Our guide, Ruslan, provided excellent communication throughout the entire tour and picked us up promptly from our hotel. He took us to four different locations to view the Northern Lights, each offering a unique and unforgettable experience.
Ruslan’s dedication to ensuring we had the best views was evident as he consistently monitored the app to track the optimal viewing spots, allowing us to follow the lights as they moved.
While some of the locations were part of the standard tourist route, the final stop was his personal favourite, and it turned out to be the highlight of the tour, offering the most spectacular view of the lights.
This was truly a well organised and magical experience!
My husband and I didn't plan ahead and realized that seeing the Northern Lights would be more fickle than we had hoped for. During our trip, the forecast suddenly turned to a high chance, but every place for the same night was booked out already. Thankfully, Ruslan's wasn't. Right from the get go, he was clear with his communication and even printed out our names before we got in his car even though we booked the experience just a couple hours before. That was awfully sweet of him and made us feel special. He took us to multiple spots to increase our chances of seeing the auroras and never wasted our time with bbqs. As a result, we saw the most beautiful auroras, and we were super lucky Ruslan was available that night to chase the auroras. He was funny and kind, and I would book an experience with him again when I am back in Finland next.
