This tour never happened. I went to the hotel lobby at 10:15am as my pickup time was 10:30am. I waited until 10:59 to contact them via the app and when I did, I never got a response. I contacted Viator directly and they could not get in touch with them either. It was very disappointing as I was really looking forward to going to Loiza.

Not a good experience as it was cancelled because no one else signed up. This was the one thing I was looking forward to on this trip and the one thing that didn’t happen. Very disappointed.

Per our policy we require a minimum of 2 passengers to conduct the private tour. we had informed you at the time of booking that the tour has potential for cancellation if there isn't an additional passenger added. which happen to be the case.

This was an amazing excursion! Sarah was our guide, and was so knowledgeable, sweet, and comfortable to talk to. Everything about the excursion, from slowly strolling the streets to see all the art to meeting THE Samuel Lind and visiting his studio to doing the paint and sip on the beach was absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for some chill vibes, beautiful art, and an absolutely wonderful tour guide experience.

Our tour guide, Sarah, showed us her favorite spots along the streets of Barrio Santurce, where our vision was awash in the urban wonderland of street art. After our foray in the city, we were whisked away to the city of Loíza, where the roads are embroidered in pan-African colors and narrow lanes tunneled by the proliferous vegetation. The legendary artist, Samuel Lind himself, shared his dreams and inspiration for his latest collection PORTALES and signed prints available for purchase. Finally, after a snack, Sarah plied us with Gasolina and had us paint on my favorite local beach, Piñones. I texted Sam my finished tempera painting, and he responded, “Fabuloso!” Which is just how I feel about Sarah and Samuel and this tour.

Mike was an awesome tour guide. He makes you feel like you’ve been friends for a long time. We really enjoyed that he had very great knowledge of the town and the history behind all the different art. Our most favorite part was visiting Samuel Linda home to look at all his art pieces. I would definitely recommend this to friends!

Ok had high expectations for this the tour guide came 1/2 hr late to pick us up from the place given as a choice to meet . the street art he showed us was very nice he was very knowledgeable about the artist and different things about the island. The artist who we where supposed to go to was not home the tour guide should’ve called ahead. The stop for a snack was nice food was very tasty. The paint stop is done in a nice park under a tree. Sip and paint only one drink was given. But ok, all in all they should be more organized provide small easels from dollar store would be great. Would recommend to people who like street art

The tour itself was great! However, the tour company was not prepared for the sip and paint portion of the tour. There were not enough canvases for me and my 2 daughters to paint, so only one could paint. That made an otherwise fantastic experience turn into a sour one. I have requested a fair refund (not the entire price) and was told I could only get $50 back from the $400 spent on the tours. The company admitted to a lack of preparation, so I don't understand why I must pay for their lack of planning. Our guide was the best part of this experience. Sarah, you did a wonderful job!

This was very fun and relaxing. If you are into art and you love the beach, this is definitely for you. The street art is incredible!!! We also saw the art of a very talented painter. His pieces are incredible too!!!

Our tour guide, Sarah was AMAZING! My friends and I booked a private tour. Totally worth it!! The artist and art gallery we visited were spectacular. Most importantly, the culture, history and foods we experienced was more than we imagined!

Fabian was AMAZING! He was super knowledgeable and showed us the true culture of the island. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want a TRUE cultural experience, then you should definitely take this tour! ** side note, Fabian saved a man on our trip, more the reason for him being awesome!

This was my must do tour after reading the description and the raving 5 star reviews on the website. I was VERY disappointed.
In a nut shell, the tour differs significantly from the description. There was no cooking lesson with tasting and the artist wasn't home for the studio tour.
The guided art tour was underwhelming. It did not include my favorite photos from the website and the tour guide had limited art knowledge.
Lastly, I didn't do the paint and sip as the tour ran long (4.5 w/o the paint and sip) and I didn't want to spend more time on that portion.
Note: I did contact the tour guide to request a refund and was given a small partial refund.

Ma’am your review is 100% subjective. Unfortunately, you came with you own expectations of what our tour had to offer. As most clients love the this tour. Since you choose to not participate in the sip & paint you were given a partial refund due to the art studio being closed that particular day. The tour specifically states urban street art. These murals are changed over time by local Puerto Rican artists. As these are not historical pieces there isn’t much information that we can give on the street art. It’s for you to see and enjoy the creativity of the pieces.

Yuma, our tour guide was knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about sharing that knowledge as she drove us around the different sites. She showed respect for her country and it's variety of culture and art. Each stop brought an entirely unique aspect to PR that we never knew and motivated us to want to return to the island to learn more.

Amazing tour! The street murals were so good. They were everywhere you looked, tucked in corners and around every corner.
You get to meet a local artist and following eat local food and paint!

We had amazing time on this tour! Our guide was super sweet and chill. She showed us several parts of the city and let us grab some local food. All before settling down to paint in this cute open space right off the beach! We’re definitely recommending all of our friends book and we’ll be booking again

While the visit with the local artist was outstanding, the walking tour and sip & paint were laughable. We walked 6 blocks and visited paintings the tour guide did not know about. The sip and paint was two 8x8 canvases, dirty brushes and wine in a pouch from Walgreens that cost $4.99 for 5 pouches. We were only given 4. I confirmed the price as I bought some too take home. This tour should have cost $15 per person.

This was a great experience for our week-long trip. Enid was great and text me the day before to confirm the reservation, she was nice and was even early picking us up straight from the hotel. The only difference was we were not aware that two other girls were joining our trip. These ladies were lovely and matched our energy very well! We got picked up then went straight to the tour of the street art, then we stopped at a local shop for smoothies and a snack. Next, we took a trip to see the local shops and food vendors. (prepared to be there with cash ) then we went painting by the beach. Enid took pictures of us and with us. She was great !!! This is a 10 out 10 highly recommend! we got picked up at 10 am and got back to our hotel at around 2:30 pm. It is a lot of walking so bring water and be prepared to take a nap after !

The tour was average. Overpriced for a couple to pay $120 a piece for this experience.
I first booked the tour weeks prior to arriving in P.R. On the night before the tour, Yuma confirmed the pick up time by text. Then the morning of the tour, I sent a text message to confirm again and there was no reply. When I checked my email I saw the trip had been cancelled maybe an hour before due to weather. I was bum because I had nothing planned that day and did not want to waste a day of my vacation. Many of the excursion get pre-booked up months in advance. Luckily, I was able to book a different walking food tour at the last minute, so a day wasn't wasted. Turns out the the weather was beautiful that entire day, I was able to sightsee in Old San Juan and also spend a good amount of the day in Pinones.
Because I was still interested in the meeting the artist and learning to cook, I went ahead and rebooked this same Arte tour again for the next day(Monday). When the tour guide came to pick us up it was then that we learned that the itinerary was not going to be the same as the description. She told us we would not be cooking and we would not meet a local artist, she said those things are not included. I asked her if Luquillo Beach was included and she tried to use the weather as an excuse. I told her that I really wanted to see Luquillo so I talked to her about leaving out Pinones in order to see Luquillo Beach. She apologized for the description and says she would let the supervisor know. I can't remember her name but she was nice. So I really only saw 2 areas, Santurce and Luquillo Beach. But the description says at least 3 stops are included. It just would have been nice to know in advance. Updates to the itinerary should be communicated the evening before.
