Dress code: to go inside the cathedral, back, shoulders and at least half thighs must be covered or entrance to the monument won’t be possible
Remember that all tourists before to climb the Tower have to go to the proper left-luggage office to hand in bags/luggage before starting the visit.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your tour will not be refunded .As stated above, we do not refund clients within 24 hours of a tour, and this includes customers who are late due to flight or train cancellations, delays, strikes or issues caused by traffic or congestion, etc. We do not refund either if these problems are caused by the rain. For the customers arriving by cruise ship, pay attention to how far the harbour is from the meeting point.
Due to its Ceremonies, the Cathedral may not be open to visitors or could be visited only partially, and the guide will have to do his explanation from the outside, for example on Sunday mornings.

Lovely guide, but not quite what we expected

We unfortunately missed our 1000 tour time; however, I messaged the tour company an hour before our tour asking for our tickets. She responded quickly and sent me our tickets via WhatsApp. We ended up making our tower tour at 1245.

We really enjoyed this guided tour and wine tasting which followed. Our tour guide, Claudia was very knowledgeable and also friendly and helpful, and asked us if we had extra questions and was keen to make sure we got the most out of the tour. The wine tasting with bread and cheese was lovely and finished off the whole experience well. It was plenty enough for us, but please don’t expect masses of food. There were 3 different wines which came with 3 separate boards of cheese and bread with different pastes to try. The whole experience was well worth it in our opinion and we really enjoyed it.

Our tour guide was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, lively and enthusiastic. The wine tasting at the end was a little disjointed… food to pair with the wine was served after the wine was gone. Staff the restaurant didn’t not appear happy we were there.

Great Tour Of Pisa and Wine Tasting

Learning the history of the Pisa buildings was interesting and really helped to get a better understanding than just visiting them on our own. The tower was of course the highlight, but the wine tasting was absolutely amazing. The location they choose was close and the man who served us our wine and food went into detailed background on the wines chosen and why the particular food accompanied the wine. Great experience for the price.

Excellent tour of the Pisa area/Leaning Tower with wine

I’ve been very happy with Viator’s tours - this one was another example of a great tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. (Her name was Andrea, if I recall). She was very helpful and ensured the group was very well informed. She was entertaining and kept the group engaged. As we had both the wine option and tour, it worked out perfectly. We went to a local restaurant for the wine tasting after the main tour with approximately 90 minutes before our Tower Tour. The restaurant was excellent and the wines were very enjoyable (three local wines). We then went on the tour where we only had to wait about three minutes before entering. Highly recommended!

This was a fabulous guided tour. Taking in the Cathedral, Baptistery and the tower. However I felt the guided tour part was briefer than we thought and took in none of the town. We had opted for the Wine Tasting and Leaning Tower ticket and we hadn't realised that we were grouped together with people doing different tours. As we were the only two taking in the wine tasting this brought our tour to an end when we reached the tasting location. Others then proceeded with our guide I assume to continue the tour. Our ticket to climb the Tower was after the wine tasting which seemed odd. Is it wise to drink and climb! We asked the proprietor if we could possibly return later after climbing the tower and he obliged. This seemed to be a much better way of doing it so we could relax and enjoy the tasting after our climbing achievement. We would still recommend the tour but definitely worth doing the wine tasting at the end.

We do the wine tasting before the Leaning Tower entrance because otherwise you will have to go to the wine tasting by your own and we think is much betterif we go with you and explain the wines. The guided tour took one hour which you can see on the description of the tour, on the description you can also see the that this tour includes the tour of the Square of Miracles and the interior of the Cathedral. If you wanted to see the city center we have another tour, the best of Pisa. Next time choose that one and we will show you that Pisa is much more than the Leaning Tower :) Thank you again it was a pleasure to meet you.

The guide in Pisa was great, however in the wine tasting was not the same because the guide who was someone else left us alone in the wine tasting. I guess there should be someone to teach us this art.
