Very bad experience with AMIGO TOURS

TERRIBLE When I booked it, tour was supposed to start at 8:15 AM The night before, I received an email stating tour would start at 8:00 AM Meeting place was much farther away than I expected from my hotel, I left at 7:40 AM, and arrived at meeting place at 8:11 AM I was told tour guide just left, people even showed me the van where tour guide left; I saw it with my own eyes. I called the number in the reservation, explained the situation, and requested the phone number of the tour guide to call him directly; and I was told it was again their policies, and since I was 11 minutes late, I just lost everything. I recognize I was 11 minutes late, but there was not even a hint of help from the tour operator. Very disappointed on the lack of empathy and willingness to help from this Agency. The name is AMIGO TOURS, end they have nothing of AMIGO....

fantastic site, excellent guide

definitely an amazing site. We got a lower price by meet the tour at the site entrance, but the uber from the city was expensive, so we may have been better off paying for the tour bus. Nonetheless, we were able to skip the artisans and restaurant stops which are part of the bus tour. Our guide Antonio was excellent, but if your hearing isn't great stand close to him. The radio earphones work well, but you get a "double image" sound between the natural voice and the headphone. Since my hearing isn't great, I found it best to not use the radio and stand close to the guide. Would have liked more time in the museum, but otherwise the tour and site was amazing. Our adult kids loved it too. Be prepared for heat.

Terrible Tour

We booked a turn around tour to Teotihuacan. We go to the sight and come back. Instead, we were lumped together with a group that stayed an extra two hours at a store selling local crafts. We booked the other tour specifically to avoid this market. We were not told this until we were already on the bus and on our way. We were stuck there until the bus left. I will never use Viator again. You shouldn’t either.

Wrong title to the tour

It was NOT on my own. There was a terrible guide and we had to follow her including to a store of tequila and stones. Do NOT book this tour.

Don’t book through Viator

Don’t book Viator ! Customer service is terrible. They contract local tour guide and increase the price. Look for tour guides there at the pyramids they are genuine and really knowledgeable. Anywhere but Viator. Uber is also easily accessible and cheap if you’re worried about transportation.
