This was one of our favorites activities in Paris! We loved how calm and peaceful the tour was / not cheesy at all, no commentary throughout / just an enjoyable ride taking in the beautiful sights of the city. Food was excellent too especially the kids dessert!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Viator booking. I’ve been using Viator to book tours for years, but this dinner cruise operator is by far the worst company I’ve dealt with.
I booked the dinner cruise at 2:00 p.m. for the 6:45 p.m. departure the same day. I arrived at the dock around 6:15 p.m. and saw about 10 other people waiting. I started to feel something was wrong because normally the boat should arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. I even checked other docks to make sure we were at the correct location.
At 6:45 p.m., there was no boat. By 6:50 p.m., another customer shared a WhatsApp number for the operator. When I contacted them, they claimed that since I booked at 2:00 p.m., they had already sent out a notice that the meeting point and time had changed. However, other people there said they had booked days, weeks, and even two months in advance. So this was not just a last-minute booking issue. It felt like they were not being truthful.
No one knew where to go or what was happening.
I contacted Viator customer service. The chat representative was helpful, but even he couldn’t reach the operator. He said they would need to send a request to the operator before issuing a refund. If the operator does not respond within 72 hours, the refund will be processed automatically.
Overall, this was extremely disappointing and a complete hassle.

This is the **WORST** experience I have had when traveling. I booked for 4 adults (two adults and my 14 yo kids). Confirmed per usual for 1/1/26. On Christmas Day 12/25/25 I was sent a message via Viator app that it was cancelled and to reply with a request to be rescheduled. I did not get an email, call or text. It was via the Viator app. There was no notification from the Viator app that I had a message unless I opened the app, which I would not open on a regular basis. I check my email regularly which was how the excursion was confirmed. On 12/31/25 I get an TEXT confirming the reservation. So to me it still appears to going well. WHY WOULD I GET A TEXT FROM Viator CONFIRMING THE RIVER CRUISE IF THEY SENT ME A CANCELATION MESSAGE VIA THE APP on Christmas Day 6 DAYS PRIOR?!? So on 1/1/26 the day of the cruise I try to Dow load the tickets, am unable to do so, after many attempts of clicking on multiple links that went in circles I then open the app and see there is a message from Christmas Day canceling the cruise. I call the number in the original confirmation email and am connected with Paris City Vision the local
Paris office that books the cruises and they tell me they can put us in the next day 1/2/26 at 2115 (instead of our original 1815 time). I accept this compromise and they said they would email directly with confirmation and tickets which I receive a few hours later afternoon of 1/1/26. Exhausted, I thought this issues was resolved.
HOWEVER, WHEN I DOWNLOAD THE TICKETS THE NEXT DAY 1/2/26, I SEE TWO TICKETS FOR 2 ADULTS AND THE TICKETS ARE **EXACTLY** THE SAME. I call them again to see if it is 2 exact same tickets for 2 adults each for 4 adults total but they tell me it is IN FACT DUPLICATE TICKET FOR ONLY 2 ADULTS TOTAL. So they replaced my 4 tickets from 1/1/26 with 2 tickets for 1/2/26. THEY COULD NOT ADD 2 MORE BECAUSE THE CRUISE WAS FULL!!!
We leave the next morning and they do not have any more opportunities to go on a river cruise after flying 1/2 way around the world.
ZERO STARS!!!

I had high hopes for this dinner cruise, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to the price tag. The staff were kind and the ambiance was decent, but the overall experience felt underwhelming.
For the cost (around $130), not even basic drinks were included — I ended up paying an extra $20 for a small bottle of water and one glass of champagne, which felt excessive. The food was just okay — not bad, but definitely mid-level quality, and not memorable.
The music was fine but didn’t add much to the atmosphere. I also felt a bit rushed when it came to ordering, and overall the experience lacked the special touch I was hoping for.
It wasn’t terrible, but it felt more like a tourist trap than a romantic or cultural highlight. I wouldn’t do it again, especially not solo.

Wonderful experience. It’s $15 extra per person if you want a window seat, a photographer comes around and you can get a photo package with print outs for $25 and up. The kids menu is $50 euros, my baby only ate the bread so I don’t recommend it if you have picky eaters. Drinks aren’t included. There was a wonderful singer who walked around and serenaded each table, she sang in several languages. Beautiful views but there is no upper stairs lounge

Well organized, left on time. The food was good. The live singer was very good. The sites at night were beautiful. We got to see the Eiffel Tower twinkle at 11:00 pm.

They would not take our vouchers and said they were full. Called vitar there wasn’t anything they could do besides say show them the confirmation email.

We'd originally booked the Italian Dinner Cruise. Due to an issue with my credit card being compromised, that cruise was canceled. Luckily, I was able to speak to a representative who found availability on this cruise. I was nervous about fancy good since I'm not a fan of foie gras or snails. Luckily, the menu was simple. We chose both the steak and the chicken for dinner (steak was better). Enjoyed wine from our window seat while we sailed down the river. The best part of the cruise was the singer. Her voice was lovely and she engaged with all the patrons, making everyone feel welcome and special. Boarding was easy and it was right near the lovely Musee D'Orsay, which we visited prior to the cruise.

The view and food were great. Enjoyed the entertainment will sailing from port past Notre Dame, the Louve, Effie’s Tower and others. The Seine has lots of activity to see. Sun got quite bright and hot at our table, though.

We enjoyed the experience despite being sat next to a young child who wasn’t always behaving and had a diaper changed at the table. Not kidding. Wasn’t really appropriate for non school age children. They’ll never remember it. The boat was stuffy, hot. If they had opened a door, we could have had a lovely breeze. We were all sweating at the 6:45 cruise.
That being said the food was good. Choice of fish, beef, and chicken. One starter and one dessert. Service was very good. They do point out tipping ten percent at the end. You are charged separately for drinks including bottled water. No tap. They had a singer on board and a photographer. Many passengers were very dressed up.

I felt nickel and dimed on this experience, having to pay extra to sit by the window and then having to pay extra for beef. The meal was not good quality. I should’ve paid more for a different boat experience with higher reviews: the cost turned out to be the same as the more expensive ones.

Lots of extras to be considered when taking this experience. Tables are quite cramped and you pay extra for a window seat. Good want brilliant and we played again extra for steak that was not the best in world . My complaint in the night was largely ignored.
