Our boat tour to Capri was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was handled with so much care and professionalism. The captain and co-captain were incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable the entire time and pointing out the most beautiful sights along the way. Their knowledge of the area, warm hospitality, and genuine passion for what they do made the experience so special. The boat was comfortable, the views were breathtaking, and we truly felt like VIP guests. If you’re visiting Capri, this is a must-do experience — I can’t recommend this tour enough!

    Family friendly, great day excursion

    Dharmesh_R, Sep 2025
Easy to find the tour guide and great communication. The tour was shorter than expected (original start time 8am, updated time to 10am due to weather) and the blue grotto was closed that day so we did not see everything. Additionally, we had around 3.5 hours on capri and only 30 minute to swim in the water- our family felt it would have been more enjoyable to spend time in the water and a little less time on Capri, given the shortened overall trip time. Otherwise, the boat and crew were amazing, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and we enjoyed the experience.

    Not what we paid for!

    Ana_d, Aug 2025
    1. They tried to cancel one day before and wanted to change the date to a different day. 2. They messaged back to say the trip was on, but they said it was going to be a bigger boat and they lied. It was actually smaller then the picture they sent. 3. They don’t take you to actually see the grottos they just pass by, and tell you “this is it” and move on fast. 4. No blue grotto because “it was closed” but you could see a line forming to go see it. Made it seem like they just did not want to waste their time. 5. The swimming part also seemed like it was just a random spot, no cave swimming at all. Did not seem like a magical experience at all, and not for what we paid for. You probably will only do this tour once in your life, so do not purchase this tour.

Overpriced, Unsafe, and Nothing Like Promised – Worst Boat Tour Experience Ever

    melanie_l, Jul 2025
If you enjoy being miserable, and body slammed by the ocean and receiving none of what you paid for, this is the tour for you. (out of 8 hours only 15 was swimming and snacks combined, the entire rest of the time was a terrible joyless speed race around the water) Do not sit in the front of the boat—under any circumstances. I read the 1-star reviews and didn’t believe them. I regret that. They were right. Here’s what your day will look like: Our boat was overbooked. By the time it picked us up in Positano, it was already full from the previous stop. All the decent seats were taken. We were forced to lie down at the very front, which quickly turned into a brutal, dangerous experience and baked in the sun and burned. The captain—who seemed to think he was auditioning for a Red Bull F1 boat team—blasted full speed ahead for nearly an hour. My husband, a 40+ year martial artist, said he’s never taken such a beating. We slammed into wave after wave, hurting our backs, necks, and limbs. I had an injured foot that was repeatedly slammed into the deck, causing more damage to my ankle. We briefly stopped for maybe four minutes to snap a few photos of some rocks, then it was back to the insanity. We were forced to immediately lie down again and hang on for dear life as the captain pushed the boat to its limit. We passed every other tour boat on the water—boats filled with people sipping drinks, laughing, playing music, and enjoying themselves. Meanwhile, we were being flung around like crash test dummies. This wasn’t just uncomfortable—it was unsafe. I’m a former U.S. Marine and an experienced boat owner, and I can confidently say this was not okay. No drinks were offered. No food was served. Despite the tour advertising both, they conveniently skipped that part. I genuinely believe the crew went so fast on purpose—to avoid having to serve anything. Eventually, we stopped for a rushed 15-minute swim (in total that’s all we swam, just 15 minutes not multiple like they advertised). At that point, they also handed out one bottle of prosecco for 12 people and a few snacks. You had to choose, swim or eat, because you only had 15 minutes. No full brunch like advertised, no hospitality. At the same time, they had the nerve to ask who wanted lunch reservations on Capri. (we expected this to be provided as advertised, but no, you had to pay additional on Capri.) This ride was joyless, awkward, rushed, and reckless. No music. No charm. No personality. Just speed. We flew past every scenic site in 2–4 minutes, and the rest was spent gripping the boat to avoid being thrown off. Ended up getting off on Capri to spend over two hundred more euros for food and drinks for two people since the boat failed to provide this as they advertised. I’ve been on hundreds of boat rides and tours. This was the first time I felt so strongly about a bad experience that I had to leave a review. Also, in their ad “admission included” is a scam. They didn’t offer any of that. By the end we were confused what that even meant because that wasn’t even a thing it’s all fake. You don’t need admission. On the way back, we passed every single boat on the water and went as fast as possible with no more stops. The same people who got the good seats there, expected to get the same seats on the way back so it was a fight to get good seats. At the very end, they pulled out Lemoncello, and offered half a shot to everyone. I was very mad and refused because we just had to pay for this drink on Capri. This tour is falsely advertised, dangerously operated, and completely miserable. You’ve been warned. We paid 660 euros for two. Rip off.

