Wonderful evening. Santiago was extremely engaging, knowledgeable and eager to share this special Quito neighborhood. We loved the street murals and gallery visit as well as the delicious regional bites. Santiago’s extensive travel experience reflects a compassion and perspective beyond his years. We highly recommend this tour.

Don’t call it after dark food walk - it is not

    Susan_F, Dec 2025
I enjoyed walking through La floreasta looking at the graffiti and being taken to a shop selling pictures but I don’t appreciate this being a sales pitch. Also tackling it a foodie trip is cutting it a bit fine!! Went to three food cafes all we had was yuca done in three different ways - a sausage and this was based on the tour guides predilections - he loved his food grabbed food , ate quickly questioned my eating, this was certainly not worth the money. And there was only one cocktail which was nice in a cute cafe. And having to wait for Ubers in the pouring rain. And no other attendees only me. It was quite frankly awful!!

Restaurants you'd never find on your own

    Mike_o, Apr 2025
Great food and interesting street art. He tailored our meals to our dietary needs (no red meat) and it was fun to eat with the locals without a tourist in sight. My only negative is that it's expensive for 2.5 hours and street food.

    Excellent Tour - 100/10!

Best tour! My husband and I visited Quito on our way to Galapagos for our honeymoon. Santiago hosted us for a great walking, food, art, and cocktail tour. His passion for the city and culture really made an impact on us and we can’t wait to visit again!

Loved the art, the food and Santiago's company!

    Yvette_W, Feb 2025
Santiago introduced me to delicious local foods in unique locations. We were in the Floresta neighborhood of Quito which is full of great street art. We also visited a fun art gallery. Santiago is very knowledgeable about many subjects. We finished the night with a glass of warm wine, a local custom.

I unexpectedly traveled with my mom via Houston. lol. Upon the meetup, we were hosted by Santi! He was definitely informative, knowledgeable & passionate about his native country of Ecuador. During the tour he took us to several spots in which we enjoyed all the food & learned about local art, politics & culture. I highly recommend this tour & Santi as he will give & provide food for thought!!

    We loved “Quito after dark!”

    Sacha_N, Jan 2025
Santiago took us on a wonderful journey, starting with a gallery featuring well known and up-and-coming street artists (think Obey, who did the famous blue and red Obama poster which said “Hope.” We then walked through a lively part of the historic district, while he showed us murals and explained the significance, interspersed with delicious traditional food from different sites. He was engaging, interesting, and knowledgeable, and showed us a part of Quito that we would have never found on our own. We loved it, and our teens were thrilled. Thanks, Santiago!

    Great experience

Our guide Santiago was excellent. Loved the Street art and history of Quito. The food stops were excellent but the Andean Bubblegum was a bit tough to chew and swallow. lol

    Delicious and delightful evening

    Tony_N, Aug 2024
Amazing tour with lots of art to admire and few to purchase. Food was awesome getting to see a different part of Quito Pamela was awesome and even gave a few suggestions to check out in the area I stayed at.

    Artsy Quito!

Santi was so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about the different artists and seeing the murals throughout the city. We loved all the food that we had during the tour. The atmosphere and cocktails at the last stop were fantastic. Santi answers all your questions and knows the best spots for food. I highly recommend!

A taste of Quito night life

    ClareAnn_W, Jun 2024
After the recent security problems in Ecuador we were nervous about going out alone at night. This tour gave us a chance to explore Quito safely. We saw lots of street art, visited a small gallery and had 3 food stops before enjoying cocktails at a great bar. Santiago was very knowledgeable and a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and the tour.

What a great introduction to my first time in Quito! Daniella was very informative and enthusiastic about the art and food life in Quito. I was the only one on the tour and she made me feel very comfortable. I met so many lovely people and ate some really delicious authentic food. I opted for the hotel pick up and return, which Daniella used to provide extra insights to the different parts of the city.

Great introduction to Ecuadorian food and street art!

Food, Drinks, and Art by Night!

    Charlie_C, Nov 2023
This food, art and drinks tour was our first tour on our Quito vacation and what a way to start our time there. Our guide Santi was an awesome person to have show us around the la forestal neighborhood. We visited small restaurants, street food vendors and ended our night at a local speakeasy and had hot wine to conclude the night. Not to mention a stop at a local independent art gallery. Completely recommend, thank you Santi for a very enjoyable evening tours like this are why we travel.

    Great tour, would 100% recommend.

    Ann_V, Jun 2023
Santi was a great tour guide. He had so much knowledge to share about culture, art and cuisine. As well as enjoying incredible Ecuadorian street food we got to see many mural paintings and experience the vibrant arts community. We would take this tour again in a heartbeat!

    Excellent food tour in Quito

    Matthew_B, May 2023
Santi was a terrific guide and was able to show us several important pieces of local street art and murals. He also curated a fantastic collection of local dishes that were a good representation of what Ecuadorians (and Quitanians in particular) enjoy. I would highly recommend this tour.

    Great hyper local eclectic tour

    Rebecca_F, Apr 2023
This tour has a definite focus on street art and grass roots movements. Santiago was a fantastic guide, pushing us out of our comfort zone and showing us around the beautiful La Floresta neighborhood. If you don’t like street art, probably not for you. Good quantity of food and drink.

    Great street food tour!

    lalock3, Jan 2023
Daniella was a charming guide for our tour. We loved the locations she took us to, we would not have found these by ourselves. There was plenty of food to enjoy. We would absolutely recommend this tour, a great way to learn more about Quito. Thank you, Daniella!

A great way to spend an evening!

    Sharron_P, Nov 2022
I thoroughly enjoyed my street food tour. The night started with a warm drink and ended with dessert and a craft beer. In between was plenty of food tastings of typical Ecuadorian food. I did as a solo and had my own guide. We had good conversation and he was very willing to answer all my questions about life in Ecuador. I am sorry I can't remember his name but he was outstanding and I enjoyed learning about him.

Amazing authentic street food with Daniella

    Gabriel_H, Nov 2022
Daniella was a fantastic guide! she took us to 3 neighborhoods that we would never think of visiting otherwise, where she exposed us to street food that was unique, interesting, and delicious. We loved interacting with the cooks standing on the sidewalk working on their delicious offerings. We also loved the terrace bar in Guapulo with great views of the neighborhood. We do food tours in every city we go to. This was certainly the best one we have had!

    Laura_D, Oct 2022
We really enjoyed Daniella and she was very knowledgeable. We tried some local drinks and some crazy local food! Walked the streets of Quito and got lots of history. As much as we liked the guide and the experience we felt it was not a good value!

    Local Eats in Urban neighborhoods

    Elin_T, Oct 2022
Daniella was knowledgeable and personable! If you have difficulties walking or vision in the dark though, let her know ahead of time so she can be prepared with transportation as the streets and the many many stairs can at times be very steep, precarious and dangerous if you are not paying attention, if it is raining, or if you are affected by the altitude. Also, almost all of the tastes and drinks are not at the same time, so bring a bottle of water or something to drink as in several places you have only food and no drink and vice versa. Be prepared to stand while eating and drinking too, except for the 1st and last stop unless there is room inside the very small eateries. Food quality is very good but definitely street food so do not expect large plates of food or a sit down dinner experience. Don't worry though, you will not be hungry if you eat everything! My friends and I all tried food/drinks we had never had before with Daniella's encouragement so that was a good experience in Quito

    Muy divertido!

Daniella was superb, she created a fun memorable experience. We enjoyed her knowledge and personality immensely.
