Fantastic Full-Day Versailles Experience

Sarah was an amazing guide for our full-day tour of Versailles. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and navigated us through the crowds so smoothly. The full day—including Marie Antoinette’s Petit Trianon and her farm—was totally worth it. Even though it was cold and rainy, the gardens and the farm still felt magical. She’s American, so communication was effortless, and she was incredibly friendly throughout the day. Highly recommend, and thank you, Sarah! Both drivers were also great — the cars were clean, comfortable, and the drivers were so friendly.

Excellent Guide, bad communication from Viator

Our guide, Lucien, was exceptionally knowledgeable and did a fabulous job tying together history of the royal family, the construction and function of Versailles. This was my third visit and I found him to be the best guide I’ve had there. Unfortunately, I paid for a full day private tour with driver which Viator confirmed as 8 to 4. However, they told our guide that our tour was a half day (8 to 1). Very disappointing! The situation has yet to be resolved, but I have proof.

Great Private Tour!!

SO much history, beauty and hidden treasures in Versailles! a private tour is the way to go! They picked us up in a nice Mercedes Benz. Even tough it was a rainy and cloudy day (typical winter weather) the trip was fabulous. Our guide was very knowledgeable, I think his name was Victor (sorry). He told us all about the history and little hidden things that the palace and gardens have. Very much recommend the private tour!!!

Full day tour of Versialles

We loved the entire tour. We booked the full day so that we could see it all. Our guide, Marson (not sure of spelling) was wonderful. While the Palace of Versailles was crowded, once you get out into the gardens, the crowds seem much less. Do not miss Marie Antoinette's gardens at the Petit Trianon! Wow, her Hamlet was so idyllic and peaceful. Thanks for a great tour.

If you have never been to Versailles and have the time I highly recommend the full day tour. Our tour guide Florant was absolutely amazing. He calls Versailles his other home. We could definitely see why. He has so much knowledge and history of the Palace and its surroundings. We toured the Palace, then the gardens, then we stopped for lunch. After lunch we walked through the hunting forest until we arrived at the Le Grand Trianon and the Queen’s Hamlet. I have always wanted to go to Versailles. This tour was more special than I could’ve ever imagined. Merci beacoup Florant .

Lucien was probably the best guide we’ve ever had. Knowledgeable, affable and completely fluent in English. His language skills and bright personality were such that Versailles really came to life for my Nieces and I! Our guide Marijke was phenomenal. She was extremely knowledgeable and loved what she does. The afternoon driver should be commended. While driving down a side street he suddenly stopped the car and got out. We then realized there were two young children standing in and near the street. He made sure he got them into the compound until someone car for them.

The private guided tour was so enjoyable and convenient. The guide and driver were kind enough to wait at the lobby for us as we were slightly late. The car ride was comfortable. The tour started the moment we boarded the van whereby the guide gave us details of Paris city. Versailles is so beautiful where the guide gave us many information from the outside to the inside of the palace. It’s well organised and informative for first timers

This was a great experience for my girlfriend and I. Flora was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with, she was able to answer all of our questions and made the tour smooth and easy. Our driver (unfortunately forgot his name) made our trip very comfortable and safe getting to and from our destination. We would definitely work with this company again for our next trip.

Great half day tour!

Quentin, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and engaging (even for our teenager). The half day tour was perfect for us, we saw everything we wanted to see spending a good amount of time in both the gardens and inside the palace. It was a very crowded day so it was great to be able to skip past the huge line. We also appreciated the hotel pickup and drop off which saved so much time.

Could not ask for a better tour. With this tour we avoided the long-lines under a hot sun and were escorted by our wonderful, knowledgeable guide through the palace and the gardens.
