It’s going to get dirty. Bring shades and bandanas to cover face. If not, they’ll sell you some there. My husband and my 2 teenage daughters felt safe. They go and pick you up at your location, Take you to the place to explain some things, and advertise some pictures and video. We just did pictures. Price was reasonable. Then we got on the buggies and drove to our 1st stop the coffee and chocolate local house. You can also buy some. Next drive to our 2nd stop the cenote. Sadly it was more of a jump and come out to allow the next group. But really fun, water was cold. Bring some cash they sell drinks and food. Then drive to our 3rd stop Macao Beach. You have about 20 minutes to swim and buy something to drink or eat. Through this whole adventure you will be getting muddy while you drive. Finally we return to the buggy location and wash off, and they show you the pictures. They emailed us our pictures. We loved our pics. Everything was fast but fun. My family and I enjoyed it.

    Santo Domingo in go cart

Be prepaired to wait for two hours before you leave the buggie launch. Everything takes so much time the places like the cave and beach places you actually want to be at will be rushed. It is like driving in Santo Domingo i never once got to open up the buggie because bumper to bumper buggies and semi trucks active traffic and other buggie companies using the exact back country. I am not kidding.

    100% recommend

The experience was amazing! We had a private tour because we were the only ones that spoke English. Our tour guide was straightforward, but a little impatient. The people at each stop were pushy, but going into it with that understanding helps. The cave was amazing, but not long enough for a stop. Be prepared to get super muddy😂 The beach water is extremely salty, but feels amazing. We used the regular buggy, and I think that made the experience way better than had we upgraded. I’d recommend the basic buggy Ask for prices on the island for drinks. They wanted to charge $35 (American dollars) per drink, without alcohol. They are very pushy. The tour guide was awesome in the beginning, but became extremely pushy and rude as we were finishing our time on Macao beach. Very disrespectful, but overall, we had fun.

    We got a great experience...

We got a great experience and while we did get upselled, it wasn't forced. Great experience with the buggy, ATV, and blue hole

Great Idea but Rushed & Transport SUCKS!

    Shamiara_A, Sep 2024
The idea of the excursion was great but rushed you got ten minutes at the cave and 15 minutes at the beach. The transportation that picked us up from the resort was 30 minutes late, the AC did not work, and they had the van packed to capacity with not even an inch of elbow room.

Getting muddy was fun. Wish we could have gone to the beach. We can from St Louis!!!!!!!!! We loved this buggy.

Pick up from hotel was great but when we got there to the place we waited 2hrs before everything got started. Prepare to walk and be very very dirty. We didn’t get back to the hotel until 7:30pm we got picked up from hotel at 2pm

    A time was had

A time was had. Def recommend 10 out of 10. I just wish it were a little longer. 3 stops on tour in total but you really don’t get to feel the culture and ppl. I do understand other groups are waiting it is a business. In all i’d def go back 3 times.

Do your self a favor and pay extra elsewhere

The trip was DEFINITELY memorable as the worst excursion I’ve ever done… Transportation pick was excellent I will say that. However the organization is a complete joke. We had a total of 3 buggies and we broke down like 15 times I’m not even exaggerating.. our tour was suppose to last 3 hours and it lasted 7 hours we felt very much cheated out of the experience because we were rushed at the cave dive and the beach with a time limit of 10 minutes each… Out tour guide was great I will give him that credit because he truly deserves it. Do your self a favor and book with caution and at 8am definitely don’t do the 2pm tour unless you want to get back at 9pm….

    Save your money

Very unorganized. We sat around for over an hour and a half when we got there. The buggies were breaking down everywhere, one actually split in half. Everyone was saying this was the worst part of our vacation

We did start the excursion 1 hour later then the start time but overall it was a fun and exciting experience! You will get very dirty from riding buggie but can always wash up by jumping into the cenote or the beautiful Macao Beach. Tour guides were very helpful as well. Recommend! 🩵
