I cannot begin to express my appreciation for this tour and company. I was unaware that the pick up was only for 2+ people and they were very kind and agreed to pick me up even though it was only me which just made me feel more comfortable as a solo traveler on her first international solo trip. Seriously so grateful.
The tour itself was incredible. Wilfred was exceptional. Friendly, funny, very social and inclusive. He made us feel like a small family. I kissed a stingray, swam with sharks, ate raw fish for the first time in 20 years and it was amazing. They also had a full barbecue if the poisson cru was not your thing (but try it. It was stellar and I’m NOT a fish person). We tried fresh shaved coconut, coconut water, and fresh squeezed coconut milk. Watched the poisson cru get prepared. Learned about herbs and how to make hats out of palms and how to tie a sarong.
Wilfred also actively ensured everyone had great photos and was having fun. He was very kind and attentive. Not to mention the best driver I’ve ever seen. He was able to entertain, manage the boat, and play ukulele.
I was fully ready to walk and or have to find my own taxi home but they already had the service waiting for us when we docked. The driver also dropped me off first so I could catch the 3:25pm ferry and not wait for the later one. Again, so grateful for the service.
The trip was beautiful, well planned, and just overall breathtaking. Thank you so much for the best tour I’ve been on during my trip. Definitely a can’t miss tour! I left with great memories, lots of photos, and a very cool palm hat. Thank you x100000000

This tour is was great! We got picked up from the Sofitel and was taken to the dock to meet up with the group. We had 11 people but plenty of room for everyone. A great way to start our stay at Moorea by seeing the island from the water. The stops for snorkeling were fun, got to see black tip sharks and stingrays. Wilfred was entertaining, knowledgeable and loved sharing the French Polynesian culture. He made banana leaf hats for the ladies, had a nice lunch on the moth, and some cultural lessons along the way. Definitely recommend!

Great Excursion! We took this excursion after arriving by cruise ship. The provider was easy to find at the pier. It was a great day filled with snorkeling with rays, sharks, and lots of fish. We enjoyed the presentations of preparing authentic Polynesian food and how to harvest a coconut.

Fun time with crew and lots of information about Tahiti. Not just snorkeling. Boat was covered for shade. Plenty of shade on the Island. Loads of information about the islands and culture. Great easy places to snorkel with lots of fish.

Moorea was by far the best Coral Reef of the 4 Polynesian Islands we visited, snorkling with black tip sharks and sting rays was very cool too then we stopped at a local Island for lunch and our guide shared some Polynesian culture with us, we had a good lunch consisting of raw tuna salad made fresh in front of us called Poisson Cru, followed by lunch that's was very good

This is a great 1 day experience. You‘ll snorkel on a shallow reef alongside blacktip sharks and southern stingrays. Lots of other colored fish including picasso trigerfish, blue chromis, and bluefin tuna. You‘ll hear about the local Polynesian history, watch ceviche being made fresh on the beach, learn to husk a coconut, have a delicious lunch, and so much more. The guided outrigger boat tours comfortably hold 12 guests. This trip is a great once in a life time event and the value is outstanding. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and overall great too.

Wilfred was absolutely amazing. If you do this tour request him. His English is great and he is so knowledgeable. He taught us so much about the ecosystem, plants, weaving, coconuts and the lunch was incredible. This was one of our favorite excursions.

We booked this tour for our vacation in Moorea towards mid-June 2026. Wilfred was great as our guide and boat captain. At one stop, he helped us to pet a stingray and showed us to be calm in the water with blacktip sharks.He didn't just help us enjoy our water/snorkeling activities, but he also showed us so much about French Polynesian culture too. We stopped later at a motu, where Wilfred helped to prepare lunch and provided entertainment. He played the ukulele and drum for us, showed us how to cook poisson cru, taught us to split open a coconut for its milk, and he taught us how to use a pareo (sarong) for different outfits. He made palm leaf hats for the tour group and explained how to preserve them and bring them home. We still have ours. He ensured that the whole tour group could participate. He did all of it with an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. He also focused on ensuring that we were able to have photographs of ourselves watching or participating in all the activities of the tour. This was a great tour.

Wonderful guide and great snorkeling. Got to swim with sharks, stingrays, and lots of fish. The lunch is a great way to experience more traditional foods and the cultural/craft demonstrations were quite cool!

My wife and I had a great time on this excursion. Swimming with the sharks and rays was really fun! My wife said before we got there she wasn't going to get in the water but changed her mind once we got there and had a great time. And then the lunch....wow! Best meal I had on Moorea!!!!

I’ve done a similar tour before and this was at least as good. I’d happily book with Moorea Miti Tours again tomorrow. Nolte, our guide, (like Nick Nolte,) has a great deadpan delivery for his jokes, and he was super friendly.
The time on the sandbar with the sharks and the rays was enjoyable and we did pay the local photographer with her waterproof camera for underwater pictures with the stingrays.
The time snorkeling between the two motus was excellent as expected.
The fresh poison cru was perfectly balanced with lime, salt, and freshly squeezed coconut milk. The other picnic food was also a solid meal.
Lastly, the discussion of local flora, and the uses there of for medicinal purposes was quite interesting, as was the demonstration of different ways to wear the sarong/pareu. One gentleman commented, “I guess we don’t need to buy dresses ever again!” since the lady was able to demonstrate one sarong could be worn in dozens of ways.

Great way to spend a day on Moorea.
Guides were informative, fun & friendly.
We really enjoyed learning how to open a coconut & how each part is used.
The sarong style demonstration was also interesting as was learning about local medicinal plants.

Highlight of our trip! So fun snorkeling, but also learning about the island and culture. Lunch was delicious (and there was plenty of food!) Tour will proceed rain or shine, so pack a rain jacket and dry clothes if rain is in the forecast.

Best excursion in our 10 day trip.
Nolte our guide was amazing and very entertaining. The sea life you get while snorkeling is very fulfilling and the time you get to do it is more than enough. The lunch was probably the best lunch/meal we had on the trip.

We had so much fun. The boat took us to snorkel with sharks and rays, and then we went to a beautiful little island where our captain, Mana, prepared an amazing feast for us. We had a contest to husk a coconut, we listened to a great band and we snorkeled on a beautiful beach. We unfortunately we’re late for our reservation, but they did everything in their power to accommodate us and they showed us an amazing time. I cannot recommend them enough.

This experience was truly magical! In part by our amazing tour guide who was funny, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our family has done several excursions and this one topped them all. This here was an amazing tour. Everything from swimming with the sharks and rays to the local cuisine. My wife ate poisson cru at 3 different locations over our 12 day vacation. This was by far her favorite. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a must do tour if you are ever in Moorea.

We had a wonderful time on this tour and left very satisfied.
Everything was well organized, and the instructions about where to park and where the tour started were very clear and easy to follow.
Our guide was fantastic — friendly, funny, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We expected there might be a bit more snorkeling, but this was more than made up for by the amazing program on the island and the delicious lunch.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this tour to others visiting Moorea.
