Our experience was fantastic. Our tour guide was there early and got us set up right away. He even made sure my husbands mobility scooter fit in his vehicle. He took us to fantastic places on the island. He was so kind and helpful with getting my husband some extra help. He shared the history of the island and his own personal stories. I would recommend Erik to anyone coming for a visit to Roatan and I would recommend Viator as an excursion company. We loved every minute of this.

Fantastic tour — Dilbert was a fantastic driver sand guide — so flexible and friendly.
So wonderful to get to interact with the sloth, macaws and howler monkeys — great tour at the preserve too. Lots of fun interacting with the monkeys and macaw — and seeing and petting the sloth,

Shonna gave us an awesome, full day, with a great introductionto Roatan's sights and culture. It was personalized to our group, and we felt safe and comfortable in her hands. We saw an impressive amount of things in the limited amount of time we had, without feeling rushed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day!

Sloth sanctuary is walking distance from Royal Caribbean Cruise port. The park is very small and a bit crowded. It they have a personal tour guide for each group to ensure everyone has the opportunity to interact with the animals.

This is our second time to roatan first time to see the sloth's, monkeys and MaCaws but once we got to the macaws we didn't get to hold them we held some tiny bird.
Disappointed
Also I have see many pictures and reviews from friends but this park was clearly not what they went to.
This place needs some TLC and much better organization.

The Chocolate place is a little house with crowded tourists, it is not a factory chocolate, not worth to have 40 mins back and forth , the Monkey/animals place is couple hundred meter from the cruise port, easy and better to walk because the tour make you to walk 1/2 mile to his parking, better to walk to the monkey/animal place by yourself

While our guide was nice enough I would rate this experience a three out of 10. I would rate the sloth and monkey portion a 1 out of 10. It only lasted for about 15 minutes and you could tell that they were only interested in pumping people in and out and asking for tips after 10 minutes of effort. It also looked like it was in someone's backyard. The rum experience and the chocolate experience were nice but they also felt like they were just stores so I don't know why you would pay extra money to go visit places that people can go into for free. I was pretty disappointed overall because my last experience visiting Roatan was really great and while it was certainly a tourist destination the tour that I went on made you feel like they really enjoyed having you and it was an overall better experience. I will dig up that old reservation so I can make sure I work through that company the next time. I would skip this one.

The whole day as great with our personal guide Daniel. As we drove all over the island Daniel gave us information about everything we were seeing and a history of the island. We saw the sloths, monkeys, parrots, and made other stops at the chocolate factory and the rum factory.

1. Mayan Eden where we were able to hold monkeys, Macaw parrots and a sloth plus view many other anumals that had been rescued from exotic pet trafficking. Wonderful place!
2. the Mayak Chocolate Factory. Great demonstration of how they make dark chocolate. Delicious samples!
