We needed to make last minute changes to our booking and tried every possible way to contact the tour operator - phone, WhatsApp, aviator app, instagram, email and with the assistance of Viator. They are impossible to contact. Viator was also unable to contact them either. I would recommend an alternate operator with better communication.

Tour operator never showed up. We had reached out prior to our arrival many times. We never heard from the tour operator, but I spoke to Viator operators who assured me everything was going to be fine and told me to purchase entry tickets to the museum. Do not use Viator!! we are now working on getting reimbursed for the tour and our entry tickets provider has not made this easy.

Our tour guide, Afsaneh, was exceptional. Her deep knowledge of the museum’s history and artwork made the experience both educational and memorable. This was a great introduction to the most popular artworks at the Louvre. It is a perfect tour for first time visitors, so we booked it to introduce our kids. Our guide, Afsanah, was SO knowledgeable. My husband and I would love to engage her for an in depth tour of less popular artworks.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly but instead of getting a 1.5 hour tour of the museum, she rushed us through in only one hour and did not provide us with a map of the museum for us to use later. Nor did she try to highlight other areas that we could go to on our own. Given the size of the museum, more information should’ve been provided as to what we could do on our own and we really should’ve been given the full 1.5 hours with the guide.

Afsaneh was our tour guide. Her knowledge and passion for history and art was amazing and very moving.
Although we knew there was so much to see and our tour only one and a half hours, we were most satisfied with the areas she took us too. Would highly recommend this taste of The Louvre.
We finished with spectacular Wedding at Cana by Veronese which had so impressed our daughter when she visited in 2009 and even got a glimpse of The Mona Lisa.

David was the best! It was both of our second time visiting the Louvre. What night and day different experiences we had wandering on our own vs having David guide us. We learned and saw so many unique and special things. The experience far exceeded our expectations!! We would highly recommend this experience.

We used Viator for years in different country. And it is for the first time we run into a no show guide. The operator number provided also didn’t produce any response.

Guided tour is definitely the way to go if you’re visiting the louvre as a family and you have little ones. We visited the museum with 3 adults and 2 kids, ages 2 and 4. Our guide Afsaneh was the absolute best, not only was she a lovely person, but she helped us with where to go to borrow strollers for our kids, was patient when one had to use the toilet and knew the best way to get around. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the artwork, could answer any question I had, and even took the time to explain things in the way my 4yr old could understand. She was engaging and honestly made the visit to the Louvre so much more enjoyable than if my husband and I tried to brave it on our own. The Louvre is of monumental size and having a guide is worth every penny. Highly recommend and would do again. If you have the benefit of getting Afsaneh, she will not disappoint.

Understanding the history of the palace and the collection that is there give a lot of value beyond seeing the art works. Asfaneh was very good at explaining the history and adding a passion for the art and overall French history

We loved our tour, our tour guide AFSANEH was amazing, she showed us everything we needed to see and made sure to explain the history to the kids. Was the perfect amount of time too, I think the kids would have been bored on a longer tour. Would definitely recommend!

Our tour guide, Gonzalo, was terrific. He was very knowledgeable. Provided constant feedback and updates in process to meet him as well. Highly recommend this small group tour, as we encountered a lot of the large group tours inside the museum and personalized tour we had.

No-one showed up to take the Tour, no communication to say why? Viator were good with advice via WhatsApp but the company themselves didn't answer calls or text messages. I understand tours get cancelled but the total absence of communication was really stressful and upsetting, especially with a child who was excited for the tour!

I felt like our guide stopped to talk a lot as if to kill time. I also would have preferred a tour of more than one exhibit area. For an hour and a half tour I thought we would cover more of the Louvre. This was booked as a semi private tour so I just felt we could’ve seen more.

Requested a refund but have not had response from Viator in 3 day.
We arrived at meeting point at 3:45 pm for our 4 pm tour.
Waited until 4:25 pm. No tour guide showed up. Since it was Saturday it was “After hours” & We were not able to contact viator thru their “live chat”.
Tried to minimize our losses (198 EU for 2 people on this private tour) and enter Louvre using our separately purchased 4 pm Louvre entrance tickets. Unable to enter b/c Louvre closed entrance at 4 pm. (Due to security concerns)
Louvre representative did give us a voucher to apply for a refund for the louvre entrance tickets.

The tour operator “A Taste of Paris” and our guide Damien made sure we were aware that we needed to get the Louvre admission tickets on our own. Damien was so kind to adjust our starting time to accommodate our schedule. He had a soft voice so we were relieved that earphones were provided so we could hear Damien. A 90-minute tour was indeed short for such a massive museum and I could tell that Damien had such a love for art history that he even gave us extra time to make sure we didn’t miss out on the important paintings. Having a knowledgeable guide to point out interesting things (eg how the sculptures were holding cellphones) made it much more enjoyable.
