After joining the shuttle at the hotel that’s most convenient for you, travel to Arena México for the lucha libre match and settle into the seat you’ve selected for the entertainment ahead.
The lights blaze on and the spectators roar with anticipation as each masked fighter, or luchador, jumps into the ring. Join in the cheer for the técnicos—Mexican comic-book superheroes, warriors, or saints—as they tackle the rudos (villains) with jaw-dropping agility. Marvel as they spin and catapult inside the ring.
When the match ends and your throat is hoarse from all the cheering, hop back on the bus. If you’ve opted for a package with tacos, you’ll head to a local taqueria for tacos, a drink, and a couple of extra bites before returning to the stop where the shuttle collected you; if you purchased the ticket-only package, you’ll return to the meeting point directly.

What a fantastic night! The wrestling was such a unique and memorable experience.
Communication for pickup was excellent—clear and easy to follow. We arrived early, so we popped into one of the lively bars opposite the arena for a drink. It was busy, but the atmosphere was brilliant. Inside, vendors wandered through the crowd selling drinks, snacks, and colourful masks, setting the tone perfectly for the evening ahead.
The wrestling itself was an absolute blast—a mix of theatrical performance and genuine athleticism that had the crowd completely engaged. It was impossible not to join in with the cheers and boos!
When the event ended, heavy rain was pouring down, but our wonderful driver dropped us close to our apartment so we wouldn’t get too wet—a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that really stood out.
All in all, it was an incredibly fun night out from start to finish.

exactly as expected with some impressive aerobatics though. Shout out to the concessionaires though for not gouging. This is a genuine people's spectacle not a corporate blowout. Also, full on a Tuesday night of Mexicans not tourists..

So much fun, the match its self was a spectacle that must be seen. We got there early enough to do some shots at the food hall across the street. Our driver was prompt and communicated well.

Put your mask on as a fan. Its tradition. I didn’t know many fans wear their masks. I left it in the tour van during the show. I wish I would’ve worn it during the event.

My family and I were excited to attend our first Lucha Libre event, but the experience was unfortunately marred by poor ticket handling. Despite booking our tickets in advance, we were informed just two days before the event that our seats would be separated — my wife, son, and I were not seated together. This issue was only discovered by the provider at the last minute.
They did try to accommodate us, but by then, our seating options were very limited. We even offered to pay extra for better seats, but there were no closer options available. In the end, we were seated much higher and farther from the ring than we had hoped.
On a positive note, the Lucha Libre itself was a fun and memorable experience, and we made the best of it. The transportation service was excellent and got us to and from our hotel on time without any issues.
Advice: Make sure the provider confirms your seating arrangement at the time of booking to avoid last-minute surprises.

The pick up was seamless. Emailed prior to the event and at pick up were provided our tickets and masks. Then a short ride to the venue. Our driver was bilingual and easy to understand. He explained how to enter and what to expect once we got inside. Lots of merch available for sale outside the venue.
He let us know how to meet up and shared his number in case anyone got lost.
Once inside we had an amazing time with great service from the arena employees. The restrooms were clean and organized, I left a small tip (coin). Beers and sodas were cold, 24 oz beers for about $7 usd.
Vendors came by selling hot dogs, (individual pico de gallo, pickled peppers, mustard mayo and ketchup packets) pizza and popcorn.
The matches were fun and the audience interactive.
We had a complete blast. We didn’t get lost. Easily found our driver and were delivered back to the pick up point which was 650 feet from our B&B.

Worst experience thus far. We were asked to come to the Zocalo Hotel lobby at 4 PM to be picked up. We got here before 4 PM and have been waiting, we then called a support number and someone said that someone came to pick us up at 3:40 PM. What kind of stupid timing is that and now they say we have to go to the arena ourselves which we aren’t sure where it is and how to get there. What the heck did we pay for then ..

Luche Libre is a must-see event when visiting Mexico City! So much entertainment, excitement and interactive fun in a safe environment! There is nothing like attending the live event! There is a lot of police presence which can be intimidating at first but it’s for our safety. Note that tips are expected by the ushers when seeing you to your seat. Pesos is needed to buy food and drinks during the event but there are some cafes at the venue that accept credit cards. The driver, Eduardo, was so accommodating and made us feel safe and comfortable, and threw in a little tour on the way as well. He made sure we knew the pickup point, and walked us to the entrance, explaining what we need to do. Overall fantastic activity, that I will do again the next time I visit Mexico City.

The ride to the venue was very convenient and we enjoyed the show. The wresting matches were impressive and hilarious! Seats were really tight and my husband who is 6’5” had very achy knees by the end. So if you’re tall, I suggest sitting in the lower level. Our driver was amazing and easy to find afterwards.

