Very disappointed. Waste of money for what should have been a nice visit to a nice island.

The pickup was a mess. A bus was supposed to pick us up at 7am. A lot of back and forth resulted in the company sending a taxi to take us to a deserted parking lot. Very disorganized. Then on a bus to the boat with an unscheduled "bathroom" break for 30 minutes where we were encouraged to shop. All this meant that we lost about 1.5 hours so the tour timing changed. This was no VIP tour, VIP or small groups, just meant lots of smaller boats gathering in the same crowded places where we had to constantly move out of the way in the water, to make way for more boats. All pretty dangerous. First stop was very pretty, but crowded. Our tour guide Isaac, who seemed nice, spent 5-10 minutes taking pictures of us. No discussion of cost, but we knew it was coming..... The "Gastronimic Experience" with a "top chef" was a meal in a small restaurant on the island. It was precooked and self serve. Rice and beans, fried/baked chicken wings and what appeared to be canned veggies. There were flies everywhere so it wasn't a pleasant experience. We were offered frozen drinks. Found out as we left the restaurant that they were included in the price of the trip. Very sneaky. On the way to the next spot, the guide offered my wife the photos for $250 USD. She declined. The other family with use declined too. There was no snorkeling despite that being advertised. The boat captain and his first mate were nice, friendly and offered us drinks. The guide barely spoke and sat on the boat on his phone the whole time. Before the ride back, he asked what I'd be willing to pay for the photos. I offered him $50 USD. He declined and that was the end of it. We got back to shore. The guide left. Then we took the us back and had to give the driver directions as he didn't know which resorts we were at or where at the resort to drop us off. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The speed boat was extremely uncomfortable and I would not recommend it if you have back issues. We slammed into wave after wave on the way out. The way back was much smoother due to wind direction etc. The was no "beach time". We were in each spot for 30-40 minutes.

We paid for semi private. Stated less than 15 people would be on trip. We were on a catamaran with 50-100 people. We had fun but defiant did not get what we paid for.

The tour was nothing like advertised. We initially requested a pick up from our resort in Cap Cana. Evening before pick up we receive an email from the Jhoraji tour operator that they cannot pick us up from there and asked us to arrange transportation to get to Blue Mall in Punta Cana 15 minutes away. We were picked up by Darwin in a comfortable car, he was fantastic and very nice. We reached Bayahibe to board what we expected to be a private tour to Saona island as advertised. Instead we boarded like cattle onto multiple speed boats that were packed to capacity with 25+ passengers per boat. All 4 boats docked at Saona beach at the same time leading to an incredibly crowded beach. There was no guide to help navigate or explain anything except for the boats captains who were of very little help. They even tried to scam us by taking photographs of us and then requesting $170 for the pictures. There was difficulty figuring out who our shuttle driver was to drop us back at our pick up spot. After 10 minutes of asking around we got loaded on a big tour bus that was going to Punta Cana. The whole experience was very disorganized and completely opposite of what was advertised The positives were the actual beach which was beautiful including the water and the sand. It was crowded but that is understandable since we made the trip on 12/30 on a Saturday. The buffet lunch was quite good and had chicken, fish, rice, pasta and fruit. There was also an open bar with rum, sodas. Beer was available for an hour around the lunch buffet. Would not recommend

Teo was an incredible guide! The private tour with our family was well worth the extra $$. Our teenagers were super happy and actually didn’t complain — at all. This never happens. Amazing!! Gorgeous! Memorable.
