Just an incredible way to spend an hour and a bit - we rode through beautiful snowy forest and then returned with time to take photos with the horses and warm drinks and marshmallows in a hut - a must do and our seven year old thought it was fantastic. Note of caution - it’s at least a 10min walk from the main SCV area so build that in

Just make sure you are properly dressed and have pocket heater with you during winter.

Riding a finnhorse through the snow is an incredible experience in itself, the kindness of the instructor and the almost friend-like connection just adds to it. She makes sure you’re safe at all times and it was by far the best activity I got to do at Santa clause Village!

We had a fabulous ride through the forest in the snow and just as the sun was setting.
My son had never ridden before and he was assisted really well.
Definitely going back in the summer for riding in the midnight sun.
