What an opportunity this was to see another part of Mumbai (Bombay). We knew day two we would see all the touristy stops so day one we chose the 2.5 hour walking tour of Bandra. Samantha was just the perfect tour guide giving us info of the rich history and local culture of this thriving suburb. She took us down side streets, through villages and the promenade along the water. Down the steps with interesting colorful murals telling of the culture and history. Samantha is a local! She grew up in Bandra and speaks very clear English—easy to understand. You can tell she loves taking people on these tours. Oh and we scheduled this the day of the tour, got off our cruise ship and got an Uber. Easy.

Great tour but not good value - no reflection on guide

My guide, Vikram was very knowledgeable and shared interesting history of the area. As a sole traveler, I felt comfortable with him; he was personable and a great communicator before and during the tour. The reason I only have 4 stars is that I don't think the tour is worth the cost charged. It is a very expensive tour for what you get especially considering there is no hotel pick-up. I had to get myself to the meeting point. This should be much cheaper for a walking tour with no entrance fees.
