What a brilliant time we had there, the tour guide wasn’t settled unless he knew that everyone was having a brilliant time. The atmosphere was amazing and the communication this company has to offer to guests booking on this trip regarding transfers is 10/10. The food was delicious and the island was spectacular! if we were going back to this island we would 100% book back with this company.

Aesthetically beautiful but that’s it !

Jessie_G, Mar 2026
We didn't particularly enjoy our excursion to Sanoa Island. From the pickup to the transfer and the 2 hour ride to the wharf we were crammed into little vans and it was scorching hot . There wasn’t enough seats for everyone and some ppl were left behind . Once arriving we waited quite a bit before being able to board the boat , once we board we were taken about 15 minutes out where we had to transfer to the catamaran in the middle of the water - it was unpleasant. Once aboard the catamaran it was beautiful but then almost immediately we were bothered and pretty much forced into taking photos from The “ professional” photographers on board . We denied and said no thank you 25 times but they took us by the arm and placed us in a pose and started taking our photos . We did not like that one bit . We just wanted to me left alone to relax and enjoy the cruise . The catamaran bar SUCKED , they only had dark rum with cola or sprite. That’s it Once we arrived at the “ natural pool “ it was absolutely beautiful…but… once again the photographers starting taking our pictures . They would not take no for an answer . We stayed at the natural pool for maybe 20-30 mins . Once we arrived to Sanoa Island it was very beautiful. First thing we did was have lunch , in my opinion it was terrible food ( and I’ve been enjoying resort food very much! And I’m not picky at all) I just did not enjoy the food on the island at all! We were not given any drinks at all , we went searching for water and found it at another little hut. While trying to eat what we could the locals started ….none stop for time we were on the island someone was trying to sell us something. Over and over and over they were all around us trying to sell us pineapples , jewelry , sun hats etccccc literally anything . It was soooooooo annoying it literally took all our time and we couldn’t even enjoy the island . Not that it mattered much because The water was soooo rocky and full of sharp shells etc that we couldn’t even go barefoot in the water. I don’t even want to go into the photographers …..they came to sit with us and showed us all the pics they took and wouldn’t leave until we bought them !! Selling them at $10USD , and they took 74 pics of me and my daughter ! They bugged and bugged and would not leave us alone until we bought them. I did not have enough cash to buy them …but no worries …. HE CAME BACK TO THE RESORT WITH J US…..to get his money !!!!!! Overall everything was beautiful aesthetically but that’s about it . Everything else was HORRIBLE . We did not enjoy it ! There’s a lot more to it but I already wrote so much so I’ll leave it at that

Good afternoon, Ms. Jessie, First of all, we want to thank you for sharing your experience with us, as it allows us to clarify some important points about your excursion. Regarding the transportation that picked you up at your hotel, we would like to inform you that it was a vehicle with a capacity for 35 passengers, which meets all the standards for comfortably transporting that number of people. In fact, these vehicles often travel with fewer passengers, but no one is ever left without a seat. We regret that we cannot show you a photograph of it through this medium, but you can rest assured that it meets the required capacity. Regarding the transfer to the catamaran, it is important to explain that, due to the weight of these vessels, no company can anchor them directly on the shore, as this would pose a risk. For this reason, a transfer by boat is made from the shore to the catamaran, which is located a few meters offshore. This is a standard procedure for all excursions of this type. Regarding the photographers, as you can see in the tour description, they are independent companies operating at the destination and are not part of our company. We regret that you had an unpleasant experience with them. As for the local vendors, they are people who live on the island and earn a living by offering their products to visitors. It is important to remember that you are under no obligation to buy anything you don't want. This is common in virtually every tourist destination in the world and is part of the cultural experience of each place. Regarding lunch, we would like to remind you that we offer a Dominican buffet on the beach, which is different from the dining experience at a resort. While the hotel has industrial kitchens and a wide variety of options, the tour aims to offer a more authentic experience closer to the beach, in a natural setting away from the resort's amenities. Indeed, when guests are looking for more tranquility and wish to avoid these types of interactions, we always recommend enjoying the resort's facilities. However, on any excursion you book, whether in the Dominican Republic or any other destination, it's common to find local vendors offering their products, as part of the culture and daily life of each region. We appreciate your feedback again and hope that, despite these inconveniences, you were able to enjoy some pleasant moments in the beautiful natural surroundings the island offers. We remain at your disposal for any further questions.

