Did not meet expectations

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this tour. I had high expectations of excellent snorkeling along with seeing some nurse sharks and sting rays. I understand they need to keep the wildlife in a fenced area. However, there were so many people on this excursion that you were constantly kicked. Additionally, they had children on this excursion who were poor swimmers and could not navigate the waves. This was frustrating. I don't now if I have a higher expectation from other countries or if this is the standard for the DR. The staff was very kind and customer service oriented.

Other than not being notified on when they were going to pick us up and having to scramble and pay a taxi to get us there, we had an amazing time. The crew was great. Snorkeling was a blast and my whole family had fun. We enjoyed dancing on the boat and then meeting up with other boats and going to the sandbar. I'd do it again! Thank you!

Really cool snorkeling with the sharks and rays. Great reef nearby with tons of fish! I would have preferred more time at the marinarium and less time at the "pool". It wasn't waist deep. It was about 4 feet deep!

The crew was very nice and entertaining. However, the actual snorkeling part was very hurried and only a very small part of this excursion. We felt rushed through and 80% of the time we were just cruising around on the boat. The pictures we paid $30 additional for only had 6 pictures of us and over 100 of strangers we don’t know. I wouldn’t recommend this excursion for these reasons. I have also made our travel agent aware of this as well.

Feels cheated!

I booked trip for my kids and according my booking transportation was included then I contacted with company twice about transportation no one mentioned about additional fees , at the morning of the tour I got email about 45$ transportation fee ,at this time it’s was too late to cancel the trip . It’s was very disappointing! Feels cheated! Trip it self was fine

Regarding the confusion about transportation, the additional fee that we need to pay cannot be included in the regular price as it needs to be pay directly to the transportation company. The snorkeling with the sharks and...

The snorkeling with the sharks and stingrays was very cool. The guides didn't do much to help figure out snorkeling, but I've gone a few times before so I wasn't terrified of the breathing. However, I could tell many others were struggling. The food was a small ham and cheese sandwich, and the drinks were limited to vodka or rum. The staff was hysterical with their pulling people up to dance to all types of dancing typical American top 40 and typical Caribbean. I wish the trip was slightly longer, because the 30 minutes of snorkeling for a 3 1/2 hour excursion seemed rushed, but there weren't many things to look at other than small numbers of small fish and the 4 nurse sharks and 2 or 3 stingrays in the roped off area.
