We had a wonderful guide and a great driver. Michelle was very knowledgeable about Chichen Itza and Yucatecan history. She was friendly and very helpful. Diego was an attentive driver. We knew that the tour would be all day because of the four different stops. However, the day was too long. We were on the road for 12 hours! Chichen Itza was well worth the trip, and we could have stayed longer. Since the Cenote Ik Kal was so close by, it would be nice if we had the option of not going to the Cenote and remaining at Chichen Itza for another hour and being picked up after the others visited the Cenote. Izamal was lovely, but the hour-plus drive to get there was a bit much.

The Chichen Itza Adventure! Cenote and Izamal from Merida is a wonderful excursion and I highly recommend it, especially with our guide, Annel and driver, Diego. Annel was fun and very knowledgeable and made sure we beat the crowds at every stop. Annel provide information that made us appreciate everything we saw. Diego had a sense of humor and was a very safe driver. We had plenty of time to enjoy each stop and did not feel rushed. The lunch was delicious and at a beautiful hacienda that you can walk around. This was a very fun, pleasant and amazing excursion.

Well organized tour

The trip was well organized. We left early enough in the morning to arrive at Chichen Itza before it was too hot or crowded. After Chichen Itza we went to a cenote where we could swim in the beautiful water and cool off. We finished the tour with a visit to Izmael where we could climb the pyramid/temple and also had an opportunity to visit the convent.