A spectacular destination overshadowed by an unsafe and low-quality tour

Ricardo_C, Jan 2026
Our experience on this tour was very bad and deeply concerning. The photographer “Lucy” (photographer #157) behaved in a threatening, intimidating, and completely inappropriate manner. From the beginning, when we chose not to hire her services, she reacted with hostility, as if we were obligated to pay for something we did not want. No guest should ever be pressured or intimidated for declining an additional service. The situation escalated during the tour when she began to directly threaten my wife, stating that we would have to pay for her camera because her backpack was on the floor in the area where we sat. She repeatedly insisted, while staring at us in a confrontational manner, that we would be responsible for her equipment allegedly getting wet. This behavior was unacceptable and alarming, and it made us feel unsafe for the remainder of the tour. People with this kind of behavior should not be working in tourism, as it completely ruins the experience and creates an environment of tension and insecurity for visitors. It is important to note that Manuel, our guide, and the drivers were kind and professional at all times, and that the destination itself is truly beautiful. However, this does not make up for what happened. I do not recommend this tour under any circumstances: the treatment was unprofessional, the rum provided was of very poor quality, and the transportation times were excessively long and unnecessary.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Good morning, Mr. Ricardo: Thank you for sharing your review and letting us know what happened. As you could verify in our product description, the photography service is provided by an external company that works with the boat company, so it is not part of our operation. However, this in no way justifies the experience you describe. We will formally submit your complaint to the boat company so they can investigate what happened directly with the photography company, comparing both versions of the events. We are pleased to know that our guide, Manuel, and the drivers fulfilled their duties in a professional and friendly manner, as they are our direct responsibility. Regarding the transportation times you mention, we inform you that the logistics of hotel pickup, transfer to the meeting point in Bayahibe (50 minutes away), and the boarding procedures authorized by the authorities are the standard operating protocol that all regular tour companies must follow to ensure safety and organization. For those seeking a more direct experience, we offer the private tour option, which avoids pickup stops and reduces waiting times. We thank you again for your comments, which allow us to improve. We deeply regret that incidents with an external service have affected your overall perception of the tour. We remain at your disposal.

