We turned up at the designated meeting point and the tour guide was a no show and hadn't bothered to inform us or cancel the tour. Very disappointing. We contacted Viator who refunded our money.

The movie magic tour was amazing and super informative. Our guides were awesome, very nice and extremely patient. Wear comfortable walking shoes, it's a good walk, but I highly recommend!

If you’re a fan of Hocus Pocus or Bewitched, the Movie Magic Tour in Salem is an absolute must — it was pure enchantment from beginning to end! The tour took us to some of the most iconic Hocus Pocus filming locations, including Alison’s house, the Old Town Hall where the legendary "I Put a Spell on You" scene was filmed, and the Salem Common, which served as the backdrop for the school scenes. a fan favorite! Another highlight was visiting the famous statue of Samantha from Bewitched. The guides shared fun behind-the-scenes stories about the scenes filmed in Salem, along with some personal anecdotes and cast encounters that made the experience feel extra special. The blend of old Hollywood magic with real Salem history was unforgettable. Our tour guides were friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable — they even sprinkled in local legends and spooky tales that added to the charm. If you’re ever in Salem and love these witchy classics, don’t miss this tour. It truly felt like stepping right into the movies.

The tour guide, David, has extremely poor time management. The meeting place was confusing; we were supposed to meet AT the tipsy cowboy restaurant, NOT INSIDE of it where he allowed people to order entire meals, and proceeded to not let them finish and that took an hour out of our touring time. We did not stop at each location for the allowed time. We did not learn as much as we had hoped for as this was our first time in Salem. 🚩The itinerary was not followed.🚩 We did not return to the meeting point either as was stated in the booking. We lost half of our group because this was more of a marathon than a tour. He did not let the group catch up and we were comprised of children and elderly visitors. I saw other tour guides making themselves visible to their group, but it just seemed like David was trying to run away from us all. I am extremely dissatisfied and would highly encourage others to consider a different tour all together. We caught the end of a different tour and learned more in 3 minutes from them speaking than we did with David for 2 hours. The best part of this experience wasn’t even part of the tour. There was a Sanderson Sister group that was a blast to be around and they created a wonderful atmosphere for our group until they couldn’t tag along further. I wish them well and only them.
