Itinerary
Start your day in the early morning at Cusrow Baug in Colaba. Meet your guide and get outfitted with your bike and helmet. Take off on two wheels and explore this eclectic city at a leisurely pace. Follow your guide as you navigate away from major roads and into the side streets of Mumbai. The tour starts early to insure you beat the heat and the crowds.
Begin your ride on the back streets of the Fort area—a former business district from the 18th century. Bear witness to the morning commute as thousands of passengers descend upon Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST)—India’s busiest railway station. You may recognize the Victorian Gothic style of this UNESCO World Heritage site from the 2008 film, Slumdog Millionaire.
After witnessing the morning commute, head to Crawford Market where you’ll dismount your bike and venture inside for a quick look. One of the largest fruit, vegetable and meat markets in the city, this destination for local shoppers was the first place in India to get electricity. Cruise though Bhuleshwar and Kalbadevi bazaars before making a stop at Bombay Panjrapole. More than 350 sacred cows and other smaller animals are sheltered in this structure at the center of this kinetic city.
Make a stop at Mumbadevi Temple before riding through the colorful marigold garlands that decorate Mumbai’s flower alley. Coast along the 1-mile (3-km) stretch of scenic Marine Drive. This stunning promenade offers incredible views of the Arabian Sea and offers a haven of peace and quiet (almost) as you make your way to South Mumbai’s major fishing mecca, Sassoon Dock.
End your trip at the original departure point, where you’ll enjoy a typical Indian breakfast with your friendly guide and new friends. Recount stories of the day and compare highlights while you savor a delicious group meal.

This tour was perfect and exceeded my expectations. I would 100% reccomend this tour to others. The guides were on time. The bicycles were really good. The amount of bicycling and sightseeing was just right. All the locations we visited were interesting, historically important, and vibrant with the beating heart of Mumbai. Breakfast was also great. This tour is a winner.

Javed was great! I hadn't ridden a bike in a decade and he really looked out for me. I loved the cows so much. And the dosa was delicious!

Great tour as the city awakes. Went to places I would never have gone ordinarily. Very informative plus great chai break!
Lars_G, Mar 2023
Great way to explore the city in the morning before the noise, vehicles, the crowd and not at least the warmth.
Super nice duo who managed the tour. Interesting stops and great fellow bikers.
Just do it!
Allegra_A, Nov 2022
Great guides and a fun way to see the city! Mumbai has some crazy roads, but our guides made us feel safe crossing roads. A great experience if you enjoy active tours. It's a 14k ride.

We booked it the night before. Colaba is a great area for bike tours, and the early morning breeze was a bonus. The guides were knowledgeable, sites were great and breakfast was even better. I definitely recommend Javed and his team
Gordon_A, Feb 2018
This was a great, intimate, gritty look at Mumbai. Our guides were wonderful, and they took very good care of us, peddling through the streets. The only difficult thing was finding the meeting spot restaurant.
Radhika C, Jun 2017
Amazing tour from beginning to end ! Must try even for the locals.
Allan_C, Apr 2017
We were a bit apprehensive about this trip having booked it from the U.K.
got to thinking about the traffic, the heat, fitness levels.
So anyway set alarm for 5am on the day and set off to meet everyone.
We got our bikes, helmets and set off, it was a bit scary at first but the guides done a great professional job of protecting us from the traffic.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it, starting at the Gateway to India, The Railway station , fed The Cows, The Massive Temple then had some Chai off to the flower market, fish market then onto Marine drive, then a spot of breakfast.
all in all a great day met some great people and had a laugh, we would definitely recommend this tour, not too strenuous, no hills good job because the bikes have no gears lol.
Anna_A, Dec 2016
I never expected to meet anyone at the ungodly hour in the morning but the guides were there on time as were the other participants. The tour was a lot of fun and allowed us to discover fascinating parts of Mumbai with excellent local guidance. Always a good way to explore!
Anna_K, Dec 2016
This tour is lots of fun. We had two lovely guides who made sure we were safe on the roads. We saw some very interesting sites and it felt that we were really getting in and experiencing life in Mumbai. Some of the sites are a bit confronting such as the meat market and the fish market but very interesting if you can handle the smell. The tour was finished off with a tasty breakfast with our guides. The only improvement would be helmets. I requested one but the two I was given were obviously child helmets and didn't fit so I went without.
Margareth E, Nov 2016
Excellent tour. I would give 5 stars if they had helmets.
Victor_P, Apr 2016
Even if you have no time, you need to go for the tour, I think one of the best available, and 100 it is great choice to see the city from Inside.
Stephan M, Apr 2016
We loved the tour. We had a very good guide, and all questions was answered. The bicycles were all new and adjusted to the individual.
Ellen S, Feb 2016
the tour gave usfamili of 4, boys 1113 a view of the city you can only see this way.
Martin B, Feb 2016
This was a really nice tour. The guide was really good. We saw amazing places.
We were 8 and I was the only one that requested a helmet. This should be mandatory.
This can save your life. Because of that i removed 1 start.
Alan M, Jan 2016
The guide was very informative and the cycle tour gave us an opportunity to see some places that we would not have got to. The meeting place is a little hard to find so research it carefully before the morning of the tour. The streets were not too busy and cycling was safe.
Kevin A, Dec 2015
Highlight of whole cruise holiday - a truly unforgettable experience. Superbly organised, excellent guide. A fantastic way to see Mumbai city
Stephanie G, Oct 2015
The best way to see a city, especially Mumbai is by bike! We enjoyed riding through the chaos and seeing the sights and sounds of Mumbai. The tour will start early but in four hours you will see almost all that there is to see of importance in the city. Our guides were very knowledgeable and we felt safe with both of them. On this trip we were able to visit the flower market, fish docks, fruit market, boardwalk, we fed cows, drank roadside chai masala and had a blast. This tour is not for the faint of heart, keep an open mind, travel light and enjoy the city of lights!
Rita P, Aug 2015
It was an extremely interesting and informative , plus fun trip!
There are certainly times that are very scary, but guides tried to protect us
Great way to see the city wake up.
We were promised forwarding of some pictures of fish market, etc.