12 hour trip was disorganized

Margaret_E, Jan 2025
This trip has the potential to be a 10 out of 5 but it was so poorly executed. Viator REALLY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT TOUR OPERATORS WHO GET BAD REVIEWS AND THEN JUST MAKE ANOTHER PROFILE! So firstly there were several postings of the same tour, I think that they are all the same group. This excursion took 12 hours and I still don't know the name of the company!!! Let me start by saying the people operating the tour SPOKE LITTLE TO NO ENGLISH! This was difficult and dangerous when we were on the boat getting to the boat etc! How it started: I was sent a message on whatsapp with a photo and a description of the car and driver who would be picking me up from the hotel and taking me to a meeting point -had no idea if this was the boat or another vehicle! My resort would not let the driver in so we had to go outside and meet the driver, someone called me on whatsapp and informed of this in English. At 7:30am Go to meet the driver in a minivan with 3 other tourists. My 8 year old autistic son was with my husband and I. We go to a parking lot of a large souvenir store. We weren't able to have breakfast due to the early pick up time, the store only sold chips and cookies that my son didn't want. we had to wait for 45 minutes for a larger bus to arrive to take us to the boat. I was annoyed from this point on. The bus drove us for a little over an hour to Bayahibe there we exited the bus and met Scooby-Doo our guide who spoke very little English. We were given green pieces of string to tie around our wrists for identification and then we were given white wristbands for entry into the park. We were then escorted through the crowded busy streets with cars and trucks going every direction to the beach where boats were located. We waited in the sun on that MFin beach for 1 hour! By this time it was after 11am and still no food, there were food places around but we had no idea that the wait would be so long so we just stood there. Finally 55 of us were loaded on to a boat. Instructions were given in spanish and then there was very little english instructions! We were then taken to the natural pool, It was beautiful, the bar consisted of Rum and coke and sprite. They did have photographers and we got beautiful family and individual photos, 31 photos cost us $90 USD. We only had 35 minutes at the natural pool. Then off to the Isla Soana. Once there we had to wait for a smaller boat to take us to the island, speedboat took us to the island, once on the island the buffet was not ready and once it was there was a line and servers spoke no english so for meat I was unable to get pork and I don't eat chicken. We did not get food until 1:30pm! The tour said lobster would be available for purchase, we found the lobster and bought 2 for $50USD, they took forever to prepare them and we got little to no time in the water. The water was wull of rocks of various sizes so wasn't really safe for my son. Then we were called back to the speed boat after 2 hours. The speedboat took us to a large catamaran that was fun but I was so annoyed and pissed off at this point I couldn't really enjoy it. Both large boats played spanish music only. Then once we returned to Bayahibe we had to get on yet another speed boat to shore!!!! All this boat changing happened in the water which was scary especially with my child but we made it and didn't lose anything. Once back in Bayahibe we got back on our bus by this time it was 5:45pm. They offered us personalized bottles of mamajuana with our pictures on it for $20 USD this was a really cool souvenir but we had no more cash because we spent it all tipping the various boat ppl!!! I also left my credit cards at home because I thought that I had carried enough cash! Anyway we drive back to Punta Cana in the large bus and the driver puts us out at an intersection to meet yet another minivan driver to go to our hotel! By this time it is 7pm and it is dark! The final driver speeds along over taking cars on the dark road! The final driver got on to the property with no problem and dropped us off at 7:40pm. I've never been so hungry in my life!!!! The waters are beautiful and the tour operators are nice but the language barrier was very difficult to overcome. Also the long time without food was hard to deal with on vacation. This excursion was hard work and I was hungry and tired after 12 hours in the streets of DR!

Response from Host, Jan 2025

Good morning Mrs. Margaret. Clarifying the first point is that about the profiles (The operators are not the same as those of the clients. No operator can open several profiles since as a tour operator we are required to have a Tourism License, civil liability insurance and certification of commercial registration, and RNC. Each document of these is unique, so it is impossible for the same company to obtain several profiles. The business profiles are not like those of people who can open one with a simple email. We as operators are required to have documentation. Here in the DR there are many tour operators (Remember that the DR is a tourist country) About how long it took to get to your hotel, your Nickelodeon hotel is in Uvero Alto so it is the furthest from the area. About the photos, it is another separate company so it has nothing to do with our company so it is up to the client whether or not they want to buy the photos, the same as the lobster. About the guys who serve food, they are there to serve the food since they are locals who live on the island and work there. If you have any questions, the guide is available. We have 3 guides, one for each group. It is strange that he says that the guide hardly spoke English, even though our guides have been with our company for 12 years with their membership card from the guide association, which requires several languages. Regarding the wait in the shop, this is the meeting point for the clients who come from all the hotels. About the weather in the natural pool, it is the established time

Tour

Mariana_F, Sep 2024
The tour guide Manuel was great, the island is beautiful and the natural swimming pool was amazing . However , food was ok. No matter which tour company you purchase from everyone eats at the same Buffett lunch . The boat ride on the speed boat is very uncomfortable they packed 40 people in the speed boat and catamaran ride was awesome As we had a lot of room to move around and dance . Transportation is a hassle , however, to be expected if you don’t pay for the private transport. We were picked up at 7am , waited at a gift shop for over an hour . Another bus came to get us and drove us to the port . I suggest if you are able to, Uber to the meeting point . Overall it was a great time .

