Dishonest, disorganized tour operator

AndyTrantham, Apr 2022
Dishonest tour agency. Very crowded and disorganized tour. Vehicles in poor condition, constantly breaking down. Stops only last 15-20 minutes so you have no time to enjoy the places visited. One of the guides actually stole my brand new iPhone when we changed vehicles due to a breakdown. I Used find my iphone to chase him around 3 different cities for several hours to finally get it back. He had been trying to sell at many different mobile phone stores. This tour operator is a group of unprofessional shady, crooks. Stay far away.

Hello, I'm sorry but you didn't have experiences with us and you have also posted in the wrong company.

Tourist trap

Horrible experience, Broken down equipment driven at slow speeds down dusty roads along with all the other tour companies , crowding the same 3 stops

Polaris Double

LaTosha_F, Jul 2021
The Polaris ride was fun. My only compliant was to many people in line to follow and buggies kept breaking down holding up the line. Also the venders need to quit harassing you about buying stuff telling you how to spend your money.

If you like a HUGE, slow crowd, with worn out buggies, this is for you

Ginger_W, Jun 2021
The group tour was HUGE, buggies would break down, causing the group to have to stop, which made the tour VERY SLOW. The children on the side of the route would harass you for money, try to grab your bag and items inside, if not completely closed up. After you returned, you were harassed to buy the photos from the tour, then set for an hour waiting to board the bus back to your resort.

Woulda done differently

Alan_A, Nov 2020
The buggies are ragged out and lots broke down/difficult to keep running. Tour was unorganized and rushed along. Should have spent more money on a better tour company. You will definitely get muddy! It was still fun but disappointed overall. Had different expectations.

THIS IS THE TOUR YOU WANT!

Brigitte_K, Mar 2020
I cant even fully explain in words how awesome this experience was. We had been buggying before on previous trips, we wanted something a little different this time { we were open to different vehicles and/or different locations). This tour is a smaller tour, there was us 4 and one other couple IN TOTAL. One of the reasons we did this tour was because the gave the option of Polaris or buggys, , we were interested in all the locations AND we saw they catered towards smaller groups so that our experience could be better. On our tour, we watched other tours have 30 buggys at a time pass us. definitely NOT what we wanted- so we know we picked correctly. Kyle reached out to me directly once we booked the tour ( im talking within half an hour. we booked it at 10 om so i was shocked) i was able to talk to him, ask him the questions we wanted but couldn't find answers to an we locked everything down. We booked 4 polaris vehicles and made sure we each got our own! Then when it was buggy day we drove to a designated pick up location and Sabrina ( the owner herself) picked us up in a suv and brought us to the place. We loved how personal that was, we has small talk the whole way. From there we got our helmets and our vehicles. We met our tour guide Omega and our photographer. Also on our tour was a mechanic that came with us in case anything went wrong it could be fixed asap. Off we went, through trails, fields, puddles palm trees! the HAcienda we stopped at was far superior than the one we stopped at with other companies. It was colorful, and interesting. We saw raw cocoa beans, coffee, oregano and other things grown on the farm. We ground our own chocolate and learned about the chocolate and coffee making process and samples it in the various stages. We samples the final product of hot coffee and hot cocoa and mamajuana. We took photos in the various areas of the land. there was a small shop to purchase things from, but no one was pushy about anything, which we appreciate. Next- back on the buggys to the part i was most excited about, a cenote. we parked in a small lot across the street which had bathrooms and a small bar that served beverages. We then walk across the street to the cave- here was overwhelming- in THIS spot we were bombarded with various souvenir stands- they will try to pull you in all different directions. You have to know how to be direct, say no and walk away. Omega was always close to use while he lead us through. You go down a few steps and there it is It was BEAUTIFUL. i didnt hesitate, i was in the water for the entire time of our stop there. I could see the bottom, they helped me in and out. i didnt want to jump in so there was someone in the water that helped me get in. I would have spent all day there. I told Omega to make sure he gives me a 10 minute heads up before we have to leave so i can get out and dry off a little and put my clothes back on, he did. Then from there, back in the vehicles and to the beach! Maccao is beyond gorgeous! we had some time there to relax, take photos , we put out feet in, but didnt swim because the water was rough that day- the other couple went in. At this beach- they have people with Maccaws, monkeys and iguanas that will let you take photos for tips. This last stop at maccao is only about 5 minutes back to the ranch. So after we were done there we went back, were able to rinse off in some out door showers they have and review and purchase our photos. I absolutely recommend this company over all other ones, we will definitely be redoing this, and we will be sending our friends and family to them too.
