If you include all the options, the trip could be up to 6 hours long.
We really appreciated the flexibility. Karen, our guide was excellent, very informative, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. Lorena was an excellent driver; we felt very safe. The vehicle was comfortable and clean.
Communication was excellent.

The pyramids were better than anticipated. I enjoyed learning the history from Karen who was our amazing guide. Our lunch stop was very good. The cave wasn't really for me and not at all what I expected. Stopping to try different liquors and shopping was also not for me but the others in the group seemed to enjoy it. Karen was a great guide.

Our guide was excellent. He had a good personality and was knowledgeable about the pyramids. Our driver was a great and went very slowly over speed bumps and avoided most pot holes in the road.

Karen our tour guide was full of knowledge. She was so funny and made the tour even better. She knows where to take us for the shortest lines. Offered to take pictures for us. Overall, we had such an amazing time thanks to Karen. She’s exceptional and speaks really good English. I’ll definitely referral all my friends and families to book this tour when they go to Mexico City.

I have to say with all the options for tours to Teotihuacán I am very happy I decided for this one.
The day prior to the tour, a WhatsApp group was created to let us know the logistics of the tour.
I liked that we were picked up where we were staying, they kept us updated on the arrival time and on a small delay due to closed streets which was out of their control.
Karen was our guide she was very knowledgeable, fun person, answered all the questions, always attentive to what we needed. Josue was our driver, very capable. I felt safe even when the city traffic can be very chaotic.
Even though Teotihuacán can be very busy, I appreciated their planning and the logistics, I felt that by the time we were leaving everyone else was coming which gave us the opportunity to see more. After the pyramids we went to a cave and lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Loved visiting the local family who explained how to make pulque and we tried different types of liquors, BUT what I appreciated the most was meeting the father who has worked the obsidian since he was a child, and to see how he transforms a “stone” into art, something unique with a story, not made by a machine.
I would definitively recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the pyramids with a small group and don’t feel pressured to buy anything you do not want to.

We had a wonderful day with Karen. She was very knowledgeable about the areas we went to and so very personable. Pedro did a great job getting us to where we needed to be despite all the traffic. It was an amazing experience due to them both.

Karen, our tour guide was fantastic! She answered our questions and was very knowledgeable. She had a big group and took the time to share some history and had a great sense of humor. Loved seeing the Moon and Sun pyramids.

Some good, some less. The Overview said Max. 15 people, and the Overview describes it as “small group”. In fact we got a msg the night before listing 36 people. Communication with the tour operator was very limited & confusing. They sent 2 vans & 2 guides but never checked our ticket/vouchers and we ended up with only 4 others from our actual group due to the chaos. The descriptions onboard were a mixture of English & Spanish, quickly swapping back and forth which made it very difficult to follow due to the Mexican accented English.
The van was air conditioned and comfortable and our guide was very pleasant and kept us informed of our itinerary and progress.
Because our group was so large it took longer to move thru the various activities like going up the pyramid stairs, bathroom breaks, winding thru the caves, etc. It was hard to hear our guide unless we were standing very close. In the end we returned to the hotel 1.5 hours late. As we had tickets to the Folkloric Ballet we had less than 30 min. to get ready and leave again.
It wasn’t a terrible day, we did enjoy the tour, the cave, and lunch. But in the future I will look for smaller groups, licensed guides with deeper knowledge, and those that use radio/ear bud sound systems.

The message sent the night before includes all travelers scheduled for that day; however, guests are organized and operated in separate groups of a maximum of 15 people, exactly as stated in the tour description. This is why multiple vans and guides are assigned, allowing us to maintain small groups throughout the experience.
Regarding communication and language, our guides are licensed and adjust their explanations according to the group composition. That said, we truly appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving clarity and consistency during the tour.
As for timing, this experience includes multiple sites, and external factors such as visitor flow at archaeological areas can impact the overall duration. Our priority is always safety and providing a complete experience without rushing guests unnecessarily.

I decided not to go on this tour. It advertised max 15 people. When I got the email about pick up time there were 36 people listed on the email. Not what I signed up for. I inquired about the numbers and never got an answer from the tour company. I paid for a tour with a different company as I had zero confidence due to lack of communication. I have escalated it to Viator asking for a refund. Poor communication and not keeping groups small as advertised is NOT good customer service.

To clarify the point mentioned: the email referenced includes all travelers scheduled for that day, however guests are always divided into separate groups of a maximum of 15 people, exactly as advertised. We do not operate large group tours.
We specialize in small-group, premium experiences, with a strong focus on service quality and attention to detail. It’s unfortunate the guest did not join the tour, as she would have been able to see firsthand how the experience is actually delivered.

Not much time to climb the pyramid. If that is your main goal and spend a little time maybe leave the tour a little earlier and go to the pyramid
