The buggies were great! We got super muddy and the showers after got us back to clean. The performances were a hoot and had us smiling clapping and laughing. Over all it was a fun fulled event and we were back in time for dinner.

Fun trip buggies were slow and they make u stay in a line but that’s almost everywhere you go . They were still fun they made a few spots of mud for us to drive through . No water or snacks so bring your own . The cave is gorgeous recommend it !

Do not book this excursion! They do not go to macao beach and they do not have GoPro cameras on the buggies as advertised. The beach is the best part of the trip and they don’t do it anymore.

Lack of communication from the shuttle service. We were scheduled to be picked up at 0720 and after multiple calls we were told their driver made a mistake and we had no other choice but to take the 1050 tour or the 1350. No consideration towards the time we have been waiting. The vehicles are poorly maintained. We experienced multiple boogies broken down among the road. Our vehicle felt very unsafe and it was leaking fluid, when we addressed the issue they brushed it off and made us feel as if we were an imposition. The description was of the tour was very misleading. Definitely I would spend my money at another tour.

The buggy’s were fun but my sons buggy kept breaking down. Also I understand the need to make money but the continued shopping was too much.

Had a great experience the tour started with buggies, then swim in the cenote(water felt amazing) , chocolate/tea/mamajuana tasting, a show and concluded with some dancing. My family had fun. They don’t take you to the beach tho and some of their buggies aren’t in good condition.

We rode in the cutest bus like 10 min from our hotel • we wanted to be muddy and we got just that • the first stop was unbelievable • the coffee stop the guy was hilarious • and the last stop was breathtaking • so much for so little • just the best • Carlos the best tour guide ever

All the activities on this excursion were fun and entertaining. However, the things that I did not like were 1) they would not sell me a bandana to cover my face from dust , water , nor food because I did not have cash on me , only a card. 2) the buggy was extremely difficult to drive. The seat did not move forward nor backwards, very difficult to stop the cart with the break pedal . 3) the workers on the beach were so aggressive. I didn’t even get to enjoy the beach part because workers were in my face asking if I had a boyfriend, asking for my number, forcing their animals on me to take a picture and the guy legit told me I owed him $120 for taking a picture of me on my phone with his monkey. Scam!

The excursion was canceled due to it raining and I’m fighting to get my money back from Viator/tour company unsatisfied customer

The whole time they was closed for the weekend and sent a message the day before and still charged my card! If you knew it was a holiday and your closed why let people your excursion?! Dont make sense

The first part of the experience was informative, entertaining and pleasant. We wish we had more than 30 minutes in the cenote it was absolutely beautiful. Our initial tour guide Rigo was wonderful. However when it was time for our family of 7 to get in the buggies they did not have enough and we had to wait and miss about 45 mins of the tour waiting for the company to get additional buggies. We were supposed to have a 3 person and 4 person buggy and ended up with 1 atv, a 2 person buggy and then a 4 person buggy.
Once we were finally on the tour we switched guides multiple times on the route, the last guide seemed to be lost or confused on which route to take. While waiting for him to get it together we were harassed by children and adults yelling at us on the side of the road to go back and the guide said nothing to keep the people from harassing us. We felt unsafe and wasted even more time from the experience.
When we arrived back to return our vehicles and purchase the photos we saw that the place looked empty. We asked where the the other guests were and where do we catch the return bus and no one had answers. Everyone is looking at each other and unconcerned. One guy told us the driver is "over there" "he's coming" pointing in a direction over his shoulder as he walked away with a container of food. My family walked around asking over 10 people for assistance and finally one person decided to offer clarification that they had to get a new driver to take us back to our hotel since the bus left us.
They did at least 3 head counts on the way to the tour but clearly did not do the same on the return.
I wish i could rate this company and experience higher however they failed my family multiple times and then charged $170 for 90 pictures.

Don not book with this company! We were not taken to every place promised in the description. We did not receive helmets and my seatbelt would not stay fastened. Our initial dune buggy had a broken wheel and we had to switch. The excursion was stopped so many time because a lot of people’s dune buggies stopped working. No communication, very unprofessional.

