Seeing the city and sampling food with Jimena was a great experience. Fun to mix history, culture and food together while exploring a new city. Jimena is very knowledgeable and also open to our request to visit a supermarket.

Our guide, Ximena, was very knowledge and brought us to some great places to try food, from a market for fruits and pulked pork plates to a truly magnificent been to bar Chocklatier. She us birn and raised in Quito and knows so much about the city.

Marcelo was a wonderful tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about so much not just food.
We had a great variety of experiences. We went to the farmer's market and sampled fresh fruits and local dishes at the food court. Then we went to the hill with Virgin Mary statue and sampled delicious empanadas and local drink canelazo at the food court there. Then headed to a great walking tour of old Town and experienced a chocolate shop that presented the history of Ecuadorian chocolate and of course had lots of yummy samples.

Luis was a fantastic guide and the tour was a balance of the Old city history, culture and architecture and food markets where we tasted fresh treats and watched the locals going about their everyday life.
Great introduction to Quito.

We had a great time on our private tour of old quito. Our guide was excellent!! We couldn’t be happier with our tour. We got to try so many new foods & learned not only about history of quito but also culture. Of note you will pay for the goods you choose to try but the cost of the street food is minimal. We had such a great time we recommended this tour to friends we met along our way in Ecuador.
