This tour was the perfect way to explore the natural beauty of Moorea! The hikes were easy and enjoyable, with absolutely stunning views along the way. Each stop felt like its own little hidden gem. The final waterfall hike was a fun and refreshing way to end the day, definitely a highlight! Our guide, Pier, was fantastic and so helpful, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island’s landscape and culture. We learned a lot and had an amazing time. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Moorea!

Tama was an excellent guide and an even better driver. Felt very safe on some sketchy terrain to/from Magic Mountain. He took us to beautiful lookout points and explained the history and significance of each. Lunch at the private beach spot was truly delicious, and now I need to figure out how to make Poisson Cru Chinois myself! Enjoyed a lovely swim in crystal clear water exploring the coral while lunch was prepared. Unfortunately, it is rainy season, so the skies opened up on us with a tropical downpour when we were half way up the waterfall trail. The trail was already uneven and muddy/slippery and the downpour was only going to make it worse, so we decided to turn back. Really appreciated Tama’s concern for our safety and showing us the safest places for our feet on the way down. If you want an open air tour to places air-conditioned busses can’t go with an authentic local guide, you can’t do better than Tama and Enjoy Moorea tours.

Magic Mountain and Belvedere lookout places were great!
However, the vanilla plants greenhouse was very bad. The plants were not maintained and many were dead. The floor was dirty and full of algae. I actually slipped and fell on the floor!
The beach place where we had lunch was so ugly. There was hardly any sand, but full of big rocks. None of the guests went swimming.
Also, the driver was over half hour LATE. We called and texted the tour operator over 10 times, but no one answered. BAD service!

Maybe it was not the best tour for you ,from the other feedbacks we get from the beach and unfortunately when you tried to call us we were on international flight.

Tmama was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about àll the places we went. Was able to answer all our wuestions.
However he had to cut our tour short due to rain. We didn't get to have lunch nor see the waterfalls.
Also told we would get 50% refund back, that was 5 days ago and we don't have anything yet!

You get to see areas off the main roads. Lunch consisting of local produce was delicious. Great driver who shared their vast local knowledge.

This was a totally great expereience. Pierre the owner and great leader was as good as it gets. Super tour guide and even prepared the great lunch we had at his very own private oceanfront picnic grounds. Pierre forgets nothing and does a great job providing history and lots of info on flora and fauna . We got to see most of the entire island of Moorea!! Pierre is a super good driver on some of the bumpiest off roads tours. The best ever. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience. Tama was a fabulous tour guide. This is a small group tour with stops at beautiful locations on Moorea. Definitely an adrenaline rush! Our favorite was the beach with a lunch of locally sourced fruits and ceviche along with beverages. Highly recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed our day on Moorea with Pierre. He was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable about the island. We particularly enjoyed the lunch on the beach which really exceeded our expectations in presentation and taste. We also really enjoyed the hike to the waterfall, but beware it’s a bit treacherous and muddy. When we got there it was incredibly beautiful and we even swam in the rocky pool under it. The views were fabulous all around and Pierre had some information prepared but also answered all of our curious questions about the land and the people. I highly recommend this day trip!

Our guide was the owner operator who has spent most of his life on Moorea. He was passionate about sharing his favorite things about Moorea with us. I’d highly recommend this tour, our guide was a ton of fun and my wife and I had a blast!!

Not worth the money at all! I thought ok spend a little more for a better experience. Not the case here. We had a better time with Albert’s. This was a waste of money for us! The tour guide left us to do most things on our own. Then took us to a location on “his family property” and threw down some food on a mosquito infested picnic bench..asked us to pee outdoors. Not providing tissue paper or anything .. just eww. Wasted 298$$

Thank you for your inquiry, we would've preferred that you told us you had some issues on the same day but its ok.
It seems like our tour was not up to your standard and we feel sorry for that.
we have a different way of working than those big companies , we always makes sure guest know everything they need to know about the places we visit then give them time to enjoy by themselves as well , we take you to some wild secluded places where there is no running water or electricity , where you do not see another tourist and we try to make as comfy as possible , but going off the beaten track also includes the chance of having mosquitoes yes .. we could have made a big building on the Beach with all modern facility that you have back in your home but we want to keep our home wild.
Next time make sure to book with big touristy company and you will be fine 👌🏽.