Response from Host, Sep 2024

Hello Mrs. Mariana, thank you for your review. We remind you that the pick-up times from hotels depend on the location and you were at the Finest Punta Cana which is in Uvero Alto, almost 40 minutes from the meeting point. For this reason, your pick-up is one of the first due to how far it is. If you use Uber, they will charge you an arm and a leg to take you to the meeting point, but this excursion includes free pick-up and return to your hotel. Regarding the Gaoida boat, each boat goes with the people for which it is qualified.

Not like

moshe_b, Aug 2024
A busy beach that feels like a motorboat parking lot between bathers. Transportation in old and uncomfortable vehicles

Response from Host, Aug 2024

Greetings, remember that this beach is not private, it is a beach managed by the Dominican state where more people go to enjoy it. And each company has its own boats.

Anniversary trip

Nacoya_H, Aug 2024
The view was amazing the island people were so kind. The view was beyond amazing. The food was fantastic

Once in a lifetime enjoyment

723rlap, Jul 2024
Wonderful experience however, organizers need to plan better. On our way back, a group of tourists were left behind. Tour guide (Manuel) decided to wait for missing group.

Response from Host, Jul 2024

Greetings, Thank you for your review. Customers are called to tell us we are leaving. And Manuel, it is your job to wait for them since Manuel is part of our organization staff.

Excelente

Its was amazing had lots of fun the tour guys were 10/10 would deff recommend to anyone looking to party and have fun!

Fun Family Day

Nadia_R, Jul 2024
Great experience. Amazing day full of fun and adventure. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Tour guides were helpful and supper funny!! Worth every penny!!

Response from Host, Jul 2024

thank you so much. You will always be welcome in the DR

Not worth it

Nafis_V, Jun 2024
The day was extremely long and not worth your time. The natural pool is better than the actual island. The employees were harassing us with taking photos of my husband and i with their camera and then telling us to pay for it at the end of trip. That ruined our entire mood and enjoyment of the trip. When we Denied the photos they started talking bad in spanish. I understood everything even though im american. Never again. I want my money back

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Greetings, Thank you for your review. Excuse me but if you were able to see the description before booking you could read that the photographers do not belong to our company but rather it is an external company that pays the government to go on the water transports which. The client is not obliged to buy the photos with a simple will not solve everything. Therefore, your review is out of place since we have nothing to do with the photographers, we invite you to go back to the product descriptions where it says external company. Regarding the fact that they spoke badly in Spanish, that is strange because I had never heard this. About what you want your money back, We company pays the Dominican state tax for each person who embarks to go to the island (that is, we pay for you and your husband) you also had lunch on the Island (which is at our expense). account) so your justification is not valid for a return. Since the photographers are not from our company and with a simple "I'm not going to buy photos" it was resolved.

You Get What You Pay For

Faranne_M, Jun 2024
Like many others stated, there is a lot of time spent waiting to actually get to the island. The boat ride to the island is jam packed but tolerable. They’ll offer you beverages and music for for entertainment. You’ll make a stop to get off and get in the water. Understand though this is not snorkeling, just standing in the water. As you continue traveling to the island, there will be staff who offer to take your pictures. I agreed and was given a personal photoshoot on the boat. They don't show you the pics until you get to the island (I assume for editing purposes). The island itself was beautiful. Definitely overly crowded but there is enough seating and beach area for all. They offered food, which was surprisingly delicious. Options included bbq pork steak, spaghetti, bread, salad and fruit. They also sold blended cocktails straight out of a pineapple. You spend about 2hrs on the island to relax on the chairs or hang out in the ocean. I was presented with my photos from the shoot on the boat. There were 78 images to scroll through. Jacob was my photographer and while I did appreciate his assistance with captioning my images, I am heavily disappointed in the poor customer service I received when the paying for my images. He told me could give me all 78 for $140 or $10/piece with a min. of 5. I ended up choosing 6 (so $60). He immediately airdropped the images to my iPhone and said I would pay back at the port. Once we reached the port, I was instantly approached by a different man who said I owed $60 for the pictures. I used a card to pay but it wasn’t until 3 days later (after returning home from my trip) that I see the charge on my account was for $81. Even IF, they charged a service fee for using a card instead if cash, that’s almost 34% which is insane. They took advantage of the situation and for that I’m extremely upset. I will say, Manuel was the host throughout the entire day and he was exceptionally friendly. He explained how the day would play out and continued to check in on me (1 of maybe 3 who only spoke English). Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend but just make sure you have cash on hand.

