My wife and I came here on our honeymoon, looking for a romantic evening out. The ride over was wonderful with Ms Mareva and greeting Captain Leo was a pleasure. He took us and our small group on the boat as we enjoyed every moment of our trip. The waters were so still and there was a slight breeze which made the voyage that much more beautiful. Captain Leo was very knowledgeable about the waters and the island. The sunset was magical, we even got to see a turtle and some flying fish. The Maitai’s were a bonus!
We would highly recommend booking this tour, especially for those looking to relax and watch the sunset from the ocean. It was truly a special experience we will never forget.

Evidently they sent a cab to pick us up. Not sure if he came to our hotel or another one but they called us at 5:20 said the cab had been there to pick us up but we were not there. They also said that they checked at the front desk and looked for us in the bar. We asked all four people at the front desk and they said nobody had asked for us. They refused to refund our money and we were furious. Tahiti is full of very nice native people but these folks were nasty french types who lie through their teeth. What a nightmare!

We had an amazing time on the Taboo with Leo and JP! They were so great the entire time and really took so many steps to make sure our experience was perfect. The sunset was gorgeous, the scenery beautiful, and the mai tais were delicious!

Leo is a great host. We had a lovely evening on the water to enjoy the wonderful Moorea sunset. Small group made it better than most Sunset sails. We actually did sail for most of the time

Very nice trip. Winds were calm, so we had to motor around which was fine. Our captain was friendly and very knowledgeable . The clouds to the west were too dense for a nice sunset. Mother Nature has her way sometimes. We were on the island 10 days with no colorful sunsets, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.

My husband and I sailed with Leo at the end of December and had a lovely time. Leo is very knowledgeable of the area and sprinkled some facts throughout our tour. Although we had some rain, and it was cloudy, we were able to see the sun peak out while it set. Gorgeous views and all in all, a great time! Definitely recommend!

It is not to long but very relaxing trip. U can have a bit of knowledge of the Island and also an experience of sailing on the ocean which for some, like me, can be a fantastic thing.

Captain Neil was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave great information on local lore, not to mention he makes an amazing Maitai! The sunset was absolutely amazing and Neil put us in the perfect spot to watch the sun go down.

Our sunset tour was great. We learned a lot about Moorea and the lagoon, and sailed in the ocean a bit before checking out the sunset. We would do it again!

This was a beautiful, relaxing, sunset sail with a couple of mai tai and amazing views. We had a beautiful night and were able to see the full mountains as Leo told us some of the history of the area. We were confused about the meeting area, but the details in the message from the operators made it easy to find the spot with the tires and a cement landing that the dinghies go to.

Captain Leo picked us up from the Hilton and we took a tender to the sailboat. We had a nice wind for the sails on the way back, and we were visited by a pod of spinner dolphins! It was amazing - they were literally running parallel, on the inside of the catamaran! We saw them spinning too. Not the best sunset, but he waited until almost dark and we got to see the moon up at the same time as the sun setting. Definitely a great trip!

The captain was a very cool person and the boat was very nice. You can sit on the net where you can see water under you. The sunset is very beautiful and you can get a completely different sunset perspective on the boat. It was a great way to finish our trip!

This was a fun ride on Taboo! We laid on the nets and the cushions and it was a great view. Also were served delicious Mai tais! Only downfall was that it rained a decent amount of our trip so maybe would have tried to reschedule.

We had a lovely cruise through Cook and Opunohu bays before stopping to view the sunset. Leo was a warm host offering some history and drinks along the way. It was a very pleasant afternoon and we would highly recommend.

Leo was a great guide, giving us good historical and cultural information during the sail, as well as plenty of opportunities for photos and conversation.
One thing to keep in mind - you will board a small skiff to get out to and onto the catamaran. If you have any disabilities or difficulties in getting in and out of boats, this might not be for you. However, Leo and other passengers will assist if you’re just a bit tentative about the transfers.
