We loved our tour with Karen!! She was an expert driver and a fantastic guide. We enjoyed seeing Belvedere lookout and Magic Mountain. The views are simply amazing. Karen gave us a lot of history, which was so nice to understand the Tahitian culture and history. We would highly recommend this tour!!

Karen was a careful, confident driver (needed for the steep, curve laden narrow track) who is a wealth of information about Moorea, its history and the stories surrounding the places we visited. She supplemented the information with personal stories, bringing alive much of what we saw. Great tour. Thank you Karen!

Another great experience on Moorea this time on land rather than water. Franky collected us from hotel and took us to the meeting point. Our guide Mr T was very friendly and a good driver on those bumpy tracks. It was a fun outing and we saw some spectacular scenery.

Karen was a great guide and driver. We learnt lots about the island and got to go to the lookouts. The road up to top is a little bumpy but only a short ride.
The tour needs to update the meeting location as they told us to drive to meet at other side of island then the tour ended on the side we were staying. So we ended up dropping everyone else off the tour then still had over a hour of driving back to car then back to our accommodation. Make sure you get a pick up or meeting spot on the ferry side of island.

Karen is from this island and shared her knowledge of their customs and history. We saw so much of the island so a great overview . She drove us up to Magic Mountain which has an incredible view. Highly recommend this company

This tour was a lot of fun. Open air vehicle, saw many sights, and got a lot of good information about Moorea. Frankie is a very funny tour guide. We really enjoyed it!

We had a joint group of French and English which made it a hassle because he had to explain everything twice. Nothing wrong with the French of tour. Just boring and time consuming

We are on a cruise from Lima to Tahiti. We used Viatorr to book several tours at various Islands. Some went better than others. The tour company, Franky Frank in Mo’orea was definitely the best. Since we were on a cruise, we couldn’t arrange a hotel pick up and Franky Frank was right on top of it immediately assuring us that a Dock pick up was not a problem. When the day of our tour arrived, we were at the dock a bit early. Promptly at 9:30 4 x 4 arrived to pick us up. In addition to seeing the highlights of the island that were included in the tour, Karen gave us much background on life in the island, local traditions and superstitions and many other things made the tour enjoyable. And I highly recommend this company with tour guide Karen.

What a fun day! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about Moorea, sharing information about Moorea’s past and present. He also shared some legends with us that have been passed down for generations. The distillery was unexpectedly closed, so he added a few extra stops to ensure our tour didn’t end too early.

Great tour! Definitely drove places we would not have felt comfortable driving on our own for some awesome views. Friendly, funny guide. Bring lots of water if it’s hot.

It was quite an experience. We had the greatest your guide. He was so much fun and made our excursion one to remember. He even accommodated our friend that got injured on a previous excursion. Highly recommend this excursion. But if you have back problems it's a no. Very bumpy in the back of the truck. We were all in hysterics and had the best time.

Our half-day tour around Moorea was truly a great experience. We had only 8 guests in the jeep, and Franky entertained, explained, and made the day! I find these types of trips around an island, with a local guide giving you some history, showing you some great sites and hidden treasures, the best way to get an overall view of the area.
Our guide, Francky Franck himself (or so he said . . . ) was truly amazing. He's informative, knowledgeable, and downright funny. Francky told us he's been on the island for at least 17+ years and really seems to know it well. Our half-day tour, up and down, and all around the island gave us a great overall view of Moorea. Along with providing us some humorous antidotes about island life, or Francky's great sense of humor. He brought us to some great spots up high in the hills, along with down low around the coast. We visited some local highlights like a pineapple plantation and local tropical gardens. My one note for those with issues on bumpy rides; these open-air jeeps are great, but there are places when climbing up the hills where it gets pretty bumpy. I loved it. And if you are looking for a worthwhile, and great value, take this tour in Moorea.

Don't book if you are scared of heights. The road up to magic mountain is very steep and bumpy. The view from the top however is amazing.

Our guide picked us up at the pier. He spoke perfect English. Some of the people in our small group spoke French, so he explained everything 1st in English, then in French. He was very knowledgeable and always knew the answer to any question about the history, the plants, the culture, etc. The only thing that would have made the trip better was if the weather had been more cooperative. It rained on and off during the tour and the clouds sometimes inhibited the views.

Fun time exploring Moorea with knowledgeable and personable guides. Our group of 10 people had 2 vehicles and traveled together. We went to the distillery, Magic Mountain and the pineapple plantation. It was a great tour of Moorea. Lots of fun!

Toa was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. If you book on Sunday, the juice factory/distillery is closed. But Toa took extra time on the other stops, which were perfect. This is much better than trying to see the sites ourselves— driving up those hills is wild! Plus you get to learn lots of interesting things about Moorea.

disappointed due to the tour did not follow the description I was given. We were supposed to go to a liquor factory for tastings where we would have the opportunity to taste and buy.

Your booking was scheduled for May 1st, which is Labor Day—a public holiday. As a result, the distillery was unfortunately closed, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
However, please note that this was the only stop affected by the holiday. The tour itself was not shortened in any way; instead, the guide allocated more time to the other stops to ensure you still had a full and enriching experience.

The tour was all about the vistas and we were taken to some amazing viewpoints, that said Francky was extremely knowledgeable on the Polynesian history as well as the local flora and fauna. What really made our excursion memorable was Franckys infectious personality and wit. Lots of jokes , sound effects added for good measure balanced with seriousness as required for the more historical elements. We had a great excursion that will stick with us for some time. Francky made all the difference !!
