An unbelievable experience with an unbelievable tour group. From our driver Cesar safely getting us to and from the hotel, to Jose our tour guide being totally helpful and entertaining, to our photographers Chocolate 1 & 2!!! All in all a great experience and I recommend it 1000%

It is amazing. You see a beautiful island and get authentic food for lunch. it is a long day but absolutely worth it.

In general was ok, I like the animators who make us dance, everybody was so nice. I didn't like that was so many people on the boat. And that we were on the Saona island a little bit more time. We are used to travel alone with out own timing, so that's why was this trip a liitle bit out od our zone.

The tour was really well organized and so much fun! If you want the stereotypical Caribbean island with the teal waters, white sand, and big palm trees, this is the thing for you to do!

Excellent tour. Only change I would make is to get to the island only on fast boats as catamaran took about two hours and would have preferred to have those two hours on the island and water

Paid in full.
Picked up on time in a van. Driven 1 hour to another building. Waited 30 minutes to get on another van. Drove another hour to a store to spend money. Drove to boat where people were there to shake you down for cash.
Small boat. 15 people. Sea sick to blue lagoon. The lagoon was wonderful!
Back on boat to beach. What food was left sucked. My kids and I got almost nothing. Daughter is vegetarian. She got fruit. Wow!
Advice- be in front of the line or bring your own food.
Stay away from the cameras. They're another shakedown. We wanted a nice family day that turned into such a hassle.
We missed breakfast, lunch, and our dinner reservations. Totally overshot the alloted time. Won't do again!
Ended up spending almost $175 after we already paid $275 for the trip. Bummer!

Would not recommend to anyone unless you'd like to get scammed. We booked and they told us the day before that upon pick up they could not pick us up at our resort because they were not allowed through our security gate. A bit concerning no? So we went ahead and asked them what the reason was they did not give us a straight answer told us it was because of "certain resort policies" but our resort has let every other bus or van pick us up through the gate so I'd assume they are not a safe operator and aren't trusted by the resorts. After trying to convince them to pick us up from the main entrance they kept denying and telling us we will have to meet them outside of our gated area. If that dosent scream unsafe I don't know what does. Afterwards had a talk with Viator concerning the unsafe situation and they still to this day have no updates on my refund since the tour operator is ignoring them on this matter. HUGE MASSIVE SCAM

It was a pretty poor experience of 13 hours in total. No snacks on boat. 2 hours at beach. The rest of the time was waiting in bus or on boat. The food when we arrived for lunch was awful.

Don’t book with this company. Tour company did not pick us up so booked with company which was great. Island was awesome. Hope to get my refund soon.

I received an email around 9:30 pm on December 30th and a text message I thought was spam because it was to someone named Danielle. I am extremely upset that the agent took my credit card information confirmed my booking and she was not aware that this tour would not be available on January 1, 2025

It was great. We had a good amount of time in saona and in the natural swimming pool. The driving from Punta Cana and back to Punta Cana could have been way more organized tho.
The food served was really nice and the drinks were okay (although beer was only available for 1hr during lunch and that's all).
The woman in the end was a bit too awkward in the way she asked for tips. But in general, it was a great experience and the staff are very kind. Would recommend and even go again.

We did not realize that we'd get on one boat that would take us to another boat, which turned out to be a party boat. We sat on that boat, waiting for over an hour for more people to be dropped off. It was nauseating, just sitting there and bobbing in the water. It did not say this in the trip description. I thought we were getting on a boat that would take us directly to the destination. I had requested a gluten-free meal but did not expect it and of course, there was nothing. The food on the island can best be described as, no one got sick. Mass market food, you'll get your calories but please don't expect anything that's actually good. They make it to feed thousands a day. If you have dietary restrictions, bring your own, like we did. The swimming area and the island itself are nice but definitely not something we'd do again. The beach at our resort was just as nice.

The island is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. What I didn’t like is the numerous transportation transfer from shuttle to the bus and having to wait in the rain because the bus was not there to take us back on time. I also did not like transition from one catamaran to another boat as it was a safety hazard the way they transported us as the boaTwas wet and slippery. Overall, good party vibes on the larger boat and the island is stunning.

Buenas tatdes. Mira sé que es responsabilidad de uno cuidar sus objetos personales. Pero a la misma vez se supone que el personal que contratan es el correcto. A mí esposa en el tour que tuvimos, en el bus (transporte) que nos dejaba, en donde las bans nos recogía para dejarnos en los hoteles, se le quedó el celular. Y practicamente fuimos los últimos en bajarnos y cuando nos dimos cuenta de lo sucedido nos contactamos y nos dijeron que alli no había nada. Es increíble que este tipo de cosas sucedan, pues el turista es a quienes ustedes deben cuidar y fue una muy mala experiencia, porque nadie nos dio una respuesta.

Good afternoon. Look, I know it's one's responsibility to take care of personal belongings. But at the same time, the staff you hire is supposed to be the right one. During the tour we had, my wife left her phone on the bus (transport) that dropped us off and picked us up to take us to the hotels. We were practically the last ones to get off, and when we realized what had happened, we contacted you, and you said there was nothing there. It's incredible that this type of thing happens because tourists are the ones you should be taking care of, and it was a very bad experience because no one gave us an answer.

First the excursion was canceled due to weather, however the day it was scheduled the weather was perfect. Secondly, we never got picked up for excursion and was told we didn't reschedule...after I sceenshot proof, a mere apology after screwing up our last day here.

The island was beautiful, food was plentiful and good. the beach was amazing - water was calm. There was one vendor aggressive vendor who wouldn't take no for answer forms jewelry - even plain it on a females leg and refusing to remove it.