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Greetings. Thank you for your review if you can verify in our specific description that the photos are a separate company. The photographers do not work for our company since it is a separate company that pays the boat owners to be there. Regarding the photos, it is not mandatory to buy them either since they take photos and the clients choose or not. About our host is MANUEL who is the guide and operative. About Snorkeling, this tour does not include SNORKELING and where you indicate that they were heard and that it was low, that is the natural pool, all the companies stop there but they are not there to do Snorkeling since this tour does not include it. If you could send me a private message, I would appreciate it so I can send you the phone number of the owner of the company of the photos.

12hr trip with only 2 hours on the island

Jamila_R, Jun 2024
Definitely was not what I was expecting from this tour. We got picked up on time from the hotel at 7:55am and the driver drove the a gas station where we waited for others and made 2-3 more stops after that. We got picked up at 7:55-am and from all the stops and stalling around we did not get to the beach until 1:30pm. Soon as we got there they served lunch which was just regular food not even Authentic Dominican food (mashed potatoes, canned spaghetti, and a piece of chicken and pork chop) we were told we have until 3:30pm and then we’d have to get back on the boat to leave… We were only given 2 hours of actual beach time. The beach was a mess there was garbage everywhere and a lot of local people trying to sell you things and couldn’t even relax on the beach chair. We left at 3:30 on the dot and didn’t get back to the hotel until 7:45pm… 12hr trip and only got 2 hours on Saona Island. Would not book this again and don’t recommend anyone to book this if you just want to be on the island all day relaxing because that’s not what you’re going to get. I was mistaken.

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Greetings ma'am, thank you for your review. The first thing is that your Hard Rock hotel is one of the furthest from the Punta Cana area and this hotel is closer to the MACAO area. Regarding the journey to the island, we remind you that the pick-up is collective, so it is not a private tour. On the road to BAYAHIBE, which is where we embarked, it is 40 minutes from Punta Cana, not an hour and a half as described. about arriving at the island at 1:30 pm it is not true since the time to the island by speed boat is 45 minutes and if I return by catamaran it is 1 hour (it is always the same tour route nothing changes) about The vendors on the beach are locals who live on the island and make a living this way selling things to survive, which we cannot prohibit because the beach is public and directed by the Dominican government. But customers are not obliged to buy from them. About the garbage on the beach it's very strange since the Ministry of Tourism lives above the beach cleaning it day by day. Regarding food, we do not have puree on our menu. And we don't have a buffet like the one at your hotel since the hotel can have thousands of varieties, but on the Island it is difficult. We hope that next time your expectations are met. Of all the excuses we had yesterday on this tour, the only complaint we had was yours. If you want something more private, I recommend a private tour for you and your partner, private transportation (not collective), a private boat for you (not collective), only that on the beach you will not be able to be alone because it is a public beach managed by the government. thank you

Very recommended tour!

Suzana_B, May 2024
Very easy communication with a representative after a booking. Manuel (tour guide) and whole team did an amazing job hosting us and making us feel special. We really enjoyed the Island, 2-2.5 hours with lunch, natural pool 30-45 minutes...and a lot of rum.

