1) The driver will be at the hotel 5 mins before the start of the tour. 2) Start time of the tour for North Mumbai hotels will vary. 3) If you are staying at the ship at the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal and need a pick-up from outside the ship, there will be an additional cost of Rs 1000/- per person. This amount is to be paid in cash to the guide or the driver at the start of the tour.

I had an amazing time exploring the markets of Mumbai with Batul. She made the entire experience fun and engaging! She shared bits of history and local culture, while also showing me the best places to shop! Batul helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and more!
Batul’s warm personality made the tour feel like exploring the city with a friend. She also took fantastic, fun photos throughout the day, which was such a thoughtful extra touch.

Batul was a great guide. The driver picked us up promptly at our hotel and we met her at the spice market. She explained the spices to us and helped us purchase some. We also went to the Thieves market.

6 of us did a group Viator spice markets and Bazaar Tour in Mumbai our guide was Aman Wallia from Footprints tours & trainee Kinjal with Abhijeet our driver.
First we were off to the Bhendi bazaar ‘thieves market’ at bohrimohalla an area of Bori Muslims. They wear their identifiable special clothing as in the photos. We had time for a speciality Chai, Masala Chai or Vanilla etc or mine was a Date Chai called Kahjoor Chaai. Then shopping and looking at the many antique and junk shops here.
I may have bought a couple of items 😀😀
Then onto the Spice Market at Shree Ganash Nagar, Lalbaug, Mumbai where you give the spice merchants your ‘spice recipe’, they fill it, fry it in coconut oil briefly and then it’s ground, sifted and ground again etc until ready for the waiting customer. It doesn’t take long to wait. We got to try our hand at cooking the spices plus making Masala Chai Tea in the street stalls here which was a wonderful experience.
