Couldn’t wait to get off

I guess we were unlucky enough to have to share the boat with a large group celebrating a kids birthday (10 years old maybe?) I know some of you would think ‘well, go book yourself a private tour’ but they literally took over the boat really; food and cake being passed around with kids screaming, coming and going non stop. I feel sorry for the couples on the boat who maybe thought, like me, this was going to be a chill out experience waiting for the sun to set. We had our two teenagers with us who were totally unimpressed. We’ve done countless of boat trips before (day/evening/bbq’s/sunset) but this was something almost unbearable with these kids running around. It was like being on a bus going on a school tour. I almost feel we should be refunded but I guess you get what you pay for… Also, bear in mind this is not quite the sunset tour you are expecting in the sense that we were back to the port 20 minutes before the ACTUAL sunset (yes, I checked). Music was terrible. I am sure on a normal evening the tour is lovely but I won’t be recommending it to anyone based on my own experience. The staff were mostly nice (except for the one yelling at me all sort of things, in a hundred languages, because I didn’t want to allow him pass in front of us in the queue -due to loads of birthday party goers ‘queue jumping’-. Turns out he worked on the boat 🙂🙃 oops, how would I know?)
