We had a wonderful time doing this tour. The boat cruise part sis simply amazing. The guide was informative but not boring and makes a few jokes along the way. Then off to the winery, again great information and beautiful. We finished off at the winery tasting, which was great. 😊

Our trip started off with a wonderful boat ride which was a perfect way to see some of the wineries, the river and briefly learn about the history of the Douro valley. Then had a great experience from the minute that Angie picked up! She was lovely and very knowledgeable. She took us to the Croft winery where we had a wonderful tour led by Marguretta. We then had some port tastings and Angie drive us back directly to our hotel. We were very lucky because we had booked a group tour but it ended up being private. Angie was very friendly and gave us tips at places to go in the area. I highly recommend this trip! Thanks for a great time!

This was a last minute decision and our only excursion we did on our three week trip. We had a great time with our small group trip (16 people). Nice boat ride on the Douro with great guide who gave us essential history of the area. The winery tour was super educational and really added to our experience of the region. We wish we had done other excursions on our trip - especially if they could be as good as this one.

Guide was excellent. Very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Pickup and drop off locations were easy to find with good parking options.
Vehicle was newer and in good condition.