We went to a Sunday 5p match. Lucha Libre itself was so fun. Very entertaining wrestling and the crowd was enthusiastic and really fun to enjoy. But we could have gotten the match tix at the stadium for much less money. This tour was basically just a ride to the stadium and a mask (also available in abundance at the stadium). Next time, I’d skip this tour and just get the tix and go. Totally walkable to/from the game from Roma Norte. (Two solo chicas traveling together)

It was sooo much fun, a good safe crowd, plenty of staff to assist in finding seats, and to buy food and drinks from- not necessary to leave your seat to buy food and drinks or wrestling masks, The sellers often came around and the Arena Mexico was set up for excellent views from any seat for the performances.AND the driver taking us to the match was very kind in making sure we knew exactly where the drop off and pick up point was and communicating to us often to make sure we knew where he would be waiting for us! He even assisted me in finding a special wrestling mask! Loved the whole experience!!

LUCHA IS SO FUN!! I'm not into wrestling and I was ALL IN, and so was our entire group, ages ranging from 30 to 70! Gabriela was an awesome guide, definitely try to get her! We got picked up in a really nice bus, and stopped at the bar/market across the street before for drinks and snacks (music was amazing) then we walked across the way and easily got to our seats. Throughout the show it's super easy to buy beer and snacks, like a baseball game. She even had lucha masks for all of us!!

The tickets can be bougth directly from ticketmaster. The service provided aggregates very little, only the driver, but it is much more expansive than buying the tickets directly. The driver arrived on time but asked us to wait for other guests...

So fun! Yeah you can get tickets directly from Ticketmaster or scalpers but doing it as part of tour takes all the stress and planning out of the way. They will come pick you up from your hotel, drop you off in front of the arena and pick you up and take you back to the hotel after.
The wrestling experience is definitely not to be missed. Great energy. Mix of locals and tourists enjoying acrobatic wrestling. Yeah, it’s a bit cheese at times but that’s what you expect from this type of wrestling. You can’t help but to get into it yourself and soon you will find yourself screaming and cheering.
Highly recommend it for both adults and kids alike.

We payed $140 ($70/ each) for this and see on the actual ticket that the cost for the ticket was about $17 each. We were staying close to the arena so we did not need transportation and just walked rather than took the provided transportation. Probably my fault for not looking into direct ticket purchase, but definitely got scammed here. The wrestling match was a lot of fun though.

It seems that the problem was that the cost of the tickets for the show didn´t worth it. The cost of the ticket includes the driver can give you a complete explanation of the culture and history of Mexican Wrestling in English, your masks and a brochure with a complete explanation of the rules and all little details of this particular sport. Plus, your transfer in and out service is completely safe and takes to you on time to the show, including the transfer out can takes to you back to tour hotel, meeting point or any other place to have dinner.

Overall my family had a great time. Here is the biggest learning point for me about using VIATOR in general. When booking a tour if the tour reads includes PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION, this does not mean it is only your group. There will be private transportation via a type of van for as many people as can fit in the van. Fortunately our van only had three groups of 2 people, so 6 total. Here is why it is important to know the above, my wife and I were done with the experience one hour into the wresting. It was fun, but quite loud and we had our fill early. However, because we arrived as part of a group, we would of had to wait until 10:30-11pm until the entire event was done and all the other groups met back at the designated meeting point for pickup.
Here is the second learning point about this experience in particular. iPhone type devices are allowed. any other camera, be it a GoPro, insta 360, mirrorless camera or dslr, are not allowed in the arena. I did bring a discrete dslr in a fanny pack. when en-rout to the arena my driver informed me that I would not be allowed in with the camera. He generously offered to take the camera himself while the we were in the arena and I would get the camera back from him after the event. this all worked out perfectly. however, since my wife and I left the event early, I met our driver at the designated meeting point to get the camera and then take an uber back to my hotel.
So,
1) private transportation = not private experience
2) don't bring anything but a phone camera to the event.

It seems that unfortunately, the problem was inside the Arena Mexico organization for the show, because you weren´t allowed to bring with you any professional photographic equipment since inside the Arena is not allowed and our driver offered you to keep your camera while you assisted the show. This was a fun experience. I’m not a huge wrestling fan but it was very enjoyable to watch, even if you don’t understand what’s happening, it’s pretty easy to get. And the crowd gets into it. It’s very hot in the area, so dress appropriately. Our guide, Juan was very nice and patient. We don’t know that there was a taco dinner included but it was after the show at 10pm. But we went anyways. It was a great experience.

Event was great. Pickup could have been much better and clearer. Missed pickup by 1.5 hr (2.5hrs before event?) and had to take a cab to meet the host at the arena. Tour operator should have done a much better job communicating.