Worth the money

Maisy_W, May 2024
Great experience, beautiful place and very well organized. Our driver and tour guide were excellent. We had so much fun!

It’s just ok

henry_C, Apr 2024
The water and sand are beautiful , but the food area and bathrooms are horrible , dirty and unkept what a shame !

Response from Host, Apr 2024

Good morning Mr Henry, this area is always maintained. but remember that it is an Island and that the salt on the beach kills everything. Every month the entire area is painted but the salt from the beach makes things a little ugly. Even an iron that you put in the sand and go look for it the next day will no longer have the same color.

We enjoyed the island....

lizetolguin1, Apr 2024
We enjoyed the island. The drinks were not what they promised. But food was ok. The beach was nice..

Response from Host, Apr 2024

Greetings, the drink is only National Rum (not beers) but if the client wishes they can bring them. There are no restrictions for this

I will be suing the cruise ship.I was drugged on cruise

Melissa_N, Apr 2024
Be very careful I was drugged on there cruise. They don’t like Americans. The food was trash and the boat is very small and also stole my money and my shoes once we were told to get off and go swimming in the ocean. Then I was drugged and arrested by there police.and it’s not open bar they walk around with shots of very cheap rum .please be careful I was there February 2024.They were desperate, begging for money also.I would not recommend this cruise to anyway please be safe. The most scary experience I ever had in fact no American should travel there water is gross and food it’s very sad.

Response from Host, Apr 2024

Greetings Mrs. Melissa. I remember her case not because you say that they drugged her (which is totally false, you are raising slander to cause harm) I am going to give you an account of that day. That day you drank too much, anyone who is not used to this rum will get drunk since it has a higher alcohol level than that of any country. Remember that you were making a fuss with your brother at a private gas station where you were beating your brother. First you accused him of throwing away your passport, then you checked to see if he had the passport, then you accused him of leaving your flip-flop in the beach. Each client must pay attention to their things is the first thing the guide tells them. When we arrived in Punta Cana after the excursion, we were at a gas station and you entered the vehicle to hit your brother. Then he got out and you were hitting him. The owners of the gas station called POLITOURS since you were making a fuss. on private property and didn't listen to anyone. Even so, we always supported you, we bought you clothes since you had beach clothes, we bought you food, and at all times he was attentive to you. If the police arrested you it was because of the scandal you had in public. In the United States and any country they also arrest anyone if they do what you were doing. The gas station owner has all the videos of his behavior. and the drivers also have the videos they took of him when he entered the bus to hit his brother. In this country tourism is taken care of a lot and much less to drug anyone here we don't use those things. But I have to tell you that you are very ungrateful since we were always looking out for you, we even bought you clothes, food, (something that was not our responsibility) because you were the one who made scandals on the road. The videos are there, the videos speak. That day he accused his brother of so many things, now he says something else. If you don't know how to drink, I recommend that when you come to the DR you don't drink because the rum here has 18% alcohol. And another thing she should be more grateful for is that the treatment we gave her when the police arrested her was very kind. Another company would have left it since you caused that problem. the gas station has the videos. and you almost took your brother's ear off. The police accused her of scandal in public and of violence towards her brother who kept bleeding from her ear. The evidence and reports are both at the gas station, at the prosecutor and at politours

DON’T DO IT

Denise_K, Mar 2024
The food was gross. The meat was dry and tough. I could not eat it We were surrounded by panhandlers and it ruined everything. Even when we would say no they would not stop pestering. We had to pay to use the bathroom. That’s unconscionable

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Good afternoon, Mrs. Denisse, those beggars that you call are residents who are in Bayahibe and live there but no client is obliged to give you anything. In fact, the description says that tipping is not mandatory. About the public bathrooms that are in Bayahibe (At the port of embarkation, in the public bathrooms which you went to, there are some women with a box of gum, toilet paper, sanitary towels, and they sell those things to earn a living but they don't You are obligated to pay to use the bathroom. In fact, our guide always tells you that you are not obligated to pay to use the bathroom in public places. On the Island, the bathroom is private and belongs to us. But as I told you, it is not obligatory to pay. for using bathrooms in public places.

