Our driver, Amelia (I think this is how she spells her name) was amazing. She shared so much local history and highlights, it set the perfect stage for the day.
The winery itself is beautiful. The tour was a perfect length prior to the tasting. We loved hearing about the history of the winery and the making of the wine.
The tasting was so fun. We had 3 groups for a total of 7 people. We all laughed and shared stories. It felt like we were all friends. We were so relaxed being able to taste each wine slowly. We never felt rushed.
I cannot recommend this tour enough. The pricing is very fair for all you get. It was a perfect day for us.

What a fun way to spend a half day! We learned about the wine-making process, with wine tasting and met some great people!
Overall, the trip was well organised, with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour leader.
The winery has a beautiful setting and a rich history. We got to see the cellars and learn about the winemaking process from the engaging guide.
We then got to taste several lovely wines and enjoy a little local produce before the trip back to Pisa. Throughout, the vibe was relaxed, informative and friendly.
Despite the rain, we had an excellent time and would recommend the trip - especially for visitors who want to experience the Tuscan countryside without a car.
Excellent experience at Fattoria Poggio Capponi, Massimo our guide was fabulous. Stunning wine and amazing views.

We had a trip from Pisa and absolutely loved it. We did not want to come back! The driver, the local guide, the scenery, the weather, the wines and other group members - a total combination of a perfect trip! Was so worth of the money!

Emilia was fantastic and even though we had a rainy day we loved the experience. Food was good but it’s mostly snacks like salami and bread, not enough cheese.
You try 6 wines and all you want to drink so definitely worth it.
This is a great introduction to the Chianti wine world. The tour run by Amelia was amazing, say all four of our party and I could say the same for our new American friends. We had six very traditional White, Rose and mainly red wines, with locally produced Extra virgin olive oil, charcuterie and a selection of bread. We are super happy with how the trip from start to finish has gone. Finally we had a small group tour in an exquisite spot in the Tuscan countryside. Thank you Amelia.

Our driver (Massimo) was an expert on the country and the wine and kept us entertained the entire drive. Our person at the winery was amazing, showing us everything, telling us about the history and the wine making.

A great half day trip that takes you into the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Emily our guide was brilliant, giving us loads of fun facts on the drive there and back. The tour itself was excellent, in beautiful surroundings, though the wine tasting itself could have been improved. We weren't really given much information about anything other than the first two wines which was a shame. Rather than put all the wines in front of you to start, they poured two glasses at a time, using the same glasses for all 6 wines. Lovely cheese, bread and meats to accompany the wines and the host Maria was so friendly. That’s the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars. That said it was a great day and we met some really interesting people. No hard sell on the wines either. Would do it again.
Adriano was a very knowledgeable tour guide giving us interesting verbal tasters of what was to come while driving us to the vineyard.
Pick up point was an easy 5 mins walk from the main train station in Pisa, which was really handy for me.
Private tour by a family run business, your guides are funny, knowledgeable and customer focused, our tour was lovely, pick up and drop off personal, wine and olive oil first class, second time round even better and the first time was hard to beat, ordered wine and olive oil to ship home, perfect, thank you x
We had two lovely guides in our driver, Adriano and our guide, Corrado. They were friendly, helpful and charming. The vinyard was beautiful with fabulous views of the Tuscan countryside.
Lovely half day trip to a beautiful vineyard, plenty of wine to taste & a lovely tour of a local vineyard
The wine tasting experience was great! Everyone was very friendly. The only downside was that we ended up buying 6 bottles of wine which costed around €22-€27 approx per bottle and we were more than happy to pay that price for such good wine, though i went to my local super market today and found the exact same wine ( Chianti Montespertoli Riserva) and the it was €12.99 and I bought the exact same wine for €27 whilst at the Fattoria Poggio Capponi. This was a bit disappointing since its more than double the price, plus we purchased 6 bottles 😅
Apart from that we cannot complain regarding the tour as it was just lovely!

The wiews of the landskape were very beautiful. It was interesting to hear about old grape varietys and the traditional way to make wine.
Had a fantastic time on this lovely and authentic wine tour. The tour and tasting were sublime. Even saw the olive groves and had a taste of the oil! Staff were helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Adriano was the best host and driver. Would highly recommend! Must do if you have time.
Our driver was great and gave us a good insight into the Italian and Tuscan traditions around wine and family life. Silva (I hope I have spelled that right) was our wine guide and her teachings of the wines was truly amazing! You could feel how passionate she was about the wines and the region.

It was a beautiful drive from Pisa to the lovely winery our driver/guide was so informative and passionate about this area. The winery and tasting were exceptional. I would highly recommend this tour
Emilia was our guide and was the utmost host! She was friendly and provided a lot of useful knowledge about the region and how to assess Chianti wines before we got to the winery. Then Francesca gave us the loveliest private tour around the property, which was so beautiful and scenic - followed by a wine tasting of 6 of their wines accompanied by delicious breads, cheeses, meats.
Loved learning the special rules and customs of the Chianti culture. Our driver/guide was friendly, knowledgeable and charming. The wine tour was instructive and fast-paced. The wine tasting was delicious and led to everyone becoming friends! No hard sell, that was appreciated.

The whole experience was great. We were lucky to have a good weather so we get to see the beautiful tuscan hills. Our driver/guide was very helpful and accomodating. We travelled with a 8 month old baby - they were all very accomodating. The wines are amazing. It's a 10/10 for us. Recommended!
Emilia was wonderful. She played with our kids (4&5) as we enjoyed the tasting. The winery was absolutely beautiful with fantastic wines. Overall, it was definitely one of the highlights to our trip to Tuscany❤️
