Meeting Location/Transport Information & Meeting Time: There are two Cruise Centers in Roatan. The directions for both locations are listed below. Please depart your ship one hour upon arrival to port and proceed to the designated meeting area listed below to check in with your representative. Mahogany Bay Cruise Center Directions: Exit the ship and walk up the main path into the shopping area. Continue past the fountains, through the shopping area, to the building with a red roof on the right. Enter that building and walk to the end where the white taxi's park. Make a left and walk up the hill. You will see a white gate. Go through the gate and down the hill. Your Detour Roatan Guide will be on the right with a Detour Roatan sign. The Guide will check you in and take you to your shuttle. Your Roatan Adventure is about to begin! Enjoy your day! Town Center/Coxen Hole Cruise Center Directions: Exit the Ship and walk in to the main shopping area. Look for the EXCURSION Booths where tours are sold. Look for the numbers & signs above the booths at the top. South Shore Adventures/Detour Roatan is the Booth Your Tour Guide will check you in and designate your party to the shuttles. A dangerous boat ride without any fishing

The trip should have been canceled! We hid in the mangrove trees from the lightning at the first stop and the next two stops were unfishable. The storm was dangerous and we never should have been out there. I was literally gripping the seat and saying prayers that we would make it back alive. No life jacket either. I maybe had 8 casts at the first stop, with seemingly never any hope of actually catching anything. The other stops were too rough and too muddy. The guide was nice, but it was a token trip to get his money. I asked for a refund but never heard back…

Our Captain was there on time for pick up, boats are required by law to carry life jackets and enforced by the marine park office and guards. You were out 3 and half hours total with multiple stops to cast. Unfortunately there is nothing we or the captain can do about rain but we had 4 other fly fishing charters that week under similar weather conditions and they didn't mention any prayers or issues. Those tours were completed on time with the same boat and captain that took you out. Please do not embelish or invent. Thank you!