    Great day on the boat

    Marni_M, Jun 2025
Fantastic boat tour! The operator was very communicative with us. They picked our family of 5 up and took us to Capri. We had plenty of time to explore Capri and have lunch. We got back on the boat and went around the island of Capri which was beautiful! We had time to jump in the water. The weather was perfect. We had a wonderful day!

    Fantastic Tour to Capri

    John_L, Jun 2025
This is an A+ experience! Marco, our boat captain and host, was fabulous in every way. We traveled from Positano to Capri with swimming stops and beautiful photo stops along the way. The trip included a highlight going into the blue grotto. We had time to explore Capri with its many food and shopping options before boarding the boat to head back. We enjoyed Prosecco and pizza and Marco was very generous with both. The views were majestic and Marco explained a little about each area. We loved that it was a small group tour and we loved the people we met. My husband and I highly recommend this tour with Marco.

This is a fun way to get to Capri! We visited the grottos on the way, had yummy snacks and drinks, listened to music and enjoyed the sun! Our skipper, Antonio and Valerio were so much fun and had a lot of great information on the coast. We docked in Capri and had about 4 hours to wander, shop and eat then back on the boat. We could have stayed on this boat for days!

    Capri day tour

    Kimberly_W, May 2025
5 stars is for the staff on the boat. They were very accommodating and the Captain was a phenomenal driver going in and out of the Grotto. I think Capri is underwhelming and we probably could have seen everything of interest in an hour or less. When we looked at what to do we saw recs to do the boat tours to the Grotto, but that was included in our tour already.

    What a beautiful tour! We...

    Tami_M, May 2025
What a beautiful tour! We made several stops around Capri and even did the Blue Grotto. Our guides were very friendly, although a bit hard to hear/understand at times. They made great recommendations about what to do during our free time on Capri-super helpful! Drinks were plentiful although food consisted only of baby pizza rounds. It was enough. Only thing that bothered me a little was that tour description said we would have 18 stops & admission was included for all except Blue Grotto. There was no other admissions on other stops as we were just circling island. We chose this more expensive tour mainly because we thought there were other admissions not included in lesser expensive tours. A bit deceiving but tour was delightful.

    Response from Host, May 2025

Thank you for your review—we’re truly glad to hear you enjoyed the beauty of the tour, the various stops around Capri, the Blue Grotto experience, and the kindness of our crew. We're also happy that you found their suggestions useful during your free time on the island. Regarding your comment about the “18 stops” and admissions, we’d like to clarify: the tour includes the approach and visit by boat to 18 points of interest around the island—such as natural caves, iconic rock formations, scenic swimming spots, and historical landmarks along the coast. None of these stops require entrance tickets. The only site with an entry fee is the Blue Grotto, which is managed separately and always listed as optional and not included in the base tour price. That said, although your tour package did not include the Blue Grotto, we were happy to offer that visit as a complimentary bonus, as conditions allowed and the timing worked out smoothly. We do our best to create memorable experiences whenever possible. We’re not sure where the idea came from that other stops involve paid admissions—this isn’t stated in our tour description—and we always aim to be as clear and transparent as possible. The value of this tour lies in its more complete itinerary, extended time at sea, comfort, and personalized service. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear the day was, overall, delightful. We hope to welcome you on board again in the future!

