Ricardo and Rafel were very friendly and helpful the entire time. Gorgeous views, paddled into the caves and got to jump off the boat for a swim near Marinha Beach. Must do if in Portimão!

The boat ride and views to the cave are extraordinary. Take a boat tour instead. We were first dismounted in water and had to wait for the other 9 kayaks to be dismounted to water. Same for getting in and out of cave, and to return to our boat. When entering the cave tour guide gave directions in front of the group and no one else was clear. About five other guides were in cave shouting directions so no one was sure what to do. Sheer chaos. High tides and hard to land with so many people and rough waves.It is not the quiet empty cave pictured. Maybe 70 people entering/leaving Cave. Tour boats also came in cave. It smelled like fuel for the whole ten minutes of our stay. It was more treading water and high waves and waiting to mount and dismount. Not the experience pictured.

Lest start with that on your tour, on September 9th at 12:00, there were just 5 kayaks beside yours.
I also know without a doubt, that all 3 members of our team are extremely careful and helpful. The guide during kayaking part always makes sure everyone is well informed, in few different languages including English, and I am sure of it. He also helps with paddling technique and landing on sand that you mentioned. The sea conditions were perfectly fine on that day.
Regarding other tourists in the cave, and other companies working with boats - there is not much that can be added. There is even a hole in that cave so the smell of fuel can go away easily :-). We also wish to have this gem just for ourselves, but those times are long gone.
We are sad to hear you did not enjoy the experience.

We had a great time with a knowledgeable and super friendly guide :) The kayaking was really fun and I didn’t expect to spend as much time on the kayaks as we did or to go through as many caves. Definitely exceeded my expectations and is great value for money. Would definitely recommend

The beautiful area and paddling in and out of caves, stunning all together. Oct. is a great time to visit , not that busy . Saw dolphins play on our boat trip back to harbor. Nice and accommodating captain and guide. Would recommend for sure.

Excellent tour of the Benagil caves and Algarve coast. Miguel was a great guide and gave us a memorable experience.
The kayaks was very beginner-friendly which was just perfect for us.
Definitly an activity we recommend doing while in Portimao.

Buena organización y entorno maravilloso, aunque masificado al realizar la visita en agosto.
El número de personas que realizamos la excursión fue el adecuado y el material estaba en buenas condiciones Nos hubiese gustado que nuestro guía nos hubiese dado más información del recorrido. Las vistas de los acantilados desde el mar son espectaculares y la Cueva de Benagil nos encantó a pesar de que había muchas personas y no respondía a las imágenes idílicas que habíamos visto en Internet.

La découverte de la grotte Benagil était magnifique mais nous avons pris un forfait à 40 € (le +cher en kayak) alors qu'il y a d'autres tarifs et nous n'avons visité que cette grotte en - de 2 heures.
Dommage que nous n'ayons pas fait un passage dans une autre grotte ou un arrêt sur une petite crique pour ce prix....
Les accompagnateur étaient quand même sympa.
