Wonderful day trip to Teotihuacan, lunch at La Gruta

Daniel is a very informative and engaging guide, also very interesting to talk to about daily life in Mexico City. He also gave us options for extra stops after our Teotihuacan visit. He was easy to communicate with prior to the tour for arranging everything.

The pyramids are a must...

The pyramids are a must see as well as the Guadalupe Basilica. Our guide was a mixed bag. He was nice, courteous, great English and modified the schedule as per our requests. On the other hand, he was very fidgety, did not have any materials or guides, did not engage kids with any kid friendly stories and was shabbily dressed.

Every single time I tried to engage your kids in conversation you yourself Sameed ever single time replied stopping thus you yourself the conversation fuethermore when I tried to offer your little girl to try a piece of rabbit meat you shouted to me 'She will', 3. You judging My dressing is irrelevante. 4. Fidgeting is an individual natural personality trait. Thank You.

Great day trip to the pyramids

The pyramids are a great thing to visit while in Mexico City. They are 1 hr outside the centre by car. The whole site is very impressive. Even though you can no longer climb the stairs of the pyramids it is a huge site and requires a lot of walking. We went in the Christmas holidays so it was quite busy. Daniel was a great guide. He knew a lot about the history and guided us in an around the site. He took us for lunch at one of the restaurants nearby and we stopped for tamales in the nearby town for breakfast. He was responsive beforehand for questions and arranging pickup and itinerary. He drives a good sized vehicle which was comfortable for 4 of us but could have fit 5. Daniel clearly knows a lot about Mexico City and its surroundings.

Private drive to the pyramids. It was nice to get there early when it was still cooler. Had plenty of time to explore. Daniel gave a good presentation full of details and answered all our questions.

Daniel picked us up from our hotel and from the very start he was friendly and hugely interesting and informative, which was exactly what we had hoped for, and more. We spent more time at the pyramids than many other tours were offering, in fact we saw no others to compare. Getting there early, it was quiet and atmospheric. Daniel didn't rush us, in fact, he was leisurely and relaxed while being fascinating about the Aztec history. After plenty of time at the pyramids, we stopped for a delicious lunch at a cactus farm and very traditional restaurant Daniel recommended. There is much more to this tour too, but most of all I just want to thank Daniel, and wish him good luck in expanding his business because, most certainly, he deserves it. We felt really lucky to have him as our guide for the day, and highly recommend.

Visiting Teotihuacan is on everyone’s list of “must do” activities in Mexico, and rightly so. However, engaging a good, knowledgeable guide is key to getting the most out of the experience. Daniel knew the ins and outs of the logistical side of things, so he was able to get us everywhere we needed to be without encountering long waits. He also has deep expertise in the history of Teotihuacan as well as in the ongoing research that continues to reveal more of the site’s secrets.
