Absolutely amazing tour!! Valerio and the captain Antonio were incredible! Made the day so fun, lots of laughter and jokes and Valerio was so knowledgeable about the history of each place we visited. We did not get to go inside the Blue Grotto, but we went inside all of the other Grottos and learned all about them. Our time on Capri was perfect, about 3.5 hours total. Plenty of time for lunch and taking the cable car to the top and doing some shopping. We also got to swim in the water, drink some Prosecco/Aperol Spritz, and eat some tasty snacks. Overall, would highly recommend this experience and would do it again!

    The Bait and Switch

    Debra_H, Jun 2026
It was nothing like it was portrayed to be. I picked this one because it had all 3 things we wanted to do. I wanted to go inside the Blue Grotto and go to Capri and my husband and son wanted to go snorkeling. The only thing we did was get off in Capri for 4 hours! Right when we got on the boat the captain said if we went to the Blue Grotto it would be a 2 hour wait and he would not have time to show us the other sights around Capri. He left it up to us and the other people on board and the majority decided not to go. As far as snorkeling I thought we would pull off in a cove and be able to snorkel, but all we got to do was about 30 minutes of swimming with a noodle in the bay where all the boats were going in and out of Capri. My husband and son did not even get in the water because there was nowhere to even swim. There was a bag of masks, but no snorkels or fins. While I was putting on my mask it broke! The food wasn’t any better, nothing like what was shown in the pictures. All in all we would have been better off to take a ferry over to Capri instead of wasting over $900.00. It makes me skeptical to try another one! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this one!!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the experience did not meet your personal expectations. However, we feel it is important to clarify that the Blue Grotto visit was available. As explained on the day, the waiting time was approximately two hours, and the group collectively chose to spend that time enjoying other highlights of Capri instead. This was not a decision made by our crew. Likewise, this is not a dedicated snorkeling excursion but a shared Capri boat tour that includes swimming and snorkeling opportunities. Masks were available on board, and a swimming stop was carried out as scheduled. As for Capri, your review states that the only thing you did was spend four hours on the island. For many visitors, free time in Capri is one of the main highlights of the experience and a significant part of the tour's value. Finally, the food and refreshments served were consistent with the description provided at the time of booking. We fully respect your opinion, but we believe your review reflects expectations that differed from the experience that was actually advertised and delivered.

    Great!

Frederica did a great job communicating before hand and made sure everyone was taken care of on the boat. Also we appreciated the information she gave us at each stop. The captain was good too. The water was beautiful and we felt it was a perfect amount of time for a day trip to Capri.

Lovely afternoon despite no blue grotto

    Stephanie_M, May 2026
The weather was beautiful so we were lucky. The boat was so clean and beautiful. The crew consisted of the Captain and one crew member. She was very diligent with contact prior to the pick up. She was also extremely hospitable and was constantly checking if you need a drink of water, beer, or Prosseco. She also explained stories about several locations along the way. When we were arriving in Capri, she made our group reservations at a local beach side restaurant and walked us straight to it. We didn't venture too far into Capri, but it was very touristy from what we saw. The only disappointing thing about our trip was the inability to enter the blue grotto (which was my main reason for booking). It was incredibly busy and we waited at least an hour when our Captain had to make the decision to move on to the rest of the tour. He did take us to see the green grotto so that was quite beautiful. My advice is to perhaps book directly for the blue grotto if that is your main goal. Although that was a disappointment, we had a wonderful trip overall and would recommend as long as you understand the possibility of missing the blue grotto.

Misleading description. Better ways to spent time at Capri

    Lonni_D, Aug 2025
While the tour guide was nice and knowledgeable the description of the excursion was misleading. It says the excursions included “stops” for swimming and snorkeling. We had one very short stop where we could swim. It was not a snorkeling spot nor was snorkeling equipment offered. The description also made it sound like you could see the blue grotto with the separate purchase of tickets. In reality there would have been no time to do that. My recommendation is to get to Capri and then do an excursion around the island from there. We started from Positano which is a long boat ride.

    Response from Host, Aug 2025

Dear Lonni, Thank you for your interesting feedback. It seems you wanted to fit into a single day what would realistically take about a week: a full circumnavigation of Capri with every grotto and iconic spot, multiple long swimming breaks, aperitivo, lunch, snorkeling, a stop at the Blue Grotto (where the line alone often takes over 2 hours), plus 4 hours of free time on the island. All this, squeezed into one excursion. And then, after lamenting that you couldn’t do “everything,” your big recommendation is… to take a public ferry. Meaning: spend the first 3–4 hours of your day in a crowded line, packed with hundreds of people, finally reach Capri exhausted, and then try to do in half the time what you didn’t manage to do in 8 hours on board a private yacht worth over a million dollars. Truly brilliant advice. Fortunately, most of our guests appreciate the reality of time and logistics, which is why our average reviews are 5 stars. But every once in a while, we get a comment like yours—a curious mix of entitlement and contradiction—that almost makes us laugh. Warm regards,

    Not for us!

This was not a cruise for our age group (over 65). There were not enough seats for everybody to sit comfortably or out of the sun. The ride was very bumpy. Some guidance around Capri, once we got there, would have been helpful.

    Response from Host, Jul 2025

Ciao Debora, we agree with you, at your age, better to hire a private yacht (which we have), or, even better, to choose for a bird watching experience. Very unfair to blame your tour operator because the sea conditions or because on a boat, during the summer, taxing around Capri, you complain because under the sun 🤦‍♂️

    Valerio is awesome!!
