Relaxed trip, enjoyed learning some of the history of Moorea. Liked the pineapple factory bar. Feeding Puhi a highlight for us.

We wish we would have taken this excursion on day 2 instead of day 5. We were shown a wonderful overview of Moorea, Our driver and guide, TOT, was awesome. He showed such pride in sharing his cultural history with us. The ride up “Magic Mountain” was a hoot and the freshwater eels an unexpected bonus! Let’s not forget the distillery stop!
All in all, one of the best ways to spend a half day and get a feel for what Moorea has to offer.

Our guide picked us up exactly when we were told, he was courteous, knowledgeable and provided us with a visually stunning excursion.
Circumnavigating the road up to the Magic Mtn. Lookout was no small feat and he handled it like a pro!
Overall, the scenery was amazing and the thought of doing this tour on a bus with 30+ other people would not be something we would have enjoyed. There were only 4 of us in the back of the truck, so it was a more personal experience.

We enthusiastically recommend Tour Safari 4x4 with Torea Nui Transports. Booking and communication with the company representative Jean-baptiste was very easy and efficient. We went to places that could not have been accessed with a regular vehicle and were rewarded with astoundingly beautiful views of Moorea. Our driver was also excellent in navigating rustic mountain roads.

It was a great experience and wonderful opportunity to see the island and learn about the culture. I had Stephan that was the tour guide and he was absolutely spectacular. He gave us history of the island and why certain aspects (hibiscus, plants, etc) were so important in knowing why the culture is here in Mo’orea.

Great trip and good value. Brilliant views from the look outs and the tour guide was excellent. No issues at all. We’re good to contact me before the trip to explain where to meet. They also gave me great tips of how to get to the best beaches - basically there is a shuttle at the tender port. 5$ pp each way and runs very regular.
I would not have known this before if not for these guys. Highly recommend them.

The ride up Magic Mountain in the back of a pickup was very rough, more than I imagined, so if you have any back issues this will not be a pleasant experience but the view is amazing and the ride down not quite as rough. Remainder of tour is no issue for those with back issues. All the sites were very nice but wish the driver had told us more about each one and the culture

Our driver was not a tour guide. He drove to the location and dropped us off then disappeared. We saw beautiful locations but no commentary.

Great tour and guide. Recommend for all ages. My parents were in their 80's and really enjoyed the ride up the mountains. Fruit tasting at the waterfall and generous tastings at the distillery

Spectacular scenery but we paid more than a couple who just joined at the dock. We paid $75 per person they paid $50

I received a message from the operator to cancel the trip. First the Ferry Service boat was out of order due to engine problems. I tried to request a refund but couldn’t on the Viator website due to a non-refundable status. Please refund the cost.

Had a very good 4x4 trip to 2 fantastic viewpoints (Belvedere & Magid Mountain), a rugged drive through pineapple fields planted in the caldera of the volcano that formed the island and a visit to a sacred sight. Our guide was very informative and helped us understand the culture and lifestyle of Moorea. The 4x4 got rugged at times but was well worth the tour cost.

This was a great overview of the island and gave us a good idea of places we might want to come back to on our own. Some of the locations could only be reached by 4x4 so glad they were driving.

I swam with lemon sharks, stroked sting rays, saw some amazing coral,had a very good lunch at Bloody Mary’s ( pirates of the Caribbean setting) then toured the island in the safari jeep finding some beautiful photo shots. Could not have been better
