Manuel our driver and guide was quite a gentlemen as he traveled the roads providing historical fun facts regarding Puerto Rico. Then off toi a native detectable lunch venue where we ate and enjoyed conversation about our excursion.

Opportunity to see and learn about the real Puerto Rico. Took mountain roads , saw many other areas and saw old San Juan as well. Our guide, Francesco gave us many insights into both the daily lives of Puerto Rican citizens and historical events that shaped what Puerto Rico is today. A sampler lunch of Puerto Rican dishes was delicious (cost not included). Not many stops. Mostly a driving tour. Three stops including lunch. There was a huge traffic jam day of our tour because of a local event so we were a bit delayed getting started. However, Francesco kept us updated frequently. Communication was Excellent. It was what we were looking for and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Jerry our driver & guide was excellent. He gave us a knowledgeable breakdown of SJ’s history. Also well as a really informative view of life as a resident. The views from the mountains were spectacular. He was very friendly, personable, happy to stop anywhere we wanted to and answer our questions. We have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Our tour guide, Manuel, was awesome. He was a great host, very knowledgeable, and enjoys sharing his beloved islands history and culture. This tour is a must to get a taste of PR beyond San Juan. Well worth it.

Francesco was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgable about the history of San Juan and Puerto Rico. We learned so much about the area that we wouldn't have known otherwise. Especially loved the drive into the mountains and stopping at the lookout point! We visited a wonderful bakery and then an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant with large portions for lunch.

I thought I had reviewed this right after the tour, but it keeps popping up. This was one of the most enjoyable things we did in Puerto Rico. Our guide even took us to a local restaurant (we paid of course) to eat traditional Puerto Rican food.

Jerry was excellent! He was professional and knowledgeable, personable and engaging, and he kept us laughing all day. He showed us the important sites around San Juan, took us where the locals go to eat BBQ and drink coffee, and taught us spanish words and phrases all along the way. Jerry made the tour worth every cent!

It is the real deal. I saw the city where my grandmother was born. For me (and my son) the was a family heritage journey. My son's padrinos are also from there. This was a huge thrill for us. He was knowledgeable; even showing and letting the group (others who were regular tourists) experience the tradition of real authentic food and "cafecito". That was great!

Fantastic! We just arrived in San Juan the night before. This was the perfect tour for us to get to know the history and area in and outside of Old San Juan. Jerry, owner and guide is knowledgeable, fun and completely at ease (with us and the driving). If you are wondering if you should take 5 hours out of your vacation for one tour. This is worth it!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Manuel was excellent! He provided information about the history of Puerto Rico that was very interesting. He was also flexible with the time that we needed to take photos and explore the sites that we visited. The tour ended with a truly memorable serenade about those of us who were on the tour! It was a wonderful and memorable half day.

We were picked up right on time at our hotel and then drove to two additional locations for pick up. Jerry was very courteous and knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We were encouraged to ask questions and Jerry had answers. A portion of our route was blocked due to an event but Jerry was not detoured as he found alternate routes. We had a great lunch and coffee afterwards. We are both mobility impaired so Jerry was always there to help us in and out of the van and ensured we and the other participants were safe throughout the tour. Jerry informed us it was our decision how long we stayed at each stop so we never felt rushed. We learned a great deal about Puerto Rico’s government, relationship with mainland USA, indigenous plants and animals and the Puerto Rican culture. We would highly recommend this tour and Jerry to anybody.

Manuel was a great tour guide. He would stop and let you take pictures anytime you wished! He was so informative as well as entertaining. With that said, make sure he sings you a special song before the tour is over. He was just great.

This tour was great. Jerry was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. We saw many of the highlights of San Juan and his stories of the history of Puerto Rico were very informative. We also had a lot of laughs with Jerry and the others on the tour. The stops were timely, and we could spend as much or as little time at each one as we wished. He really made us feel we were in control of the tour. We also really enjoyed our stop for lunch. The food was very good. I highly recommend this tour.

Jerry was prompt, welcoming and most accommodating. He is an enthusiastic tour guide with personal stories on a variety of topics. Prior to pick up at our hotel, he communicated by text (besides the online confirmation) and provided the type of vehicle and tag number and what he would be wearing. He is well versed in the historical and cultural origin of PR and gives an interesting and sometimes humorous commentary throughout the trip! We made several stops in Old San Juan and along the beachfront and then began our journey to the top of the mountain in Bayamon where, along the way, we ate Puerto rican fare at a local restaurant and then sweets and coffee at another. We’ve been to PR before and this tour was another we can recommend. Thanks, Jerry!

Jerry was very responsive and respectful of what we wanted to see and do. Very informative. He kept in good communication with us prior to our experience (cannot say the same for other tour operators on this trip!) He was also very flexible and adaptive to what he thought would interest us.

Informative and fun. Four people were on a tour plus the guide and driver, Manuel. At the end of our four hour tour, Manuel surprised us all by playing a short song he had composed about us while he was giving the tour.