We need to rescue the island.

The company host this trip is not proffessional. All staffs are working hard. But the way of operating of the company are very poor. They pickup guests in many different hotels. All guests on the bus were upset with long waiting time. The trip is only 5 hours but from the pickup time to dropp off time is almost 12 hours trip. The island is too pollution. The bad smell of urine and sewer all on the island.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Sir, Thank you for your reservation, remember that you purchased a shared tours where there are more clients picking up. (This is not private) the expression on the beach is strange where it refers to pollution and bad smell. I tell you that the Dominican Government has always invested in this beach so that it is always beautiful and that tourists can enjoy it. That's why they have the Ministry of the Environment in charge of this beach (one of our natural beauty). In 12 years with our company, it's the first time I've read a comment like this.

Great experience but beware of the sales teams

Diya_L, Mar 2024
Overall great trip, however you couldn’t enjoy it as much without the natives selling you every five steps. Even on the Catamaran while entertaining they slid caps on your head and charged for that. We took photos and paid for a package deal of $300 but was charged an additional $88 and saw the guy hand him the $300 in cash. No receipt given no name nothing. They were all in cahoots with each other.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Good afternoon Mrs. Diya Lucas, if you can verify in our description it clearly says that photography is another separate company that has nothing to do with us. This tour does not include photos since this is a separate company. Regarding the vendors on the catamaran, they are people who live on the Island and earn their food this way. However, the customer is completely free not to purchase since it is not mandatory.

The best day ever

Great tour guide and boats, poor beach area

Anonymous, Feb 2024
The tour guide Manuel was wonderful. He took good care of us. The catamaran and speed both were both nice. We enjoyed the ride. There were professional photographers onboard who took beautiful photos. We couldn’t come close to the colors they got with iPhones. Bring money or Apple Pay if you want some great photos. The only thing I didn’t like was our spot on the breach. The beach chairs were in dire need of replacement. I walked the beach and saw much nicer sites for other companies. The chairs were nicer and there were nice buildings with thatched roofs. Our site was more like a shelter you’d find at a park. For this reason I would choose another company next time I go.

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Greetings, thanks for the review, if you could verify all the buildings on the beach have the same constructions and are made of cana, the cana distinguishes us as Dominicans. Regarding the chairs on the beach, they are changed every X amount of time but unfortunately the salt on the beach is destroying them. they are still just bought

The Worst Day

Veronica_T, Feb 2024
Please avoid this at all cost. The majority of the day is spent driving or sitting in a parking lot. There is constant mass confusion and nobody has answers. This is a complete waste of a vacation day.

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Greetings, thank you for your review, it should be noted that from Punta Cana to the pier where you embark to Saona Island is 35 minutes and from the pier to the Island it is one hour by Catamaran. so it is the only way to go to the island

Not worth price

Erica_J, Feb 2024
The catamaran out was okay but every other part of this trip was not great. It was all Hurry up and then wait wait wait. The few fun parts felt rushed every part of it was over crowded, which led to a lot of rudeness from other people also waiting. The staff were nice but all in all not worth the price to stand in line for what felt like 5 out of 10 hours.

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Hello Ms. Erika, thank you for your review. Unfortunately, in this tours we have the time measured since at 6 in the afternoon the boats must all be out of the water (rules set by the authorities) so the time must be made the most of.

Awsome

jaantje_h, Feb 2024

Saona Island- worth a trip

David_F, Jan 2024
In my opinion this is a trip worth taking. I met interesting people from all around the world, the beauty, the friendliness of staff and locals is hard to beat. If you enjoy good people, sights, and dancing, this is worth a try. There are different prices, depending on your taste, but it can be fairly inexpensive and worth it. Thanks
