas (...y yo soy de Pontevedra)!!
Con respecto al guía, estuvo genial su conocimiento y explicaciones constantes de todos los lugares a recorrer. Sólo un detalle que, en estos tiempos del Covid, me preocupó un poco. Y es referente a su mascarilla. Constantemente se le estaba cayendo de la nariz y tenía que colocarla en su lugar. Y es que era de un material de malla que de lavarlo tantas veces se había estirado.
Pienso que es más apropiado que los guías que están continuamente con grupos de turistas utilizen mascarillas de usar y tirar cada 4 horas para así dar sensación de seguridad a cada miembro del grupo en el tour. Sumamente importante, sobretodo porque en Julio he visto el incremento de turistas cada semana en Santiago de Compostela. Y en Agosto el turismo tiende a aumentar. Gracias.
