Start your excursion with hotel or cruise ship pickup in Ocho Rios, then relax in your private air-conditioned vehicle for the short, scenic drive to Fern Gully.

Fern Gully features more than 300 varieties of ferns and other plant species. Continue along the winding road for several miles, reaching an elevation of 1,200 feet (365 meters) above sea level. Go south to the community of Colgate where you can purchase fresh fruit and coconut from the Rastafarian vendors.

Stop at Konoko Falls and Park for a guided tour. See a water garden, a small museum of local history, and Mahoe Falls. You'll also be able to cool off in the water and take in views over Ocho Rios and the coast.

After visiting Konoko Falls, return to Ocho Rios and have up to two hours to purchase lunch and go shopping. Your tour ends with return to your hotel or cruise port.

Our tour guide Philip was super friendly and knowledgeable. The botanical gardens was beautiful and the view from the falls is gorgeous.

Dr Fun met us right outside the port. I was traveling with my 2 sisters and 91 year old mother. The van was comfortable and nicely air conditioned. He took us up to Fern Gully - careful to avoid the potholes. We stopped a few places and he took our picture. The Konoko Falls was perfect because it was fully covered by trees so cool even though it was a hot day. Lots of flowers and animals to view. The falls were nice - we were up high and could look out over the valley and see our cruise ship in the distance. Dr Fun was full of very interesting facts about Jamaica. Would definitely recommend this tour

Great half day trip. The driver (Delton) was very informative and friendly. We enjoyed the Konoko Park and Falls. The life guards on the falls guide and help you up the falls and take photos for you on your camera if you want. Fern Gully is very pretty but more or less a drive through. Really enjoyable

We had a great day! I would not recommend the Fern Gully though to those who are living near forests as it is very similar.But Konoko Falls is really a nice place with green plants, water, flowers everywhere. A pure moment of peace...We loved it. I certainly recommend this private day to anyone wanting to avoid the crowd from the cruise! Our Dr Fun was flexible and understood very quickly what we were looking for. We also had a chance to visit the food market and taste the Jerk Chicken ! Thanks so much...