Tama was a fantastic guide. The vehicle was perfect for this tour. Unfortunately we couldn't do the walk to the falls as too much rain had fallen the night before and the track was dangerous. We did see and learn at many different sights and had a fantastic local lunch by a private beach. What an awesome day!

Our Moorea tour was phenomenal! For a one day tour, so much was packed into our tour! We experienced beautiful views from the high mountains, a tour of the beautiful flowers, trees, and a stop at a private spot on the ocean to dip our toes and then he prepared us an amazing lunch in our private retreat!
Climbing through the jjungle and mountain to visit a waterfall was a dream come true for our friends!
We learned so much from his native point of view of the amazing way of life on this beautiful island. My highlight was seeing the mountain peaks, especially the view of Bali Hai! A dream trip!

This tour was very good, we loved the top of Magic mountain views among other views. The last site was a trek thru a forest to a waterfall that was difficult, I made it, but my wife couldn't make it all the way, she had to wait on the path for 40 minutes by herself. The waterfall at the end was barely there, wasn't worth the effort getting there! Tahiti waterfall was so much better, easy walk to great site!

Pierre was a fantastic guide! He picked us up from a hotel a timely manner and took us all over the island. He showed us hidden gems that only locals would know about, and educated us about local fruits, cuisines, landmarks, biodiversity, and history.
We would highly recommend for anyone coming to Moorea!

If your thinking about it just do it. Such a cool experience with an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable and has some unforgettable views.
Lunch was my top 2 on the island. I’m. Not going to ruin the surprise but the lunch and hike alone are worth the trip.
This is an entire day trip BUT well worth it.

Very informative and down to earth. Delicious lunch on the private beach and very enjoyable chat about Moorea, the culture, economy etc. We love learning about what real life is like and not just what we see by the resorts. Pierre was an amazing guide and clearly loved Moorea and what he was doing. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing way to see the island thru the eyes of a local tour guide. Pierre was awesome!! His knowledge is on point and he is extremely kind to all, people and animals alike, we had a great day
We even got to hike a challenging path to a beautiful waterfall that most anyone can do. Lunch was delicious and as fresh as it could be, sourced from locals. I would rate this trip A+
And a must for anyone to see parts of the island you would not see from the resorts

Tour guide was 45 min late. Vehicle was not in good condition. No signage. Driver refused to go to the waterfall because he felt our group of very fit 60+ were too old, despite the gorgeous weather and our wanting to go. Instead he drove us to a beach and left. He returned in just over an hour.
The lunch was wonderful but again the driver left for an extended period.
This tour was a total waste of time and money.

Although there is a couple things we need to clarify.
First of all , in the last 7 years , we have never been late to pick our guest up and it is something we are proud of , if you did not receive our email letting you know the exact pick up time at your resort it is on you.
Then our vehicule is a brand new 2024 FORD RANGER , so you cannot get better in term of condition..
And finally you might think that you were fit enough but if your guide estimated that the hike would put your safety at risk , maybe you should listen to the locals .
Your ego probably did not like the fact that we told you that the hike was too risky for you but we prefer to have a bad comment then to take you at the hospital.

Pierre was an amazing host. His love of the island really shined through. He took us to a couple of places that are only seen on his tour. We had access to a secluded beach while he made us lunch of poisson cru and fresh fruits. The simple hike mentioned is a “simple hike” for islanders. If you are not in great shape it is difficult, hiking uphill on rocky terrain and a bit of climbing. Pierre was very kind and waited while I worked through it and cheered me on. If you are taking the ferry from Tahiti for a day trip only buy a one way. There are two ferry companies and the timing may not work when you are ready to return if you buy a round trip.

The knowledge of our tour guide was impressive. The lunch he served us was great! The views were all so awesome. We didn’t get to hike up to the waterfall due to raining, but it just wouldn’t have been safe.
