We loved our tour with Karen!! She was an expert driver and a fantastic guide. We enjoyed seeing Belvedere lookout and Magic Mountain. The views are simply amazing. Karen gave us a lot of history, which was so nice to understand the Tahitian culture and history. We would highly recommend this tour!!

A bit rough due to road or should I say no roads but it was a great experience! The views were amazing!
First of all our driver/guide was fabulous! His name was Tomma (sorry if I misspelled it). Do yourself a favor and request him.
We went to several areas with magnificent views. The ride was a little rough but well worth it. There were scattered rain showers but our driver adjusted his route and we dodged all of them and still managed to see everything.
Awesome! This was a great day to see the island, the beauty, the landscape and the culture! Thank you Tomaru you were excellent!!!
It was a very wonderful tour with friendly guide and many stops at beautiful view points as well as interesting places.
Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the island and its history, a great tour. A bit bumpy on the way up to the viewing point but ok.
Karen. She was great. Knew the history of the Land, knew EVERYONE, and was awesome at those steep hills!

We had such an amazing tour with Karen — truly, she’s the best tour guide we’ve ever had, and this was one of the highlights of our trip to French Polynesia.
Karen was so warm, curious, and incredibly fun to spend time with (she had us laughing the entire time haha). She knows so much about Mo'orea — its history, culture, and geography — and French Polynesia more broadly. We felt like we learned an incredible amount in just four hours. We also loved hearing about her own life and experiences on the island. It made the tour feel really personal and gave us a much better sense of what life on Mo'orea is actually like.
She’s also an impressively good driver — the road up Magic Mountain is really steep and narrow, and watching her handle it so easily made us very glad we hadn’t tried to DIY that drive ourselves
We genuinely couldn’t recommend Francky Frank Tours enough, and if you can request Karen, definitely do. She was such a huge part of what made our time in Mo'orea so memorable. Thank you, Karen!
Our guide was Karen and she did a wonderful job in driving us to Belvedere look out point and Magic Mountain lookout point. Parts of the roads were steep and unpaved. The views were spectacular. Karen told us a little bit about the history and culture of the Moorea and we would recommend the tour.
Our tour guide Karen picked us up at our hotel on a rainy morning and proceeded to give us a really fantastic tour of Moorea. She is very knowledgeable, super friendly and we felt lucky that she was our guide. We travelled up to the highest lookout on the island, learned about the local people and their culture, visited a pineapple field seeing fruit in various states of ripeness, saw a vanilla garden learning how it's grown, and visited a local fruit juice factory and distillery and got to taste the different liquors made there. It was a REALLY great and thorough dive into Moorea. We made some new friends in the back of Karen's truck which we have maintained since our visit. Thanks Karen for a really good time.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Karen was very informative about all nuances of Moorea and was able to describe island history in a most immersive and detailed way. She ensured that everyone got to ask questions and answered them all. Other tours would arrive after us and depart before us. I’m certain we were more enlightened than the other groups.
This was such a fun way to see Moorea. Karen was so knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. The viewpoints were stunning and we enjoyed trying local rums, marmalades, and fruits. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Moorea!

This was one of the highlights of our time in Moorea! The island is absolutely stunning, and this tour took us to so many beautiful places that we never would have found on our own. From the incredible viewpoints to the pineapple plantations and local tastings, every stop was memorable.
Our guide, Karen, made the day truly special. She was so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, and her passion for Moorea really shone through. She made everyone feel included and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. We learnt so much about the island's history, culture, and people, and had so many laughs!
If you're visiting Moorea, don't miss this tour. It's the perfect way to experience the real beauty of the island, and if you're lucky enough to have Karen as your guide, you're guaranteed an unforgettable day. We couldn't recommend it more highly!
I think this tour is a good value and easy way to see parts of the island you'd otherwise miss without a rental car. Resort pickup/dropoff was very convenient and timely. We enjoyed meeting some local people at each of the stops and the insights provided by our driver added some color to our trip. Unfortunately we did catch quite a bit of rain on the day of our tour, but our driver was flexible and re-ordered some of the stops to accommodate the changing weather. As some others have noted, this tour can include some rough, challenging, steep roads in order to reach the scenic mountain views, so it might not be best for elderly or those susceptible to motion sickness. In a fun stroke of luck, we actually ran into our driver the next day at a lunch spot where tourists and locals were enjoying the world cup soccer match!
Overall the tour was good and Frankyfrank was a great tour guide with a lot of great information and stories about the island. But the tour was very physical. The roads are. Dry rough and bumpy and we had to hold on just to stay in our seats. We were exhausted by the end of the tour. This is not a good tour for older people or anyone that can not handle physical activity.
Our guide was very informative, the history of the island was cool, and the views are SPECTACULAR. This is a great way to explore Moorea

Good communication, timely arrival for our pick up, Karen was friendly and checked in with the group regularly to make sure all was ok. Her local knowledge was extensive and knows the best coffee spot!!

Traveling in a open aired truck with benches facing each other. Kemo (?) Was fabulous. He shares family stories and is very knowledgeable about Moorea. Went to the top of MAGIC mountain. Spectacular views. Worth your time and money!
Having Frankie conduct the tour himself was quite the experience. His French sense of humour describing the landscape and island history was the highlight of the tour. Driven to our destinations was in a clean, late model Ford Ranger enabled us to experience sights unable to be reached in a regular vehicle. Magic Mountain, our first stop, was literally.... magic! The view was spectacular.
Great day out with these guys. Got to see views where the big buses can't go. Highly recommend. Seats very comfortable!
Karen was a careful, confident driver (needed for the steep, curve laden narrow track) who is a wealth of information about Moorea, its history and the stories surrounding the places we visited. She supplemented the information with personal stories, bringing alive much of what we saw. Great tour. Thank you Karen!

Another great experience on Moorea this time on land rather than water. Franky collected us from hotel and took us to the meeting point. Our guide Mr T was very friendly and a good driver on those bumpy tracks. It was a fun outing and we saw some spectacular scenery.
Karen was a great guide and driver. We learnt lots about the island and got to go to the lookouts. The road up to top is a little bumpy but only a short ride.
The tour needs to update the meeting location as they told us to drive to meet at other side of island then the tour ended on the side we were staying. So we ended up dropping everyone else off the tour then still had over a hour of driving back to car then back to our accommodation. Make sure you get a pick up or meeting spot on the ferry side of island.
Karen is from this island and shared her knowledge of their customs and history. We saw so much of the island so a great overview . She drove us up to Magic Mountain which has an incredible view. Highly recommend this company