Natural pool was incredible experience. You can walk on ocean floor as water is 4-5 feet deep. Awesome experience for whole family. Take cheap sunglasses as speed boat ride can damage your sunglasses.

We were worried about this due to some of the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. It is definitely a long day, we were picked up at 7.40, had a gas station stop and picked up various other people. Didn’t get to Bayahíbe until 10, took a short walk to the port and got on the first boat at 10.30. I didn’t realise their would be so many boat transfers etc, this definitely took the longest about of time.
Atmosphere on the Cataraman going there was brilliant and lots of rum and soft drinks to be had, staff were great and got everyone dancing.
Arrived at the natural pool around 10.45, it was great. So lovely to swim in and was just beautiful.
Got to The island itself about 1.15 and it was incredible, so beautiful and lots to see. Lunch was good, I’m a fussy eater but had enough to eat. The best pina colada ever for $10 and lots of sunbeds! Left the island at 3.30.
The boat back was the longest, waiting around for people and the description said speedboat but it felt like forever and we weren’t going as quick as other speedboats. Then we had to hang around for a smaller boat to take us back to the port.
All in all, arrived back to the hotel around 8pm so a 12 hour day! But would do it again for the island, just be prepared for lots of hanging around. Worth it and good value too!

My wife and I are here in La Republica Dominicana and we are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. This is our second time going to Isla Saona and my fourth time going overall. The whole day was absolutely perfect from the driver to the guides, everyone was very accommodating and a pleasure.

Probably the worded organized tour I been in Punta Cana. We spent the 30 min waiting for pick up when operator told us that they will only 5 min and we are not at pick up point they will leave us and I will loose my money. We travelled to Bayahibe and again no organization everyone was just waiting to see what happen. Going back no meeting point to call from guide. Multiple people upset

Everything was good, bys was comfortable, boat party was great to the island, blue lagoon was insane place to swim, I wish we were taken first there or more time provided. Only issue I had, at the time of coach and bus change, I went to quick restroom and told them going to toilet, but I saw they left me, so I had to run far to catch, guide even did not count the number of people should be there, it was frustrating and other guests were mad that they left me behind with out waiting, it was annoying

Really great trip, saw popular places with a lunch on a paradise island and great bachata music. Also bought great pictures taken on the beach. We danced on a catamaran on the way back with some drinks. Amazing trip

It was a very long day, but that was to be expected. I was a little hesitant about booking this excursion, because of some of the reviews I have seen, but as long as you know that the day is going to be long, and there really isn’t so easy of a way to do all the things you’re going to do, many other ways without taking time to travel there, it will be amazing! I loved it, my kids loved it, and for the amount of money you are paying, it is an excellent excellent value. Something to be remembered.

Our guide Jose was wonderful, the party boat lots of fun and Saona is beautiful! The buffet lunch was delicious. A very fun and full day that lets you see more of the region. We want to go back and spend time in Bayahibe!

We were told this was a 9 hour day...ended up being 13 hours. Traveling with children 5 & 8 years old, this is too long to go with only lunch served. We were crammed like sardines in a boat for the first 40 minutes and there was a total of 2 hours of water time. No snorkeling equipment was offered to anyone although we brought our own. Also, not a lot to see snorkeling on a sandy beach.

Our group leader Jose was ok to explain things but not as attentive to the guests or their needs.
Photographer Jordan (Snoop Dog) was fantastic.
The warm, sunny beach of Saona and the beautiful crystal blue waters breathtaking.
Ok now the not so good:
Bus was a little late for pick up at our resort. The email says you don’t need anything but failed to mention have your ticket. Some of the vents were broken on the bus which had a/c but we were freezing especially the drive home. All the stops picking up other people also too long but understood.
Once we got to the port which is around an hour we had to walk to get on the boat then wait in line for a bathroom which only had 2 small washrooms. No handwashing stations. Lots of vendors selling water proof cases, hats, bags etc.
We stood around a long time to board our boat and several other tour groups arrived after us and left before us. No explanation other than they are getting our boat ready. Then when we finally boarded the catamaran we were the last of 3 groups on and there was no good seating left. Disappointed. Then nothing for us to drink even if we wanted some alcohol as all they had for mix was pop. Juice would be a nice option for people who don’t drink pop. Snacks would also be nice options.
Entertainment on the catamaran fantastic.
We arrived at Saona after approx 1 hr 45 minutes to find that we would be the last group off the catamaran and we were one of the last few groups already arriving for the day.
Not nearly enough loungers in each section as we were again the last group to our section of 2/3 groups. Super long line up for the buffet meal which had good options. Food was hot and delicious but should’ve had more options.
Again the bar on the island only had pop for mixing. How hard would it be to have juice or a punch?
Would be nice to know there are other services offered for purchase. Photographer extra cost (worth the money)

Not a lot of communication from the group staff while we were on the island.
The trip home on the speedboat we had a couple intoxicated people and the boat was too crowded.
Stopped at the starfish sanctuary and the water was fairly deep, cold and you couldn’t see anything. At this point we were freezing and then still had another 30-40 minutes sitting on a speedboat with water splashing all over you. Very cold ride back to port.
Once we arrived back another long line for the tiny bathrooms, then walk to the parking lot to find NO BUS. Another wait of 20-30 minutes. Had to purchase snacks from the local vendors.
Finally got on the cold, crowded bus at approx 6:30 didn’t arrive to our resort til 8:40pm. After getting on the bus they am passed back bottles with our photos on them as a souvenir but they were $15. At this point we felt it was just over the top and didn’t make us want to tip anymore. It was the longest, coldest ride ever.
Would love the Saona island experience again but without all the terrible events.