    Fantastic

    JEFFREY_O, Oct 2024
Boat ride with Andrea and Martin was fantastic Emerald Grotto was the most beautiful shade of green, and of course the most delicious homemade limoncello (made by Nonna)

    Overpriced

    Christine_M, Oct 2024
We met nice people but did not get anywhere near what we paid for. It was an overpriced ferry ride. Don’t waste your money

    Response from Host, Oct 2024

Thank you for your feedback. We regret to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that our tours offer much more than a simple ferry ride. In addition to transportation, we provide guided visits to some of the most iconic locations along the Amalfi Coast or Capri, opportunities for swimming in crystal-clear waters, as well as snacks and beverages onboard. We take pride in offering a personalized experience with smaller groups, which allows for a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere compared to a standard ferry service. It's always our goal to offer a high-quality experience that goes beyond just reaching a destination. We’re sorry if this wasn't fully aligned with your expectations, and we’ll take your feedback into consideration for future improvements.

    Fantastic time

    Scott_P, Oct 2024
This was one of our favorite things we did while visiting the amalfi coast. The boat picked us up in Positano as planned. Antonio was the captain and he communicated with us before the tour to make sure we were clear where to meet etc. The tour gave us plenty of time to see capri and then see the sights by boat.

    Outstanding day!!!

    Carolyn_G, Oct 2024
Andrea was outstanding and always put safety first!! He was very knowledgeable and kept in great contact with us!

    Terrific experience

    Frank_B, Sep 2024
The bests part of the tour were on the boat with our friendly guides, Enrico and Martin. They were very knowledgeable and attentive, and did everything they could to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. They made this one of the best tours of our trip to Italy!

    Must Do!

    Dyanet_P, Sep 2024
Our experience was excellent! Andrea, our captain, was in constant communication with us even before the trip begun to ensure we had a smooth time finding the location. He and his staff was made sure we were comfortable and that we all had refreshments. The boat was in pristine shape. I highly recommend this tour to see the coast from the sea and visit Capri. Absolutely amazing!

    A Wonderful Ecperience

    Elaine_S, Sep 2024
Excellent day spent exploring the Amalfi coast. Martine and Andrea were great hosts and excellent sea men on a windy day at sea. We saw Positano and the famous grottos up close and spent 3 hours exploring Capri. Lunch and Prosecco provided was good as well!

    Fun and beautiful

    Donna_F, Sep 2024
Great skipper and staff that were lots of fun! My sister and I truly enjoyed our day on the boat to Capri. Spent some time in Capri and boating around Capri to see the Grottos and swimming. Lovely trip

    Amazing Day on Boat Tour

    Nicole_D, Sep 2024
We had an amazing day on the Capri All Inclusive Small Group Tour. They picked us up in Positano and the day was incredible. The ride was great and we had food and drinks on board. Our captain Antonio and hostess Ory made sure we had a great time. The water was stunning and so refreshing to swim in, can’t recommend this tour enough!

We really wanted to love this excursion more...

    Rich_L, Aug 2024
First, let me say that Vincenzo and Osama were great. They were very friendly and personable. Upon departure, Osama immediately offered us drinks and Vincenzo's boat driving skills are just as good as the bus drivers on land navigating narrow channels and high traffic areas always trying to ensure everyone on the boat gets the best views. Now, I went back to look at the details of the excursion and it advertises 18 different stops. Though I didn't explicitly count, I know we didn't make 18 stops. It felt more like half of that. I wouldn't have minded so much if it wasn't for the main attraction (at least for my family) - the Blue Grotto. This was the main reason I purchased the excursion in the first place. I thought we were going to go. We drove right past it and went to Capri and they told us we can go afterwards. Well, afterwards came and we drove straight back to Positano (without even telling us we're not going to the Blue Grotto let alone giving us a reason or apology). So no Blue Grotto for us even though it was advertised :(. The other grottos and the swimming (not snorkeling) were fun so don't get me wrong but I was really disappointed when we didn't get to see the main attraction and for that, I cannot give this excursion 5 stars.

