My cousin and I were the only ones on this tour. We really enjoyed having a “private tour”. Alessandra was a great your guide. I enjoyed all of the food on the tour. Most visitors go to Pisa to just see the tower. This tour takes you around the town. There was so much to see. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

Our guide, Valentina, took us to places where we got to try authentic cuisine and introduced us to local favorites. Everything was delicious and we were so full afterwards! She gave us reccomendations for other restaurants that have been amazing as well!

Underwhelming. The tour is not for foodies. We expected more of a culinary experience. Instead we went to a street side “deli” for the charcuterie and a fast food stand for the meat portion of the tour. We ate a small portion of meat on paper plates. For the 2nd course, we visited a nicer restaurant for the pasta. That was good, but uninspiring. We capped it off with a stop at a gelato shop for dessert. There’s gelato shops on every corner in Italy. Nothing remarkable. I wasn’t allowed to choose an ice cream sandwich since it was slightly more expensive than a single scoop cone. All the places we visited were better suited for college kids on a budget. I expected way better than the $272 cost. Another example of a dumb tourist being ripped off. Who don’t I contact for a refund? No value for the price.

Wonderful tour. Alessandra was the perfect guide and host leading us through the back streets of Pisa to the best places to sample the very best local food. The charcuterie platter was just divine, the pasta, and the gelato finish.

There is a LOT of great food, so don’t eat much beforehand. Marta was a great guide, giving us some history and describing architecture and customs. We were a group of four and had a delightful time getting to know the couple from Ireland that we were with. It was five courses with not a lot of walking between them, in the older section of Pisa. A great introduction to the city!

Our tour guide Alessandra was very sweet. We did about 5 stops. My favorite was the first and second one was a charcuterie board and the second was pasta. It was nice that they gave us one alcoholic beverage at each stop. We thought seeing the tower was part of the tour but it wasn’t so we went to see it on our own after.

Valentina was very knowledgeable about the city and offered a lot of information. The spots she picked for meals were great and very filling. The eggplant parmesan was one of the most delicious things ive ever eaten. Make sure you start out on an empty stomach!

Excellent, we met our guide Marta at the designated spot and ended up with a small intimate group for the tour. Marta was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour itself was very much value for money, I have previously been on food tours in other countries and left feeling hungry. This tour left us all absolutely stuffed full of excellent local Pisan cuisine! Grazie grazie grazie!

This was a great tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the food was very different. Some I liked, some not so much but the experience was amazing. The guide did walk really fast though. I’m not sure why. There were older people in the group that kept getting left behind.

This was a fantastic tour. Sasha was the greatest guide, very knowledgeable, very friendly and great fun to be with. She knew the restaurant and shop owners and you could see she had a special relation with each of them. We definitely got our moneys worth. Made our trip to Pisa very special. The most memorable moments on the food tour was twofold: 1) of course the food was great and 2) the people on the tour were fun. Our tour leader, Nicolette, was very informative on the different foods at each of the stops. In addition, she did share other attributes of the city, Pisa. Thanks for the experience.

A wonderful experience seeing Pisa with an expert! We were in a virgin voyages trip to Marina de Carrera so jumped on the train into Pisa. Valentina was easy to find and it was very straightforward! The food was incredible but definitely don’t eat before - there’s LOADS! We were the only people on the tour so it was like a private tour of Italy! Valentina was perfect, she answered all of our questions, We had plenty of time and even managed a quick stop at the leaning tower for a pic and Valentinas great info! Highly recommended trip - if you’re not sure DO IT!

Ok , Pisa food tour, a highlight of our visit to Pisa, we are both vegetarian and had no issue being accommodated on the tour, it was a small group and we visited all the local off tourist grid eateries, you have to try the Cecina, Nicoletta was awesome, and we had a great time and recommended booking just leave room for the gelato at the last stop

Alessandra was a terrific guide - friendly, knowledgeable, interesting and patient. The tour itself was fantastic - the food was varied, plentiful and tasty, we learned a lot about Pisa’s history and covered a lot of ground. It was a good way to walk the city and get a flavour for the cuisine. Suggestions: 1. Walk a wider area with more time between stops - couldn’t do justice to the food given we were eating every 15 to 20 minutes. 2. Offer one more glass of wine or beer as part of the tour (the first glass of Prosecco was on the house). In summary, a wonderful experience and a great way to see a portion of Pisa away from the Leaning Tower complex.

I brought this your to celebrate my husband's birthday. Nicoletta was an excellent guide on this eating tour. We were luck to be her only clients that day so had an exceptional experience as she guided us through a 5 or 6 course meal with wines. The tour took 3 hours and we learned lots about Italy, its traditions and food as well as Nicoletta's farm and vineyard.

My daughter and I had one day in Pisa and we chose this tour on a whim. And what a great choice it turned out to be!! Because of the weather, we were the only ones that showed up which was fine with us! Our amazing tour guide, Nicoletta, was the BEST food tour guide we could have asked for! Despite the rain, we experienced the BEST charcuterie board ever and the gelato was to die for! I'd recommend this tour to anyone interested in experiencing the flavors of Pisa/Italy.
