The tour was excellent. Heirani owns and operates the tour. He’s very attentive & knowledgeable and educates you on local history. He picked us up at the cruise port & returned us there. I will note that he was the only driver that I observed to drive the final 200 yards up Magic Mountain in reverse, which definitely made exiting easier. Tour highlights: -Picked up at cruise port -Magic Mountain -Belvedere lookout -Local jam & pineapple tasting -Pineapple plantation -River eels (a lot bigger than expected) -Local distillery (tasting & gift shop) -Black pearl shop (you get a discount from the marked price) & provided poke bowl lunch. -Local public beach (he took the people that didn’t want to stay back to the cruise port & returned later for those that wanted to stay at the beach) -Back to cruise port

We were in French Polynesia for 14 days (11 on the Paul Gauguin cruise ship) but had researched and booked this tour well in advance due to our short time on Moorea. It was by far our best tour, and a welcome respite from the snorkeling, whale watching, and other more active tours. Heimata Hall, the owner and tour guide, was amazing, and we actually sampled 14 different foods from small local vendors that we would not have discovered on our own. Heimata knew the best restaurants on all the islands, and you felt like "family" touring with him. Highly recommended!

We had such an amazing tour with Karen — truly, she’s the best tour guide we’ve ever had, and this was one of the highlights of our trip to French Polynesia. Karen was so warm, curious, and incredibly fun to spend time with (she had us laughing the entire time haha). She knows so much about Mo'orea — its history, culture, and geography — and French Polynesia more broadly. We felt like we learned an incredible amount in just four hours. We also loved hearing about her own life and experiences on the island. It made the tour feel really personal and gave us a much better sense of what life on Mo'orea is actually like. She’s also an impressively good driver — the road up Magic Mountain is really steep and narrow, and watching her handle it so easily made us very glad we hadn’t tried to DIY that drive ourselves We genuinely couldn’t recommend Francky Frank Tours enough, and if you can request Karen, definitely do. She was such a huge part of what made our time in Mo'orea so memorable. Thank you, Karen!