    Response from Host, Aug 2024

While it’s nice to hear you appreciated Vincenzo and Osama's efforts, it's clear there was a bit of a misunderstanding on your end. It seems that instead of taking the time to thoroughly read the excursion details, you chose to interpret them to suit your own expectations. The Blue Grotto is indeed mentioned, but as is clearly stated, only 10 minutes are dedicated to it, and visiting depends on factors beyond our control—like wait times and sea conditions. We don’t advertise guarantees we can’t keep, unlike some people who seem to overlook the fine print and later complain. As for the 18 stops, well, let's just say counting may not have been your strongest suit that day. Perhaps instead of trying to create a mental checklist, you could have focused more on enjoying the scenery? But I digress. We understand the Blue Grotto might have been a highlight for you, but we never promised a full exploration of it in the tour details, above all because it needs, at least, 2 or 3 hours in line, so the tour would become a long waiting to visit the Blue Grotto and this you don't know, but shoot senteces and judgements like a Capri citizen. Next time, we recommend thoroughly reading the itinerary before making assumptions. It’ll save you from future disappointments and us from having to clarify obvious details. All the best in your future adventures!

    Joellen_P, Aug 2024
Samantha and Andrea were the best! They made the experience so much better. They were fun and really nice! Would highly recommend.

    Strongly Recommend!

    Chris_L, Aug 2024
Andrea and Valerio were amazing! Everything was seamless from all pre-event communication all the through to drop-off at the end. They provided such a great atmosphere and told great cultural stories/legends and factual information about the area. They always had drinks ready and made sure we were comfortable, having a great time! You should absolutely book this tour!

    Not worth it

    Eric_P, Aug 2024
Not nearly worth the money. Did not spend a such time as advertised at each spot. Maybe a minute each. Boat was to small for the number of people. Food was cheap. Basically expensive boat ride to Capri. A ferry and private boat tour would have been cheaper and just as good. First mate Osama was nice though.

    Response from Host, Aug 2024

It’s interesting that you booked a shared tour and then expected the perks of a private yacht. The itinerary clearly outlines the timing at each stop, and we followed it precisely. As for the boat size, it's designed for comfort, not a luxury cruise liner. The food provided, as you can read from the hundreds 5 starts reviews is always appreciated, this is a boat tour, not a Michelin-star restaurant experience. If you were expecting Michelin-star dining and a private vessel, perhaps you should’ve booked something more in line with those expectations. And yes, Osama is indeed fantastic—glad we can agree on that!

    False advertisement

    Karen_P, Aug 2024
Staff on boat was wonderful but we did not get what we paid for. All the advertisements on the website was incorrect you can get this your much cheaper the way it was done.

    Response from Host, Aug 2024

Thank you for sharing your opinion, although we're disappointed to see that your review lacks concrete details about what specifically did not meet your expectations. While we appreciate your kind words about our staff, it's difficult for us to understand where we may have fallen short based on such vague feedback. Regarding the price, we would like to emphasize that our tours are designed to provide a high-quality experience, with personalized service and attention to detail. The perception of value is, of course, subjective, but we take pride in the value we offer for the experience provided. If you could kindly provide more specific feedback, we would be happy to review your concerns constructively. Our goal is always to improve and deliver an experience that exceeds our customers' expectations.

    A Must Do Tour.

    Daniel_M, Aug 2024
Wonderful crew and the experience and the sights were unbelievable. Highly recommend this tour. The crew took exceptional care of us and the dip in the Med was delightful.

