They were over 15 minutes late for pick up at both locations. Vehicles were not in good condition and one of the drivers was very reckless.

Was not picked up. Spent over an hour trying to find someone else I believe was honest to get us to our hotel. No communication before our arrival if they needed any info from me but took the money though. Go figure....When I called a viator rep, they were useless. Couldn't understand them and they seem to not care of the delimma I was having.

Who provides the ride?

Be sure Viator provides the name of the transport company. Our flight was late and there were no name plaquards waiting us. We had a tough time figuring out who was providing our ride. The other local taxi and van drivers were very helpful.

Extremely hard to find our ride

It was extremely difficult to find our ride. It took several airport employees to help us find the correct vehicle and driver. Several phone calls were made in the effort. However, once our driver was located, The trip was very smooth and our driver was pleasant and an excellent driver.

We usually get private transportation, particularly if we are pressed for time or it's a new country for us. We do this to eliminate stress, particularly regarding missing a flight which would cause us to miss a connection and other downstream appointments. With the help of an agent at Viator we booked the same company for our return trip to the Punta Cana airport as had picked us up and brought us to our hotel a week prior. They confirmed that they would be there at 10 am and indeed did not show up at their prescribed time. Fortunately there was a taxi available which we took after waiting 15-20 minutes without any word, even after trying to reach the company for arrival status. Had they given us a quick call or text saying they were running a bit late we would have understood and stuck with it. Not knowing if they perhaps screwed up the order we chose to go with the taxi. This is our second such instance in over 30 years of world travel. We never used the first one again and certainly have no intent to use this particular company again either.

Best regards We had arranged for his pick-up three and a half hours before his flight to have an hour and a half of time for him not to drop off the flight. I recognize that my driver arrived late, but he arrived when you were getting into the taxi, I have experience that the porters when they see an inexperienced customer motivate him to take a taxi to receive a commission from the taxi, 10 seconds that they would have waited to take his transport. I apologize again but you coordinate the departure time to arrive early at the airport even if any inconvenience arises.

Do not recommend this company. I reached out before our trip and asked how we would find them at the airport. I was told they would have a sign with our name on it. This did not happen. It was very difficult to find them and we were getting inundated with taxi drivers and others trying to help us with our luggage and give us a ride. A man then approached and said he would help us. I showed him the transfer company name and said he would find them. He came back a few minutes later with a man who he said was our representative. I would not go with them until I saw that they had something showing my name and our reservation. It was stressful trying to figure out if we were being scammed or not. The ride to our hotel was fine and our driver was good. For the return trip to the airport we were told they would pick us up at 2:20pm for a 5:00pm flight. They did not show up at 2:20pm. At 2:40pm I attempted to call the company. Thankfully our hotel bellhop spoke with the company for us. They were trying to find a driver in our area. 5-10 minutes later we got a return text saying the driver was 9 minutes away. Clearly they had forgotten to schedule a driver for our return trip. The driver was fine and the trip to the airport was fine. By the time we got there it was 3:45pm. Thankfully the airport was not busy at all and we were at our gate by 4:15pm for 4:25pm boarding. We plan to return to the Dominican Republic again, and we will definitely not use this company.