We were collected from our hotel by an old truck with very cramped melt bench seats, no seat belts and hardly any leg room, which were driven through every crater in the road on the way causing us to hang on !!
On arrival at the Buggy Centre we were booked in, then accompanied around their gift shop by a male staff member trying to pressure us into buying something.
Then we were led to a row of Buggy’s in rush, with very little instructions and urged to get in and get going, my wife asked for a “helmet “ and was told “NO”. At this point we were asked to move on with the group hardly having time to fit and adjust our seatbelt.
Once moving onto the road I found the steering system hard half a turn of “Free Play” in both directions and was “VERY DANGEROUS”
I managed to get to the first stop/visit point not without several near disasters, I reported the dangerous condition of our Buggy to a staff member immediately,
and showed him the worn out steering parts, he said he find a replacement Buddy for by the time we finished the visit.
The visit was was commercialised be pleasant, when came by the where the Buggy’s were parked, I had to ask “again” ! Another Buggy was brought round and after a quick check this one was just as bad and in addition only had about six inches of the passengers seatbelt hanging down the rest was missing!!!!
So I refused to drive this one too. Eventually a newer one appeared which was fine.
The rest of the trip went ok, but to allow people out on the crowded roads with animals and children running around with total disregard for safety for them selves , in very dangerous, non maintained and tested vehicles.

This was definitely fun, and different from the usual snorkeling trips. However, be prepared to get dirty, and have the local kids chase u for money or something on your person. You will only spend 15 min in cave and 15 min at beach.
Eric_A, Mar 2022
This is not an off-road dune buggy experience, my partner and I were very disappointed
-Cenotes were the best part , but only got 20 minutes there
-70% of the ride was on roadway
- you must drive in single file, no “zig zag”, no passing, no driving fast. Over crowded groups with a slow guide keeping pace.
-went to a beach (for 20 minutes) and bombarded with vendors.
Would not recommend to anyone looking for an off-road, back roads experience. Pretty boring to say the least.
Eric_C, Mar 2022
We had a great time. The cave was great and we loved our pictures! I would have loved to have a little more time at each destination.
bradley_g, Mar 2022
We were not picked up nor contacted for the excursion and not refunded our fee. Slightly dissatisfied to say the least
Francis_H, Mar 2022
Great tour!! Recommend!!!! Great people!!! Excellent facility!! The chocolate is delicious and the coffee too!!
Claudyne_L, Mar 2022
This was very fun to do .. the cave was great and buggy experience gets wild .. my husband only wished he could drive without following a line but Ou got aggressive the route so he liked it .. bring bathing suit for cave .. the professional photos are pricey but worth it to have they give a lot . I wish we didn’t have just 20 mins at the beach. The beach was rushed .. but overall nice .. go in mornings avoid too much heat .
Chivas_J, Feb 2022
The whole experience was lots of fun! You get very muddy and worth the price. The cave was gorgeous. Our Photographer aka ‘GANG GANG’ was amazing!!!
davidmu69, Feb 2022
Bring your own bandana or use your Covid mask, sun glasses work well to protect your eyes. If you are in a 2 person buggy, you may get very muddy so be prepared.
Fun 4 hour adventure, worth the money.
Vania_L, Feb 2022
Amazing experience although they missed the pick up time and I had to call but quickly they rearranged another slot, apart from that we had an amazing time,Thanks
Efrat_K, Feb 2022
The kids had the greatest time!! They had many tour guides directing the trip so it was very safe. Don’t wear anything good because we got filthy!!! The caves were incredible and the beach was fun but they will hound u to buy things. All in all kids had a blast!!!
Phillip_D, Feb 2022
The whole time we do too many stops talking and people trying to sell us stuff or charge to take picture it wasn’t much riding I lost more money then having fun.
Nikolay_C, Feb 2022
Not a bad trip for the money, they took us from the hotel on the buggies, then we drove to a few touristy shops and a cave then out to macoa Beach. Overall not a bad experience when our buggy died we promptly got a new on no problem. Only regret was I wish we could drive faster on the buggies where they only let you drive convoy style where you can't pass up other people and drive as fast as you want. We got nice and dirty so it was fun. Overall I would rate it a solid 4/5. Also wish we could spend 20-40 more minutes on the beach. Getting back to the hotel was also easy and not too time consuming.
Destiny_M, Feb 2022
GREAT EXPERIENCE! Very fun and exciting! Rude to the excursion was probably 25-30 minutes but it was peaceful. Then when we got there they had 3 different translators. All were great. Their is a gift shop so they will ask if you want to buy anything while you wait. After like a 20-25 minute wait it’s time to drive. All the stops were beautiful! Also while driving you will pass locals (majority kids) and they would ask if you have a $1 or try to give a flower for a $1. Lastly, I would say they do focus on time a lot when it pertains to leaving the stops but we were still be able to enjoy. Overall this was a 10/10 experience for me!