    Terrible value for money

    Tyson_C, Jul 2024
This was the worst boat trip we have done. Let me start by saying I have worked on boats in tourism for years. We watched the weather & booked this trip coinciding the best tides and wind. The itinerary lists the blue grotto as the third stop, and was told online & in our booking notes that it goes to a group vote whether you wait & do the blue grotto with a small extra fee for the small boats that take you in. The deckhand Samantha & Skipper Massimo did not give us the option at all even though all 10 passengers on board had specifically booked this tour to go to the blue grotto. She refused to stop and ignored all passengers when we questioned why this was, saying we should have booked further in advance? They advertise ‘snorkelling’ but did not have enough masks or noodles for everyone on board. I was even helping passengers back into the boat after swimming (it was quite rough in the bay we stopped) because the crew was sat on their phones. The crew drop you off on Capri for 3.5hr after a quick boat drive around the island to the port, with no direction or recommendations. She was rude and you could absolutely tell there was no care given to guest experience. For the price, this was the worst value for money on our whole 5 week trip. DO NOT book with this company.

    Response from Host, Jul 2024

Hello Tyson, thank you for your feedback, though it's laced with inaccuracies and a certain air of unwarranted self-importance. Allow me to address your points one by one. First, it's amusing to hear someone with years of experience in boat tourism claim this was the "worst boat trip." Your lofty expectations are noted, but it seems you've missed the basics. The Blue Grotto visit, as clearly stated in our itinerary, is subject to weather conditions and group consensus. It’s curious how you "watched the weather" yet ignored this crucial detail. Regarding the Blue Grotto, the decision not to stop was based on safety and operational reasons—factors you should appreciate given your supposed expertise. Samantha and Massimo were following protocols, not whims. Suggesting that booking further in advance would have changed the weather or tides is simply ludicrous. As for the snorkeling equipment, it’s unfortunate you had to assist others, but perhaps your expectations for luxury pampering overshadowed the reality of shared group tours. Our crew attends to all passengers' needs, and occasionally, seasoned "professionals" like yourself might be required to pitch in—how dreadful for you. The time on Capri is designed to allow independent exploration, which many of our guests find delightful. That you required hand-holding for recommendations speaks volumes more about your expectations than our service. Lastly, your comments about our crew’s demeanor are noted, but wildly exaggerated. They strive to provide excellent service and most of our guests appreciate their efforts—unlike those who arrive with an air of entitlement and a chip on their shoulder. We wish you the best in your future boating endeavors. Perhaps next time, a private charter would be more suited to your refined tastes.

    Great tour to Capri

    Abderraouf_L, Jul 2024
Excellent tour. Thank you Enrico (the skipper). Excellent boat👍 Very good music, ambiance and food/drinks.

    Outstanding

    Thomas_M, Jul 2024
Fabio and Davide did a fantastic job. Traveling to Capri in the morning before the crowds take over the island was a very key and clutch move. Additionally, exploring the grottos on the way back and getting to swim in the afternoon when the temps were the highest was another great choice. The snacks and drinks on the boat were an added plus, and we had a great, easy-going, and friendly group.

    This is a Must-Do Experience!

    Christine_W, Jul 2024
What an amazing day! This is a must-do experience. Ory was the hostess with the mostest and Captain Antonio was amazing. They were so accommodating, so kind and did everything to ensure that our crew had the best time possible! And we did! This was the highlight of our trip and it was nice way to get on the water and get out of the crowds in Positano. 10 stars for our crew, 10 stars for the scenery and 10 stars for the limoncello 👏

    Making the right call

    Don_G, Jul 2024
This was the best trip with the best people. The service was outstanding and we would recommend this to everyone who has a choice.

    Wonderful boat trip and your

    Lucia_M, Jul 2024
This was a perfect day. We opted for the 8:00 am tour so we were taken to Capri first. It was about an hour ride, then spent the morning on Capri (before it got really crowded). We met up with the boat at about 1:00-1:30 at which point we were taken around the island to see various coves, went through the faraglione and then stopped for about a half hour to swim in the teal blue/green water. After the swim they served some delicious bites, Prosecco, limoncello and various soft drinks. Complements to Valerio and Davide for being kind, funny, interesting, informative and for getting us to and from Capri - safely! Do not hesitate to take this tour! Very well done!
