Look for a more reliable option—this company is not serious.

My session was canceled three minutes before it was supposed to start (7:57 AM) because there were no waves—which I completely understand, nature is unpredictable. The issue is that they canceled so late that I had already paid $30 for parking, which was a total waste of money. Their website also states that on no-wave days, you’d still get the land portion of the class and be offered a paddleboard instead of a surfboard. However, they neither had nor offered any paddleboards. I had to remind them about this option, and they told me they couldn’t fulfill it for at least another two or three hours. We had other plans for that day already scheduled, of course. Bottom line: this was a waste of time and money. They shouldn’t promise what they can’t deliver. If you’re looking for a surf class, I’d strongly recommend finding a more professional and reliable option elsewhere. If you’re traveling with your family, you shouldn’t have your Sunday morning disrupted for their lack of professionalism—there are so many other cool things to do in this city!

Hi Rafael, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback - we’re genuinely sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive, pay for parking, and then have the session canceled. Since it was an early 8 AM lesson, the ocean conditions looked promising the night before, so we confirmed the session as usual. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived at the beach, the ocean had gone completely flat. Because the change happened so early in the morning, we weren’t able to notify you in advance - and we truly apologize for that inconvenience. We did offer to bring paddleboards as an alternative, in line with what we mention on our website, but it does take time to transport and prepare the equipment, and we understand that waiting wasn’t ideal for your schedule. That said, surfing is a sport deeply connected to nature - it requires collaboration, flexibility, and a bit of patience, as we’re always working with the elements. While we do our best to adapt and provide a great experience regardless of conditions, there are moments when nature simply has the final say. We value your feedback and will continue working to improve communication and preparedness for flat days.
