We travelled with another couple. Tender boats were slow from the cruise ship but Jay Jay was there waiting for us to arrive. The tour was very well organized and informative. We saw beautiful sites that we never could have on our own. Highly recommend this company for your Island adventure.

The best part of this tour wasn’t the individual stops, but getting an overview of the stunning scenery - the mountains and bays of northern and central Moorea. I have a sensitive back, but I wasn’t bothered at all by the roads. The seats are soft and comfortable, which really helps. It was a nice touch that some of the sites were owned by the family company hosting the tour - it made the experience feel more personal and genuine. There were four of us tourists in total, and we shared a pleasant time together.
Tips: Double-check your pick-up time and bring water.

Excursion cancelled 15 minutes before departure, no refund issued to date despite several follow-ups, no response to my emails. The worst service ever.

We had no experience. There were 4000 people getting tendered off of our ship and it was very disorganized. Many people were able to get off before us, but it took us longer and the tour left without us. We appreciate the fact that they waited as long as they did for us. I’m sure it was a very good tour, but we didn’t get it.

We booked and paid online, and arrived at the meeting point on time, saw 2 people in the truck, and while our group of 5 walked around the carpark looking for the driver, he drove away with the vacant seats and didn't respond to our waving.
The phone was answered by someone from a different company, but we did receive a refund after emailing our complaint.

Our tour operator, Ari was amazing! He’s kind, enthusiastic, and his laugh is contagious. Our family had such a great time, Ari made the whole experience fun and informative. The ride was fine with seat belts, though there’s a short bumpy stretch, so if you have neck issues it’s best to sit up front with Ari. We’re so glad we booked this tour, highly recommend!

Great stops and experience. The guide was fun and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the tour was drawn out by the fact they overcrowded the vehicle with people from hotels spread across the island requiring us to spend an hour taxing people to far hotels on both the out and back. Anyone staying near the ferry was stuck for more than their fair share of time - wasted time in a beautiful island.

Tour has the option to pick up from outside the Moorea ferry terminal from Tahiti (means a 6:10 ferry for the morning trip). First stop is the islands main viewpoint, then various photo stops on the way to some ruins, pineapple fields and large fresh water eels. All interesting but doesn't cover much ground. The highlight seems to be eating pineapple and coconut picked on the spot. Afterwards there's alcohol tasting in a shop then jam tasting at a pearl shop. Could have done without the second shop. Final stop at a swing up a hill with views over some of the up market hotels. Driver was funny and made not very much seem more interesting than it was. A good way to see Moorea for those who don't mind bumping over single track potholes, but a bit underwhelming. Worth being aware many of the tours get cancelled. The jeeps can only take 8 people and need a minimum passenger load to be viable.

He was on time (actually a bit early) to pick up us then dropped us back to ferry so we can go to Tahiti. The day went by fast and it was more than expected. 5 star service. Thanks so much.

We did not go to magic mountain which was the reason for booking. We made a rum purchase after the tasting and forgot it in the truck, the tour provider did not return it to us. They drop you have at your hotel so he could have returned it to the front desk.

Regarding Magic Mountain, please note that on the day of your tour, we were under an orange alert due to very dangerous weather conditions. For safety reasons, we had to adjust the itinerary accordingly, as access to certain sites was not possible. The well-being of our guests is always our top priority.
As for your forgotten purchase, we understand how frustrating that can be. However, our company is closed on Sundays, and no drivers are available on that day. You were given the option to pick it up by taxi, or we could have delivered it to you on Monday when we reopened. We always strive to assist our guests in the best possible way, but we appreciate your understanding of our operational constraints.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for a better experience.

We were so looking forward to this guided tour experience but the weather did not cooperate. Moana, our tour guide, arrived on time for our hotel pickup. Moana discussed the impact of the heavy rains and changing weather and we mutually decided to postpone the tour for our safety and the overall experience.
Bummer. We had seen great reviews about Moana and have had great experiences with Albert Tours, prior. It just wasn’t meant to be.
We are super appreciative of Moana and Albert Tours for putting our safety and enjoyment first.
We will try again next time!

Was given a pick up time of 1330. Strange as the tour started at 1300. Waited outside until 1415 but no sign of tour operator ans no phone call. Very poor and disappointing for me to waste so much time for something that was not going to happen

I am very disappointed with Viator. The tour had to cancel my trip due to weather. They offered to take me the next day, but I was leaving the country early in the morning the next day, so I could not take the tour. The tour company understood and agreed to refund me. I set this up on January 3, 2024, and the company still has not refunded me or returned any of my communications. I even tried to chat online, since there is no phone number to contact, and I kept being told that I would have to wait for someone to contact me. It has been a month and no contact yet.

Gerard was a wonderful guide. Informative, funny. The tour was very nice, recommend it. Only downside is they are not easy to get ahold of. I emailed, text on what’s app, called several times. Finally someone answered the phone & didn’t have any idea that I had sent a email with a picture of the airBB I was staying at for pickup. She said “well, we get a lot of email”(but you’re supposed to be picking me up tomorrow!!)🤦🏽♀️ that part was really frustrating to the point that we were almost going to book a separate company until they literally called that very second and picked us up at one of their locations but it was that frustrating trying to confirm the booking of the tour so they’ve got to improve in that area otherwise very nice tour, and great guide