We absolutely loved this trip. It was exactly as advertised. More than enough time in the buggies. Loved the cave and loved the beach.
Could have spent the whole day at the beach
No problem with our buggy. Was good to see more of the real Dominican
Shop was highly overpriced- and I wasn’t in the mood to haggle
Left at 7.35, arrived back at 1.25 with one other pick up on our bus
Very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone
Courtney_B, Jan 2022
This tour is a set up for them to bring tourist into high traffic areas to be harassed by panhandlers and hustlers. The beach was over crowded and we were swarmed by scam artists. At the main shop while waiting for the tour, we were stalked and pressured into making purchases there. The staff don’t leave you alone and try to force things into your hands. The buggy trail itself was okay, but also lined with beggars that run up to your cart. Would not recommend, not worth the money
JENNIFER_B, Jan 2022
We were supposed to go on a Dune Buggy tour first thing in the morning of 12 Jan 2022. First, the tour put us on the wrong bus and because of that, we missed our slotted time. They say we can come back for the later one, no problem, they'll pick us up at the resort lobby at 10:50am. So we are at the lobby hanging out, then stand out front of the lobby 10 minutes prior to the pickup time. Guess who's not there at the pick up time? I email the tour director, like yo, wtf? They say he's there, we say he's not. Blah blah blah. Finally dude shows up, but he makes no indication he's looking for us, he picks up other guests, doesn't act like he's looking for anyone else and leaves. Tour director calls multiple times and we're like we're where we're supposed to be. Guy comes back again, doesn't yell out my name (they have it), just yells out "boogies" doesn't approach us to ask, because we're apparently just supposed to assume he's there for us I guess? Like there's no other businesses doing Dune Buggy tours on this island? Finally we approach him because now he does look like he's looking for someone, and we're like are you looking for Jennifer? Very annoyed he says "yes, I've been yelling 'boogies, boogies'". Yeah, k. That don't mean anything friend 🙄😒 Ok so we're FINALLY getting to where we need to go! We get to the location, my partner has his "boogie" I have mine, awesome we're off! Guess what happens not even 5 minutes down the damn road? My "boogie" dies, and the tour just leaves me on the side of a rural road in east podunk nowhere Punta Cana. I'm now surrounded by a bunch of local children who don't speak English and I no hablo Español. Fantastic. Finally another group passes me and they radio back to the main building and send someone to try to fix the Buggy. Long story made a little shorter, they don't get it fixed, they finally send me a Gator to catch up to the rest of the group at the 1st stop which was a plantation (I didn't miss too much apparently), guy meets me out front to bring me to the rest of the group saying "your husband was very worried about you!" (everyone just assumes we're married when we're together) and I'm like, he's probably pissed! Meet up with him finally and the rest of the tour went fine. I'd love to do it again (maybe not with that company and their broken down equipment and severe lack of communication) it was a lot of fun in spite of all the trouble and we got some great pictures and a crazy story out of it.
Shaquana_C, Jan 2022
This excursion was Awesome!!! You’re almost guarantee to have some type of issue with the boogie but because of the rugged roads they maintain well. It was a group of 6 and all 3 carts broke down at some point but they got you right back going. We didn’t know to bring our swimsuits and water shoes because you’re swimming in the cave and going to the beach. I loved this tour!!
Julie_S, Jan 2022
Loved the buggies. Definitely use this company as all their vehicles are top notch. Most of the other companies vehicles looked like old style go-carts. One note: bring aqua shoes or sandals that can go in and out of water. Exiting the tour, walking through picture zone and finding our ride home was very chaotic process hence the four out of five stars.
