It was a great experience with newborn turtles helping them get to the ocean. We wore gloves to turn them around if they were going the wrong way. We got to hold them as well.

The wife and I always try to do something nature related on every trip we take. We both agreed this is one of the coolest things we have ever done. Guides were good, friendly and knowledgeable. Pickup was smooth. The whole process was fairly quick as we were done in about 45 minutes. You get an adoption certificate for one sea turtle but depending on how many people are on the tour you get to release a lot more. There were 5 people on this excursion and we released 150 sea turtles. One sort of drawback is the release is near many resorts so when you release them it draws a huge crowd even that late in the afternoon. The guides knew this so we walked down the beach quite a ways and the turtles were brought to us by the conservation team. Still ended up with 20-30 people around us to watch.

Nevershowed up as agreed or spot agreed..sent a picture but date time stamp showed was lying..then next day guide called to say there was a mix up in office and he was there to take me on tour while I was in next port with my cruise...this company lied big time..then viator put me through hell get my money back and still not return my certificate used

Holding the baby turtles was magical. Our guide was excellent very understanding of all the people that wanted to participate, but didn’t pay. He was calm and relaxed and unkind and very attentive to the five of us who had signed up. I would definitely recommend this.

We've done plenty of activities in Cabo over the years we've been coming and this rates up there with only one - our whale watching tour where we saw a few whales but a mega pod of thousands of dolphins. Didn't think that could be beat but this experience was right up there and maybe more so because of the educational aspect of our experience through our tour guide. So sad to hear that so few of these babies survives in the wild but that is nature and if our participation helps in any way to increase the odds even a little bit, it was well worth it.

This experience was amazing! We released 80 baby turtles to the ocean, increasing their chances of survival! So many eggs are hatching and they need help. Please help, they are wonderful creatures!

Excellent experience. So funny watching the turtles go back to the sea. Enjoyed the knowledge of the john Percy explaining everything about the turtles. Would recommend 100%. Very happy we were about to experience the turtles release!

Had so much fun holding the baby turtles an releasing them. We also protected them from the seagulls flying overhead. I hope my turtle is living a good life in the 🌊. Tour guide had so much knowledg, patience and spoke perfect english. Magical experience

This was such a fun day! I’ve always wanted to see the turtles being released so this crossed off an item on my bucket list. Our guide was great at explaining the rescues mission and information about the turtles. The only thing I would caution is that the sea gulls will get more than you expect so be prepared for the circle of life!

Marcos picked us up and we went to were they have the eggs put into nests where the that are protected. He explained to us how they have people watching for turtles nesting and then move the eggs to keep them safe from animals and people. We then went to a different beach and released the turtles. It was such an amazing experience! Would highly recommend!

I am so grateful that we got to share this experience! Our guide told us a lot about the turtles and what their organization is doing to help them thrive. We got to gently hold and help newly hatched Ridley sea turtles into the waves, past the crabs and birds, and on their way. Our shuttle was very comfortable and arrived at our hotel on time. We weren't able to go the the turtle sanctuary, but went right to the beach. Los Cabos beaches are not easy to walk on, the water is turbulent, and you have to be able to move fairly quickly, bend to pick up and release your turtles, and balance on rough and changing terrain. Due to the nature of the activity, it's only available if there are turtles to release. We were lucky to have 47 baby turtles to help as a group. We each got an "adoption certificate" for one turtle. Highly recommended for older kids (who can follow specific instructions and handle creatures very gently) and adults who are mobile enough to navigate the beach and wade in the waves.

Great experience, my 14 year old loved it. There are rules to follow, so listen to the briefing. Overall it was a great time. A few did get eaten by sea gulls, so if you have younger children you should be prepared with the "circle of life" lecture. But the vast majority of turtles were safely released and it's something my son will always remember.
